Key is officially more brain dead than mori

Yup, I'm talking about the new offering.

Now you can literally be a locker dwight the whole game, do absolutely 0 objectives,

and still escape, because you know where the hatch is.

Both mori and key are unfair, but at least mori require killer to hook ppl.

and key used to require you to FIND THE HATCH

but nope, why do survivor even need to find it? just give them a common offering to control hatch spawn

Good Job.

Edit:

it removes an entire game mechanics - finding the hatch,

hence the title: Brain Dead,

I guess no one read the title and all came here thinking im talking about key is more op than mori.

  • left behind + key has been in the game for a while now.

  • You need to do gens to get the hatch to spawn. If you sit in a locker the whole match then you probably won't get enough gens.

And killers also see the offering too. If you ask me, then this offering is much more useful to the killer.

And lastly, no. Moris are way more powerful than keys.

  • Why is this even a complaint? I mean if survivors are doing nothing you're guaranteed at least a 3k , it's not like all 4 survivors can jump in the hatch right at the beginning with no gens done

left behind only works when you are the last survivor, and take away 1 perk slot.

now a common offering can get your whole party out and completely stronger than a perk?

your argument just further proves why this is wrong

    No?

doing gen is not the only way a hatch spawn.

But if they aren't doing it by getting gens done then that means you're killing them again how is this a complaint? The hatch only spawns through gens or by survivors dying , there is no magical button to spawn hatch earlier than intended

Well yeah, the only other situation is when you kill a third survivor. Then you can just go straight to the hatch after you hook the third person, no?

and then what, you know where the hatch it, close it, and he still open it with a key?

who gives a fk if the killer saw the offering and know where the hatch is when theres a key.

or you want to camp the hatch? they just open the gate.

Yeah, and? That is how it worked even without the new offering.

The difference is that if the offering is used, you, as a killer are also aware where the hatch is. Without it, the survivor may be the first one there and not even have to use the key.

Keys and moris are busted. But don't tell me the new offerings help survivors, because in truth they actually help killers.

There's no point to discussing basic logic with this person just let them DC or dodge like everyone else who cries about it

  • if the game gets to the point where 3-4 survivors get a hatch win, you probably already lost by that point

moris can be used with the most minimal of work

The difference is it removes an entire game mechanics - finding the hatch,

    hence the title: Brain Dead,

or did you not read the title coming here thinking im talking about key is more op than mori?

4? Sure. 3? Definitely not from my experiences.

    Ok. One last time.

Knowing where the hatch is always benefits the killer more than the survivor. If this offering is used, you can predict where the hatch will spawn. If you think a survivor with a key is going to camp the area, you can just slug - and because you know exactly where the hatch will spawn then you go there and that's very good, right? Without the offering, you can't know where the survivor with the key is hanging around.

If the last survivor has a key and the hatch is closed, then that's a free escape for him anyway, because you need to patrol the gates. Play doctor or run whispers if you get annoyed by these things.

No one is talking about if the new offering is beneficial to killer or not,

this post is talking about dev made it more brain dead to use a key,

because you dont even need to find it.

On a 1vs1 situation, key is a free escape no matter what, but dev managed to make it even more effortless to use it

Oh really? What are other ways of spawning hatch?

If even two gens are done, the hatch won't spawn unless there is only one survivor left. Survivors have to do 3 gens for 2 survivors to escape thru hatch. Doing gens is the only way to spawn hatch while there is more than 1 survivor left. Survivors have to do way more work in order to use keys and get more than one person out. Killers just tunnel and get a survivor out of the game early game.

You literally just answered your own question #########?

a hatch spawn if all other surv died, even when theres 5 gens remaining.

where did the "while there is more than 1 survivor left" assumption come from???

which part of my post talked about it?
