Vs Demi tips, please?
First time going against demi since I can remember, and I got mashed like a potato.
Any advice?
What're his weaknesses, and just as important, his strengths?

I personally find Demogorgon to be one of the weakest of the cast. The ones I see usually try to lunge at you during vaults or pallets. The stun from a failed pounce is enough to let you run another loop. Go up to the window like you're going to vault. If his mouth is open, then don't.
His strength isn't really that strong. It's his portals. You'll either see two strategies. The Demogorgon will either place the portals on generators, or next to generators.
If they're on generators, destroy them. Every time he opens his mouth he'll see you through killer instinct. You can't let him watch you do generators.
If they're off to the side a bit, the Demogorgon is using his portals for travel. Leave those up, but watch them when you do the gen. The Demogorgon only has a limited number of portals and if you finish the generator in that area and leave the portal up he's a lot weaker through the rest of the match. He has a teleport to the middle of nowhere. How exciting.
In a chase outside of the lunge he's just a normal killer. Do what you always do. Die, I mean, loop.
Straight lines bad. Always assume he’ll “Portal” back to a hook after he leaves it. Listen for the universal roar to know that he’s portalling, and know that it’ll be a while before he can Portal back, so break that hole.
Sometimes they Portal a short distance and run back to the first Portal while undetectable to catch you breaking, so use your eyes.
The demi I played was obviously going for achievement, but all these are good tips.
I wonder how long until I can vs him again.
Your second example is exactly what happened. Slid off the side of car and still got me with pounce.
Can he side swipe windows with pounce?
A really good Demo can be pretty oppressive in a chase. If you find that one is very good with the pounce ability, be on the safe side with pallets and don't be greedy. A good Demo will thread the needle at tiles for some crazy hits. Windows can be a death sentence. Sometimes it's better to just play the pallet side of jungle gyms/shack instead of animation locking yourself in a window vault. Killer shack is a free hit for a lot of good Demo players if they have the rat liver add on.
As for weaknesses, if you throw pallets early, Demo can be a pallet breaking artist who struggles to actually down people. The mobility aspect really depends on the player and their portal placement. Obvious portals get broken pretty easily. Some Demos will hide their portals and set redundant ones at key locations. Really depends. I guess Demo's main weakness is that they're good at a lot of stuff, but not outstanding in any one area.
Demi main here, most of the teams that I go up against that I struggle with aren't actually the ones that are really good in chase, sure it can cost you some time if they successfully bait a lunge from you but once you put a lot of time into demi that rarely happens. The teams that kill me are just the ones that do nothing but gens, if they're injured they will stay on a gen, or give their life for a gen, because what they're doing is taking advantage of in my opinion demi's greatest weakness, HE'S A LOUD BOI. Demi's constant screeching and teleportation sounds let survivors know when you are or are not in a chase, giving them a much better idea of when your occupied or not, it's basically diet OoO. Sticking to gens will slaughter all killers, but including the security of knowing that the killer is occupied since he's screeching across the map really sucks. In terms of chase you can try to bait lunges by faking window vaults or pallet drops, but if your facing more experienced demogorgons, most won't fall for it because of how often we see it.
He's not one of the weakest at all if you are good with shred.
He just doesn't excel at anything really like some of the higher tier killers do.
There is a benefit to this however; he has the most versatile kit in the entire game, that lets you explore almost every perk combination you can imagine. He's one of the most fun killers to experiment with.
Demogorgon is usually weak, however, unlike other killers, he benefits massively compared to them from perks. A good demo can keep Devour Hope alive pretty easily, and its usually GG from there. NOED + Infectious = an endgame build so deadly I usually let others go for gate first when i run into it. Any perks that grant undetectable work on him due to his lunge allowing him to close the gap before survivors realize hes there, and aura reading is kinda broken on him.
The best way to deal with a Demogorgon is:
Best way to think about his pounce is an extremely fast, high range lunge attack with extended recovery. If they can hit you with a normal melee in a situation they can hit with a lunge.
Extra extra, come and get yo' demi plays.
As someone who has played Demogorgon a fair bit, allow me to offer my 8 cents on the matter:
-THE DEMOGORGON-
'A GUIDE ON HOW TO FIGHT A LITERAL MONSTER'
The Demogorgon is a very potent Killer for his jack-of-all-trades playstyle. He isn't the greatest in a chase, nor is he the best defender of totems and/or generators, but a skilled Demogorgon is capable of tackling both at the same time and juggling priorities to ensure that you lose in the end.
The Demogorgon, being a jack-of-all-trades, is quite flexible, and benefits from a wide variety of perks and playstyles, but for this particular guide, I'll walk you through the two "primary" playstyles, which often mingle together.
Style A- THE CHASER
Demogorgons who fall under the Chaser distinction have a perk build probably centered around hunting Survivors quickly and efficiently. Generally, your strategy will be to pound out thr generators ASAP, but if they engage you in a chase, be ready for them to Shred you at any possible moment. A common trick more famously abused by Pyramid Head players is to channel Of The Abyss for a brief moment, and then release it in order to trick their target into trying to get fancy with their dodging so they can catch up, or to bait them into leaving the vault point for an easy smack to the derrier.
Your primary method for fighting chasers will be to drop pallets early and be wary of any stray portals you see laying about. Chasers often set them up in obtuse spots to get around the map faster, but usually don't bother caring beyond making a mental note of your location if they are cleansed.
Style B- THE GUARD DOG
Guard Dogs play almost entirely opposite to Chasers, where instead of hunting Survivors constantly, they lay a network of portals to get to and from their 3 or 4-gen complex with ease. Common tactics include constantly channeling Of The Abyss to get a layout of which generators and portals are being tampered with, and keeping a spare portal at each member of the 3-gen setup to truly mess with those who attempt to cleanse. If you're up against a Guard Dog, your best bet is to coordinate with your fellows and do multiple generators at once, as the Demogorgon can only chase off one Survivor at a time, and a Guard Dog will rarely veer too far from the generators to chase you down unless they know they can secure the kill quickly. Their strategy is about wearing down your patience until you make stupid plays, so don't fall for it.
If the Demogorgon you face combines aspects of both playstyles, be on the lookout for everything mentioned above. As for how perks go, a Demogorgon can utilize just about anythig and everything to cover their bases, since almost everything works to their advantage in some way.
Heck, even Insidious has a spot on their roster.
Against a master one i think there is nothing but gun rush
Demo*
That'll be your only Demo game for a long time, nobody ever plays him because pyramid head does it better, except his secondary ability is slightly worse than Demo's portals imo. But you play against these two in similar ways, the key differences being Demo obviously can't hit you through pallets or walls, and his shred is much faster. He's also worse at zoning with his power because he's slower than survivors while charging shred (unless you run rat liver), and PP Head is 110.
Don't get defensive striked, remember to insult Alex-
Oh you mean Demo, got it.
hes not that strong comparatively the main thing is listening and looking he is probably the easiest killer to see and tied with nurse for loudest what with his galloping walking sound being as noticeable as a nurse shrike.
dont waste too much time sealing portals unless they are right under you.
what for the face open and evade his shred accordingly
Really, gow you handle Demo depends on his playstyle.
There are two primary Demogorgon types I see: The Chaser, and the Guard Dog.
The Chaser lives for the chase, and is probably running perks to help with that. They often bait their Shred attempts to get you to do some dodgy shenanigans and slow down.
The Guard Dog sets up a network of portals around generators, and watches over them with everything they've got. They will often employ chase tactics similar to the Chaser, but their strategy is much more reserved, focusing instead on the security of their portal network.
