There plenty of other Hex perks to choose from or is Devour hope the only one you use?
Not the best combo, though if Devour Hope never gets 3 stacks it at least means survivors had to put some time in cleansing totems. But if the stacks wouldn't be removed from Devour Hope, then that combination would be beyond broken.
If undying allowed dh to keep it's 3 stacks every killer would run it. The moment you get 3 it'll stay up until they get all dull totems or they find undying.
