The Perfect Decisive Rework for both sides

Decisive Strike activates when a Survivor is unhooked and the Killer is within 32m of the hook. Everything else is the same.

Protects against camping and hard tunneling similar to a solo queue version of Borrowed Time, but has clear rules that allow the Killer to know when it is in play. Still useful, but it doesn't have leave the Killer guessing and doesn't punish them for having fast-paced games.

  • I would be happy if the killer was able to just drop the survivor if pulled out from a locker.

  • So the killer can just quit chase and run back to the unhooked survivor like what killers already do when Make Your Choice is active.

This isn't a good compromise, the killer will easily stay the distance away and just run back to the same survivor.

It happens a lot with Make Your Choice and Devour Hope.

Thats what make you choice is made for.

But Make Your Choice and Devour Hope are both relatively balanced perks... I don't think anyone would consider them overpowered or particularly weak.

Yea I'd be fine with this.

  • No thanks! The killer would just wait until the survivor is unhooked and then go back to tunnel the survivor. DS would be useless.

  • About the only thing I agree with on decisive strike is that 60 seconds is a bit long. Especially if the survivor heals to full or works on gens. I think doing either of those things should turn decisive strike off. If you got time to heal or work on gens then you aren't being tunneled.
