Next chapter maybe a qol chapter?
I wouldn't mind if the devs didn't release a new killer and survivor for the next chapter.
But instead the next chapter they focused on on most if not all the bugs in this this game.
I think it will be a good idea to do so, for the game, for the ayers and as well as for the devs, cause that way they can more easily implement new stuff without to many bugs/clitches to come with.
This ofcourse is just an opinion of me and would love to hear your ideas about this as well as from the devs and commity managers.
Comments
Everybody would like this but the devs have already stated they have no plans for that.
Not to mention. They need money.
The choice is up to them ofcourse, tho this would make things more easy for them in the long run instead of trying to plaster fix everything.
Sure they need it, and they get it a lot from cosmetics and dlc.
And bring the game back up to a good level means more people might be starting to play it or jump back on it again.
So means more money in the long run again
lol this chapter is basically the QOL chapter.
Yeah did they fixed all or most of the bug/clitches in the game?
Did they optimise the console versions?
Sure you have an graphics update for 2 maps which is nice and all.
But I'm just talking about all those bugs and clitches not the graphics.
It’s a lost cause, people would still find bugs or glitches and will just complain as if nothing happened. They can’t guarantee a bug-free version, ever. There is also bugs that are hard to reproduce and that will only be noticed in the live version just like the downed survivors that don’t make sound, they thought they fixed it but it could still occur after their ‚fix‘. It didn’t matter how rare that bug was (I myself never experienced it once), people still complained and called the dev team incompetent.
I did have noticed that.
Sure there are always people complaining a lot.
But if they delayed a killer/survivor dlc, the team can get focus more on the bugs and clitches.
If they keep releasing dlc while trying to solve problems at the same time it makes it harder to fix.
Cause they might fix it but with the dlc it wasn't fixed and thus bringing it back into the game.
It's like I said, it makes it easier to solve problems and will improve for the long run.
For example take a look at rainbow six siege and operation health.
They focused on solving as much problems as possible that chapter/season.
And it did improve a lot and made it easier to solve future problems.
No game will ever fix "all" its glitches, but yes, the game is always being optimized and patched.
We don't need and will never get a whole "QOL chapter" just because console players don't understand that the issue with fixing optimization isn't because BVHR is just too busy pumping out chapters to do it.
I never said to expect all bugs and glitches to be gone.
The example I gave in a previous comment about R6s still applies in this situation.
They kept also pumping out new seasons and with it there came old and new bugs with it.
They decided to not bring out new maps and operators and focus on fixing as much as possible.
Which they did and look where they are now and how easier they can fix stuff now compared to what it was before.
It's something bhvr can do as well and making it easier for themselves for future updates/chapters/reworks etc
So what is the excuse for the promised optimization patch that we console players were supposed to get last year, but have nothing but silence on now? Because so far it really does seem that these mediocre killers and survivors are the priority over the 3 consoles they released their game to that need to be optimized. Our FPS is complete garbage at the best of times, but hey, as long as PC is happy I guess?
Would be nice and actually really necessary but will sadly never happen.
I'm afraid too and really think it is necessary.
In the long run it would benefit both parties.
Especially now they confirmed that they bring it to next gens.
So they plan to go on for more years to come which is good.
And also a good time to do it too
