They've been saying for years that they'd love to have Jason in the game. It's just a matter of waiting until it's practically and/or legally an option.
Whats he doing there? Seems its just his way of saying "we really want to add him and will try and do so after the legal woes are over."
Yeah i just posted as some people think just because he has his own game it'll never happen was just posting showing the open invitation was put out there.
What he is doing is basically shooting his shot and letting it be known that behavior has a huge interest in jason thats a good sign meaning its a license they are really looking to obtain.
The important thing to note is that Friday the 13th is basically dead (beyond any maintenance and currently existing player base), so Jason is basically open season. I wouldn't say the same for, say, Predator.
He said the same in another Interview (quite long ago, dont know when). So it is basically an open secret that they would like to have Jason in the game.
Predator is basically dead as well tbh that game is not taking off like they thought it would but yeah as far as friday the 13th goes it wouldn't be a bad idea for them to license jason out to dbd once this is over i wouldn't be shocked either again money talks.
Yeah i think this time was going the extra mile to extend the invitation more once this is settled.
I mean that Friday the 13th is no longer having new content developed for it. Predator is still live competition for Dead By Daylight.
True but even if it were competition its not that big of a concern numbers speak volumes dbd is the king at the moment and its on all platforms i dont think you can really call anything competition to this game at the moment honestly.
I mean competition in the literal sense of it being a competing game of the same/similar genre. They're not going to license an IP that already has its own currently-active licensed game to a rival product. Friday the 13th is different because the devs have ceased development on that game, so adding Jason to F13 shouldn't cause issues in that regard.
