Small PSA for forum members...

  1. If you see something in a post or comment that you don't agree with, don't feel obligated to respond to it. It's fine to have discussions, but arguing gets you nowhere (especially if it was written on a whim).
  2. The devs don't take the forums seriously enough to change the game. No matter how much you whine, no matter how many people whine, 99% of the time, nothing will happen. The devs decide on what needs to be changed by the game itself, not the forums. The forums is a place to discuss the game and anything related to it with eachother, NOT the devs (the more you guys argue, the devs will take it even less seriously).
  3. Not everyone plays the same. Stop trying to force your playstyle onto others.
  4. Everyone has flaws, stop trying to be "above everyone".
  5. Some people WILL disagree with you, understand that and don't throw a fit over it, you're just digging a deeper hole for yourself.

It isn't perfect, but nobody wants this forum to be a place of constant bashing and misery filled with unpleasant people that wants to ruin people's time.

Another helpful point is to post ACTUAL suggestions and constructive criticism to the Feedback and Suggestions forum, not the General Discussions... it might actually get looked at there!

Oh, and check the creations subforum from time to time. Some of the things posted there are actually quite nice.

"The devs don't take the forums seriously enough to change the game."

This is simply untrue. Just because they don't particularly respond or change something YOU want changed, doesn't mean they don't care. Everyone who has been on these forums long enough know that some things have changed, partly due to feedback straight from the forums. I say partly because this isn't the only platform they gather feedback from.

The problem is in that people seem to think whining (the act of acting like a little child and flat out spouting insults more than actual feedback ) will get them somewhere.

My golden rule is "think before you start typing." It's really quite simple.

I'm saying they CAN take it as a suggestion, but they will not absolutely put it in because the backing force was the forums. If most people on the forums say for example "reduce the Clown's reload time! It slows his potential down too much!" They will somewhat likely take note of it, but they will most likely not put it in the game if their stats show that it makes little difference (or at least not enough for a change).
