Just realised, the devs want to bring every survivor into red ranks
New rank reset system, now potatoes don't even have to struggle with ruin anymore, they just can pump gens without any skill... I swear, solo Q is dead. EVERY SURVIVOR will be in red ranks, but only the really good killers will be red ranks aswell. What will this lead to: even more frustration for solo survivors.
BHVR, you are killing dbd more and more. Don't you realise that? Stop it already!! Just stop. Don't touch anything. I rather deal with DbD how it is now than dealing with it in a even worse state. And it's already impressive to make it even worse as it already is.
Just stop. Hire tofu, Scott or whatever, they will fix your game.

I was starting to think that the recent ruin change has something to do with how the new ranking system works.
Rank will be hidden anyway...
Just doing gens won't get you a pip. You need safe hook rescues and heals as well a good chase with the killer.
Instead of balancing for the high ranks better it seems to be they just want to shove more people into the red ranks that shouldn't be there to pseudo cover up the balance problems because now we'll get less matches against the actual red rank survivors and more against the ones that aren't. Then we can post statistics from these incorrect matches that show red rank balancing is fine after it's been skewed. Not to mention it just covers up the unbalanced experience for the killers there in the first place.
Unless they fix all this and in that case I take this back. However we have not seen this addressed as of yet and we haven't seen any fixes that would remedy this in the upcoming patch notes.
They should just remove ranks at this point tbh.
