Legendary Krampus skin feedback

I'll keep it short and simple: Why doesn't Krampus' mouth move? (same with Minotore)

  • 15 bucks for trapper cosmetic? Hell no.

Because both Oni and Trapper's models wasn't created to have facial expressions like other killer's models are, therefore their cosmetics won't have it either.

Same thing for other killers who by default you don't see face on but has cosmetics that can reveal their faces.

neither his body was designed to carry a bag with a little monster lurking and moving and throwing snow

  • Because that would require actual work. It's about just pumping out half baked cosmetics to bring in money, nothing more.

Honestly, it looks kinda silly anyways on most maps. I mean you are walking around on like Dead Dog Saloon under the sun, across dry sand and dirt- with snow all over you lol. It looks so out of place.

If it had more work put into it I would. I like the idea a lot.

Same with the minotaur skin, I want them a LITTLE bit but not enough to actually justify their price. If they had just some more work put into them, both of them, I would buy them....

  • Bro you can't even see the skin, why you spending money on other peoples enjoyment.

And Oni's Minotaur skin has an open mouth but it never moves because he was never created to have one since he has a mask on by default, same thing for Legion and how all the member's faces never moves despite having them fully modeled underneath.

Creating an animation of some eyes sticking up from a basket (which isn't a model that's inside the basket) with snow particles coming off whenever the lid opens, is not the same as creating a full facial feature for an already existing character that wasn't designed to have it because by default their face is hidden behind a mask or let alone a cosmetic with facial movement for a character who's model isn't supported for such.

If we look at Killers like Plague, Deathslinger, Spirit and Clown, they all have facial features because they were designed from the start to be expressive which is why they don't have anything covering their faces by default, only exception being Freddy which i assume is due to technical limitation from back in the days like how Hillbilly & Wraith don't have faces that moves either.

If we look at Killers like Blight, Hag, Leatherface and Doctor, they all have some facial parts that's either animated or is jiggling, but it's only to the extend of the jaw or the jaw and the eyes because the rest of their face is either covered up by something or the rest of the face just isn't needed to move.

Had Trapper been designed without a mask by default, it might have been more likely. Also not to mention, Trapper is one of the first killers in the game alongside Wraith & Hillbilly from back in 2016 and as far as i know, their models haven't been updated since then on a technical level.

    Damn good explanation!

It’s sad to see the ‚counter arguments‘ are ‚they want our moneyz‘ and ‚they lazy‘..

the oni skin was rushed straight after the silent hill chapter with the first sets and legendary skin. They made clear their lazy rush with this answer

now almost 5 months after the onitaur skin they had a lot of time to prepare this seasonal skin, they created the actual movement of the little monster and added snow moving FX, but didnt bother on making sounds or animations for mouth and the entire himself lobby
