They can't? Killers should be able to hit them eventually, a sprint meter would be an immense nerf which probably would also require killers to be made slower.

Well for one, if you were being chased by a crazed killer I don't think you'd stop :P

    You wont get tired?

  • A video game. (also technically "Exhaustion" is that)

  • Because even killers that are considered to be slow like Deahslinger walk faster with his broken leg than you sprint. It’s not Friday13 where the killer actually just walks after you and even the ones that can run are jogging at best.

  • Fun Fact: There is an unused game value for Fatigued Running (you can find it on the official wiki under "Movement Speeds"), so a stamina meter was planned, and later scrapped, as an early mechanic. Looks like much of this fatigue system was probably converted into the Exhaustion status effect (lots of similar functions and timers in place).

  • Because killers are already faster than survivors, so a sprint meter would be a redundant mechanic, and probably a game-breaking one.

  • We have exhaustion perks. Survivors can run 4m/s without getting tired in this realm. But if they use an exhaustion perk they get, well, exhausted.
