PTB Result
So from some of my friends playing PC they summed up the PTB for the new map designs. Survivors throwing matches, killing themselves after first hook. Killers quote 'Taking the piss' using Mori's, NOED and Blood Warden because of new EGC mechanics and what not. Like to be fair, its PTB, who uses mori's. Same as survivors bring keys. Either way, seems a good idea has just been implemented inconsiderately, not catering for all factors. Hopefully they will learn from this and make it so that survivors can feel like they can do something to survive against a killer.
Like I mentioned before which I hope it doesn't happen. Seems an imbalanced survivor powered game is turning in an unbalanced killer sided. Not taking sides here, just want a balance where both can feel like they can do their job without something dragging them down

yes after 4 hours we have ptb results in a hand full of people have the pulse of the game 100% correct in a very short time. gotta love it... give it time to work and people to get used to the new stuff and then talk to us.
I said I dont have all details, this is what it's like in the first 4 hours which isnt a good sign. Stop assuming this is a full detailed analysis, never said it was xD
PTB RESULT as your title then is misleading "MY" PTB RESULT would be more accurate. and your description and your response is that you don't expect it to change. well you know if you don't act to change it and just post here then there is nothing to be gotten from this thread. it says to me hey I need more blood points because my characters aren't in the shape i want them in so i'll get in and do a few matches, get out quickly without wasting items thus what you are seeing here. you came here expecting people to read your post saying it's doom and gloom because of the first 4 hours, hell hey i want to play on map X I didn't get it so I'll just get out till I get it to try and get the one I want is another possible answer to why it's "doom and gloom in the first 4 hours"
Let's face it. Survivors power comes from their loops and god windows. Now that they're being rearranged and changed, that said power has been lowered. So, survivors who relied solely on said loops/windows are now finding that they're having more trouble against average killers and this is a good sign imo. It's showing that now killers actually have some ability to actually slow games down instead of praying to the entity that a gen or 2 doesn't pop in the first marathon across the map. Of course, killers might have too much power from all this, hence it's a PTB and not live, so if they do have too much, at least it can be changed. But, we should also wait longer than a day before making any judgement calls on all of this.
1) the PTB has been online for 4 hours when you posted this. that is not even nearly enough time to determine whether the changes were good or bad.
2) as you said yourself you havent even played it, yet you jump to the conclusion that it is "bad", because some friends of yours didnt like it?

maybe we could actually let the PTB start properly before jumping to such conclusions? also, how comes that you are the one on the forums complaining about the PTB being bad, when you havent even played it yet? why are you doing this and not your friends who have, according to you, played it themselves?
thats exactly the kind of behavior that got old Freddy nerfed back in the day. people immediately jumping to conclusions about something they havent even experienced yet / they had no time to adapt to and learn.
Does it really matter what the PTB results are? The Devs made almost no changes after the last PTB happened.
That's sorta how PTBs usually go, especially early on before it's mostly the people trying out/enjoying the new content that stays on the PTB instead of going back to live. People not really caring and disconnecting a lot, using the strong items/addons/offerings they're hoarding on the live servers, that sort of thing.
Give it some time and more and more people will probably finish having their "fun" and there might be more people genuinely interested in giving the changes a good try.
you never know what will happen. they delayed the chapter patch a week for that reason PLUS trying to get them into a window of two weeks after ptb before in case there are needed changes. what you or I see as a needed change may not be what the devs see as a needed change, and assuming they make no changes from the ptb is a fallacy that makes assume it's moniker "make an ass out of u and me" so dont' assume nothing changes, there was a change where the ptb came out and it was up then down and they changed things then the PTB went back out. I want to say that was freddy's re-work, but still if you don't participate in the PTB because you think your information doesn't count you just lost your right to complain. why? because you had a chance to tell them what you found wrong.
