Imagine for a second that in real life you were stabbed(God forbid) and you run in circles around the house so as not to bleed and wait for an ambulance🙃

    People were RARELY getting downed by Deep Wound already. Beating a dead horse is not a crime.

    I know this change is hard, but remember that stabbed running people can't stop to do other things, like fixing generators, for example.

    Ah yes, because naturally after getting hit by a chainsaw i would just fall down.

    Or someone looking at you could make you feel more defenseless.

    We shouldn't take everything in dbd as a potential reality. Cause there's no point. Some stuff is just done for balancing porpouses.

    A blow from a chainsaw will not tear you in half, as you imagine. Rather, there will simply be a deep laceration on the back and that’s all. No more. Which, in principle, is shown in the game. Even if you are struck with a jerk with a chainsaw, you will simply fall to the ground from the blow and will bleed from a lacerated wound. And if you are stabbed in the stomach and hurt a vein or artery, you will bleed faster than you have time to take 10 steps. Lol.
