I have the simplest solution guys....... don’t DC Ik it sounds crazy but it’s a really effective idea to not get DC bans. Just take the loss and move on don’t get upset because you lost, learn from them.
-
When I play survivor usually we dominate the poor killer because they’re only a green or purple rank going against red ranks and that’s not fair first of all so gens fly and when I play killer I’m constantly having to juggle because I commit to a chase for too long gens will fly but I haven’t had much of a problem with that since I’m a pretty good doc.
-
There’s needs to be an Abandon ban timer like rainbow has, 30 minute ban if you DC and if you keep doing it you should get a maximum of a day ban, this will encourage people to just kill themselves on hook only hurting themselves and not the killer
-
With ruin being gone now most killers are now unplayable because they don’t apply enough pressure, hag really doesn’t put pressure on the survivors because in order for her to be effective she has to have her traps down which means time wasted deploying traps. I mostly have been playing doc and I absolutely love him and I have been slaughtering SWF teams at rank 1 and I love getting angry messages lol but anyways to me only doc,Freddy, wraith/ghost face, spirit, and sometimes nurse are the only viable killers now due to ruin being gone

playing killer is really stressful and it’s always been stressful because you never know when you’re gonna get a super sweaty SWF team, with no ruin now games fly playing with or against good survivors. Most killers don’t even touch the field anymore because they’re not good enough ruin was their saving grace but yk the devs want to make sure that new people have fun which is fine but if you’re gonna do that you need to make two different game modes kinda like casual and ranked like rainbow, casual will have newer player rules while ranked has skilled player rules, soon there are gonna be no more good killers and the game is going to die because personally I don’t like easy games as a survivor I want a challenge to see how well i can loop, I feel so bad beating up a poor bubba like I wish the devs would see that the survivors have the advantage over killers but they won’t because they believe killers shook only get 2 kills per game but killers don’t pip off 2 kills they pip off 3-4 kills. I’ve been seeing a lot of NOED lately and I understand when gens fly within 6 minutes there’s nothing a killer can do

So everyone knows about the trick to getting past Trapper's traps just by dead harding over them. Not only is this unfair, it literally makes no logical sense. It is unfair because a survivor basically can completely ignore a trap & extend the chase they were just in. Trapper gets screwed because then he either has to take time to pick up his trap or has to find a different route to continue chase. Not only that, it would be physically impossible in real life to do this to a real bear trap. Dead hard is a dash forward, not a jump, so it doesn't make sense how they wouldn't still get trapped.
I know the ability grants a brief period of immunity to the survivor, but honestly that in itself is so stupid. In general, dead hard shouldn't even negate attacks as it makes zero sense. There are times where you go to hit a survivor & they dead hard either into you or through the area you're hitting at but dead hard trumps the attack registering. I get that is kinda the point of the perk, but in a real situation like this that would never be the case. Dash all you want, if you get hit with a weapon you're gonna get hit lol. Point of this thread is just that dead hard is a far-fetched perk concept.
P.S. I'm not saying Dead Hard is OP by any means. I kinda think it's crap because I just wait out everyone's dead hard anyways. The perk should be just about either trying to make the killer whiff or to reach a pallet/window faster in order to avoid being hit. There shouldn't be an invincibility factor to it that isn't logically correct.
There is nothing wrong with dead hard, if it didn’t negate the attack dead hard would by far be the worst exhaustion perk in the game

Why do you let it bother you? Turn the end game chat off or deal with it and report.
It bothers people because survivors act super toxic when the killer doesn’t play the way they want them to play, killers are just supposed to let the survivors have a fun and easy match and then end chat survivors day EZ baby killer like I’ve never had a killer be toxic on their own they’re always fueled by survivor toxicity
-
Sometimes it’s fun but not all the times because of certain maps or cocky SWF groups

So they’re toxic and unfair, but you still won? What’s your question?
The question is why are they so toxic like why can’t they just take a loss I’m pretty sure they win almost all of their matches because SWF is easy with no downfalls

DBD should stop adding DLC and rework the game play as a whole. Look at what they did as band aid to Gen.
- Start with Nurse Thanaphobia
- Hag came with Hex system: Ruin to force Survivor do totems and slow down
- Clown Pop goes weasel with 25% Gen regression
- Freddy dream mechanic
I even think that DBD should make DBD2 with improvement on game play mechanic without mistake they did on this game (at least with face camp, tunneling, gen rush)
That could be an idea or just totally rework the game and have downtime for a couple of days

So, not only get the best Killers (Red Ranks) more time than the worst Killers (brown Ranks), but also the "Reward" for Ranking up as Survivor is to spend more time on the most boring thing you can do as Survivor?
Yeah, I totally dont see any reason why people would not just derank then.
Well people can depip but then they’re playing baby killers which isn’t fun

Yeah cant make gen times any longer because it is boring as is.
It is boring I will say but something has to be done.

