Would you say this is a dirty play style?
Right after the killer tunneled and killed me he dc’ed denying the others to open the gate and escape.

Not really they still get escape points all they lost was 500 points for opening gates now ofc it is scummy in any circumstance to dc it’s just not as bad I guess if it didn’t really ruin anyone’s game if it’s already over more just a waste of time on them with the penalties
That's not a playstyle, that's someone rage quitting. Quitting is literally the opposite of playing.
How much do you get when this happens as a survivor?.
Seems like they were salty for an unknown reason. Or maybe they had to leave? Not sure. I'd say that's a pretty stupid playstyle. Not only did they lose, they also got a DC penalty. So keep that in mind. The killer lost because he decided to waste time on being angry over the game and targeting you.
Wouldn’t call that a play style just an A-hole or B****. Their loss for wasting their own time And points and de ranking. I wish at least by that happening it would give the points for escaping and count it towards a challenge. It’s not such a large problem that it’s needed but would be a nice QOL change so that literally no downside is given to the survivors. Same with killer the points awarded for a dc is not equivalent to 3 hooks and should be so that the killer is not worried about depipping or only black popping because someone was selfish.
I've had games where I down someone or just hook someone and am running to the others or I'm repairing a gen/cleaning a totem/middle of a chase and my internet decided to disconnect. Sometimes it would happen late game too. Hasn't been an issue for me in a couple months now but it used to happen about once a week. They might be petty and might be trying to screw everyone else out of points but it could equally be a faulty connection, outdated drivers, issues with an internet provider, a game crash on their end, or some other technical problem. If you're really concerned just send a report and let BHVR work it out, or know they get a DC penalty for leaving the match, whether by their doing or a connection issue.
