Do licensed characters have more powerful perks?
Just a thought, but it kinda seems as if licensed characters bring some of the most powerful perks into the game. Not all three per character, but still.

both sides have a decent perk or so like leatherface has bbq, lori has d-strike. aside from that i don't think any of the others are super great.
The Demogorgon says no, all of his perks are mid at best.
Nope, maybe if you look at Laurie (DS, maybe OoO) and Bill (Unbreakable, BT) but then you have Quentin and Ash and Steve... and you get Meg as original, plus other Meta perks like David’s Dead Hard or Jakes Iron will.
this is actually pretty balanced (only listing surv perks because I can’t remember most of Killer perk names...)
They tend to have middling to good perks. But some of them are outright trash. But you do need to get a lot of the DLC killers to get the best meta perks.
I mean, sure Laurie has DS and OoO, and Nancy with Inner Strenght (and even fixated if you like that).
But then you have Ash and Steve, with VERY situational perks.
Same goes for killer, Leatherface has BBQ and then you have Demogorgon. It's...pretty even I would say.
I would argue that The Plague has the best set of three perks and shes an original killer
Plague- CI
Clown- Pop
Hag- Ruin
Base- Whispers, NOED
Blight- Undying
Nurse- Stridor

Bill is free, gives you BT and UB
Meg gives you Sprint Burst and Adrenaline, is free
Jake gives you Iron Will, is free
Clown is original, PGTW
Hag is original, Ruin
Blight is original, Undying

No, this isn't the case at all.
Also Steve exists, nobody uses his perks.
I'd actually say the opposite- original characters tend to get stronger perks.
Only Liscensed Killer with an uber good perk is Bubba imho. (I would also argue that Piggy has a pretty solid perk set up, but not everyone likes Surveillance or Make Your Choice.)
On the other hand, original killers have pretty much all the major killer meta perks, or they're already free. (Undying, Ruin, Pop, Corrupt, Tinkerer, Sloppy, Thana, Infectious, NOED, etc)
On Survivor Side, you could argue that liscensed survivors do have stronger perks, but it's back and forth based on perspective. For example, yes, DS and UB are strong- just like BT. But OoO isn't strong unless you're good at chase or you're in a coordinated SWF.
Imho I think that both liscensed and original killer and survivor perks tend to be great. Obviously some are better then others, but there are a lot of perks on both sides people sleep on. (I'm All Ears, Make Your Choice , Inner Strength, and Flip-Flop are the ones that come to mind for me.)