I think we can all agree that genrush is only a problem when facing coordinated swf groups with all the tasty perks equipped. There is one easy solution to that. Let's finally nerf SWF! And there are some good options of how to do that, imho. For example - as a swf group you would be allowed to equip just one of each perks. I mean 1 self care per team, one DS, one BT...that would be an elegant nerf to swf (no clickbait) and it would also help against genrush a lot. If you are able to the gens quickly as solo players, kudos to you, you deserve to win..but swf groups are destroying the balance of the game. We all know it. If there was no swf I think that the balance of the game would be pretty good as it is now. But there has to be swf, I agree....so why not at least try to balance it just a little bit? :)
I would rather change the overall gen speed depending on your lobby. Brown, yellow, and green ranks have the basic 80 second gen speed while purple ranks have 90 or 95 second gen speed, and red ranks have a 100 or 110 second gen speed, this will make gen rushing a lot harder while giving the killer more time to perform, for instance trapper can’t even trap off 2 jungle gyms before a gen or two pop in red ranks (even with ruin). So the longer reparation time will all together make the game more fair. What if there’s only 1 red rank and 3 yellow rank survivors in a lobby, well because of that red rank the gen speed will be equivalent to red rank speed, this will make boosting harder because now all the gens take longer and chances are those yellow ranks don’t do gens, overall making survivor harder. Killer ranks will not affect survivor gen times which means a red rank killer can go against green rank survivors and they’d still have the 80 second gen time. But this is just a thought, and would have to be ran in PTB servers to see if this could work.

Got this one tonight that kinda just made me giggle. Figured Id share with everyone. After downing them all over the map, by the time it got to the later part of the game I realized they completely 3 genned themselves. Lucky for them, keys to the rescue I guess, lol. I got my BBQ stacks so i'll take it as a win. Got this for an endgame chat message though. APPARENTLY I was suppose to walk away from the gens and go to the half of the map that didnt have anything to protect... I guess I'm a gen camper now.
Always remember as killer we’re supposed to help the survivors win and let our selves lose, it states that somewhere in the guide of being a ######### SWF player handbook.

XBOX, red rank for killer, P3 Lvl 50 Trapper against a red ranks 3 man SWF and 1 solo red rank survivor. Agitation, Iron Grasp, Nurses Calling and NOED, addon that hurts someone when they dissarm a trap and addon that obscures my traps.
I brought in an ebony memento mori, don't get me wrong, I do the moris ONLY instead of death hook, no tunneling, no camping, the only reason I'll early mori you is if you dare to teabag me.
I down the first guy in less than 30 seconds into the game, he DCs... I think "ok, I'm gonna let them do 1 free of chase gen". It pops and the game is on. I hook 2 of the 3 remaining guys 2 times (means next hook is death hook) and MULTIPLE times I spotted them with Nurses but decided to let them heal and go try to find someone else. The 3rd guy was lucky enough never to be found by me in all that time except when he was a healer but I decided to leave them alone.
The 4th gen pops and I decide to do the "Trapped exit gates" strategy whyle I let them fix the last gen cause I belive the end game hunt is really fun to do. I down an ALREADY INJURED player and mori him instead of death hook, the 5th gen gets done whyle doing the mori. The survivor who hasn't been hooked all game steps into one of my exit gate's traps (no NOED down) and I proceed to hook him (1st hook for him). The other remaining survivor steps on another of my traps and boom, game over for them. I mori this last guy instead of the death hook and the David died on 1st hook.
POST GAME MESSAGES:
David: "It's amazing how lowlife noob killers need Ebony to get a kill from a 3 man SWF, imagine if it had been 4 of us"
Me: "I did the moris instead of Death hook, I found survivors with nurses and decided to go away, I gave you a free of chase gen after the DC, I dropped off 4 chases to let you guys have a chance because of the DC... And I was a lowlife noob killer...? Why the toxicity against a nice person who just fairly outplayed you...?"
David: "Ok, I'll give you that one, but why the NOED? You noob killers need an insurance policy? LMAO"
Me: "Dude, I didn't even get to use it... You both last two survivors stepped into my traps at the end game... Nice try though... I guess the Ebony argument didn't work and you needed a better one..."
David: "Stop trying to justify why you use noob tactics to win, LMFAO"
Me: "I'm not gonna argue man, I was nice to y'all, I don't need to stand this... GG"
David: "No GGs against a noob killer"
Damn... second time I regret being nice to pleople...
survivor mains get so salty when they lose, I personally just ignore them because they just want you to feed into their ignorance. There’s nothing wrong with what you did and NOED didn’t even play a part so idk he brought that up

A 50% kill rate would be balanced. Meaning half your games are 4ks, half are 0k. Or, 2ks per game. Instead not a single killer is at 50%. All are above 60. And the highest, most complained about killers are in the 75% range. Is this not crystal clear now why survivors complain about OP killers? And now imagine if we had detail that showed 4 solos vs 4 man swfs. I’d reckon it looks even worse for solos. Probably 80-85% or worse. This game is heavily skewed toward killers.
75%!! This is a full 25% higher than it should be. And people wonder why survivors like to derank... it’s because the game is more balanced when higher level survivors play lower level killers. Thanks for releasing these stats Behaviour. I’m vindicated.
most of those stats probably come from brown, yellow, green, and purple ranks. If you play trapper against rank 1s chances are you’ll be gen rushed before you even get set up, the point is most killers can’t play in red ranks because their power isn’t good enough. Spirit and nurse are most common in red ranks because they’re very good and can travel the map quickly which is why their win percentages are higher than the rest. This game heavily towards survivors, think about a 4 man SWF team, they have no debuffs being a 4 man, they’re all buffs. A killer is by themselves if they mess up a chase that’s wasted time and they have no one to rely on go fix their mistakes while survivors do.
