wow, this combo is too strong. the killer has the whole map in overview with those 2 perks. surveillance should not be activated through ruin effect

    Now imagine killers with lesser mobility like Huntress, especially on large maps like Temple of Purgation trying to keep survivors off all the gens, when they don't even have to worry about skill checks now. That's even assuming your totem is not gone within the first minute.

    Only works when ruin is up.. and you know how it usually spawn, besides the gen

    Yes. This combo works and is very powerful, and the survivors can only suspect the use of Surveillance.

    This possibility will justify destroying Ruin as soon as possible, systematically. Finally, nothing really changes. Ruin, even when used alone, will be greatly feared.

    As a killer you can usually guess which generator they're working on anyways... Surveillance makes it so you can see which gen exactly. Enlighten me, what are you going to do about 2-4 gens turning yellow? Knowing which gen they're working on hardly matters if you can't do anything about it. As the devs pointed out themselves, Ruin is now a "late game" perk and could be useful for a 3 gen strat, but by then it's most likely already gone. And Surveillance on its own is good enough for a 3 gen strat anyways. No point in wasting another perk slot.

    Are you serious? Truetalent used this combination an thrilling tremors an still lost... not even close just to having old ruin
