twins nerf is coming good job

so there is the new "playstyle" with the twins. Hook a survivor, move for 5 meters, release victor, run with victor next to the hook, proxy camp till you get informations.

can you remember when pyramid head came out, everyone just camped the cage? now the same is happening with the twins.

but hey guys. dont complain when the nerf is comming because you, and your scummy gameplay is the reason.

have fun i guess.

  • Except that PH was and still is a lot stronger than the Twins. They need a buff.

    Source?

  • as far as im aware Victor doesnt reveal crouching survivors.

which means that its the same as with a Hag, you crouch towards the hook, kick the gremlin and THEN rescue. difference is, that you can actually destroy the "trap", so you can start running after the unhook without being punished, as its the case with Lisa.

Thats actually a good point to negate this "Twins are weak, so Killers have to camp"-BS some people bring up. PH was always stronger and still players camped.

It is an oversight from the Devs, this just happens if you give a Killer basically built-in Insidious.

But I am totally fine with Twin-Buffs, as long as they get rid of camping with them.

You sure? I'm pretty sure it is when a survivor moves killer instinct takes effect regardless of position as i haven't had a survivor do a save without killer instinct taking effect, unless i have literally never had a survivor crouch to a hook.

Killer Instinct triggers the moment survivors enter Victor's Shriek range. Survivors can easily not know Victor is nearby until they enter the shriek range in which case they've already been spotted unless they were crouching before hand.

Tbh their camping is easy to play around, I've done it few times myself, buy idk what they can do to prevent it, they already did with not being able to realease Victor x meters from the hooked survivor. I'm playing them a lot, almost all day everyday, but they really need some qol changes, too easy to play around them.

You also can't switch between them if you are too close to the hook. Which can lead to this situation where you can switch to Victor because he was already there before you hook the survivor, but can't switch back immediately because you are now too close to the hook.

Yes. Confirmed. Victor works on same concept as hag traps except it will detect a dying survivor crawling away. It does not detect crouch walking. I've tested this.
