What is wrong with trying to kobe? Many people do it just for fun because it is you know... funny to yeet yourself off the hook right as someone gets there. In fact, I have witnessed it and performed this many times and so far everyone was chill and goofy about it. "lmao that kobe was perfectly timed noice"

The fact that some people are so spiteful of this that they are willing to let the person on hook go into second stage or die is just plain stupid. You are harming the team more than they were and for what? To let them know that fun is illegal in DBD?

Its not millenial at all. People have been yelling KOBE for decades when they throw something, calling your shot, yes due to the Mamba, usually when the shot has little chance to go in.

Kobe-ing has your character reach over their head and attempt to throw themselves off the hook. KOBE. If anything, its the opposite of millenial, people been talking that since the 90s.

They way I see it is this... You tried to take points away from me in the game, survivor is already the crappier said to earn points.

You want to try and take my BP away, you can go to stage two. Is it petty? yup. Do I care? Nope.

Unhooking, plus more if safe unhook, is BP that you greedily tried to prevent me from getting. Now to be clear, if you try to kobe when I am on the other side of the map, I don't really care, but if I get all the way over to you and then you try taking my BP away... Enjoy stage 2.

Haha, usually when it's some slang that I don't understand, I assume "This is some 'I'm too old and don't get it' sort of thing, right?" I've never seen the term applied anywhere else, but then again I am also mostly very sports-dumb.
