Not thrilled about upcoming changes to rank

In its current state, we have basically two weeks where the poor behavior and toxic play goes through the roof - the week before rank reset as people try and get themselves up into the next rank before reset, and the week right after rank reset, when everyone's trying to get their old rank back. After that, while there are always players who are toxic no matter what, in general, things tend to calm down somewhat.

With the new change putting everyone back to 20 every month, the end result, I fear, is going to be more people behaving poorly in games for longer as they want to get back to up X rank each and every month.

    Think you are missing the MMR requirement to that change. The thing about the current reset is that tryhards get mixed with casuals. This won't happen when they switch to the new system.

    I personally am excited for it. I do agree with you but right now rank means nothing soon at least you can earn something to help with the grind of the game. The game should become more competitive now.
