I need a dev so I can submit the footage as proof

    They name it that because it detects cheats.

    sometimes, yes, most of the times no :) also, "cheats" do not need to be 3rd party programs /software

    They name it that because it detects cheats.

    sometimes, yes, most of the times no :) also, "cheats" do not need to be 3rd party programs /software

    So, like all anti-cheats, it's not perfect.

    Open a ticket with support.deadbydaylight.com, fill up the report form, attach the evidence and click on submit. Leave it to the devs for review.

    Also, please keep in mind that lag switching is only a temporary ban...

    Because it detects third party software, for laggswitchign you dont need 3rd party software messing with the files :wink:

    lag switching is as simple as starting up a few downloads while the game plays, there's nothing in the TOS that permits ppl from e.g watching movies while playing or having a family that shares internet, as much as it sucks that's basically it.
