Frustration for new killers

So i recently made a new post about your own personall flaws and i noticed something

A lot (and i mean a lot) of killers have a lot of trouble with 360. Myself included

It's not as bad as it was before but i remember when i started it was the most frustrating part of the game.

So ruin was changed because it was frustrating for new players, which i personly stand behind. It was a annoying perk

But if we are going to focus on the fun of less experienced players. Will something be done about this mechanic that honestly is only used to bully less experienced killers?

Probably sounds like a joke post but if i remember how frustrating it was for me in the past and see how quite a few people have trouble with it. I'm actually serious

  • This is exactly no issue IF the MM would work as intended. Because new Survivors dont 360. And 360s are not really useful anyway, every experienced Killer can land a hit on them and sometimes Survivors decide to 360 instead of just going to the Pallet. Because, you know, when it is in a Youtube-Video, it is good!

But, what I noticed: Sometimes Survivors are insanely fast during a 360. They are doing a 360, but the turning looks really odd.

There is 2 ways of doing a regular one,one method is faster

  • I do hope they make it so 360ing isn't possible. Like moonwalking, it's just not something that should be in the game. It's basically exploiting the first person view of the killer.

  • Yeah it's easy to do on console once you know how, it doesn't help that our framerate is unstable af.

  • I dont think that that isnt that big of a problem compared to genspeed matchmaking or loops. When a friend of mine played his first killer games and I watched him. He had 2 legacy survivors with flashlights that bullied the ######### out of him when he played the first game in his life as trapper and killer overall and then wrote in the postgame "ez baby killer".

That was honestly really sad to watch. How decent survivors have to build up their confidence to noobs that just learn the game. Anyway after watching a few games he noticed to that especially on old maps the most loops are too big and open. And he was complaining about genspeed since he had only brutal streangh on level 2 and bitter murmur 1. The gens were mostly done in 5-7min... even on rank 20!

But the survivors were all new aswell except the "pro" legacy players there. They all had 20-100 hours and still tried to genrush. He was extremly frustrated from the gen speed and didn't know what he should do against that. Ofc he had ALOT to improve but when games go by in 5min and you have to look for a lobby for 20 min thats not fun at all....

  • ya, the juking is definitely a learning thing. Also, knowing when a survivor is mind gaming you. These are all learning curves.

  • 360ing wouldn't work so well if the sound in this game was working correctly. Before, when the survivor disappeared from your field of view, you could hear their footsteps and just move your camera towards them. But now that you can't hear survivors anymore, they can just disappear and run away with no telltale for the killer whatsoever.

  • Dont take away 360.. its something else than running in a straight line, and it requires practise and timing.. even when it's against a new killer..

Dont dumb this game too much down, please.

  • Note for me personly they don't need to go anymore. For the most part i can deal with them.

But if i had to think back to when i started 360 were the most frustrating thing to happen to me. And that was in the time of insta-blinds and pallet vacuum

The fact that i was able to catch a survivor in the open and still not get them because of a fancy twirl was infuriating

It also didn't help that there were no guides on what to do against them. Go on youtube and you'll find tons of video's on how to do them but none on how to deal with them

I actually don't know how i can hit them. If a new player asked me how to deal with them i would have no answer except not lunging.
