  • For those saying Bhvr is "favoring Killers with cakes" I need you to LOCK IN.

Killers have ALWAYS gotten more cakes in their bloodwebs! Even back in 2024 (the last good cake year) Survivors averaged 30 cakes in one Prestige to Killers average of 60 in on Prestige. It's NOT because of favoritism, it's because Killers have less items in their bloodwebs, which allows the cakes to appear more.

STOP making this an "us vs them" argument and focus on the actual devs of the game who made the drop rate across both sides abysmal.

The issue is Behavior being disrespectful of players time. Full stop. There's zero good reasons why the cakes were moved from Common to Very Rare rarity. It's only going to have negative impacts. It's going to kill player morale and playtime. I've yet to see a single person defending this change.

My core group of friends that play DBD usually make a big thing of the anniversary. We take off work and we grind. We all stopped playing the anniversary already today. Less than 3 hours grinding today, a day which we all cleared our schedules to specifically grind because Behavior made the grind unrewarding. 2 years ago I got three times the amount of cakes for the same time played.

It's a shame too because I really like The Black Banquet mechanics and I absolutely adore Shane. But with the cakes at their current drop rate, it cheapens the anniversary overall. It feels like an F you from the devs and makes me want to go play something else.

  • Someone on reddit said that Behavior is acting like they have to bake each cake individually.

I still have my spreadsheet from the 2024 anniversary event. On average on Survivor one would get 30 cakes per single prestige. Killer roughly double that.

They nerfed it last year but I'd take last year's rate over this years! 3-5 cakes per single prestige is genuinely abysmal.

This is the 10th anniversary! We should be celebrating, players LOVE grinding for cakes during the anniversary. Anniversary cake hoarding is what makes the slow times during the year more bearable to play. I felt the cake nerf last year was disrespectful to my time playing, and I stopped playing for months once they doubled down and said they weren't changing the drop rate.

If they once again refuse to increase the drop rate for anniversary cakes, i might be done entirely. The real world economy sucks. Why does a made up economy in a video game have to suck too? Players grinding and hoarding cakes to use throughout the year only increases player morale. Like I said, the real world economy sucks. I have to work more irl to barely stay afloat as is. I refuse to play this game 3x as much just to earn the same amount of cakes i earned just two years ago. One, I do not have the time, and two, I refuse to give my time, energy, and money to a company that I feel is disrespecting that limited time I do have.

I loved that you shared there here AND on Reddit, so you could make sure we had visibility on it! We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such detailed feedback about it.

    Thank you again!

Ive seen two of your posts about items and i would like to say these are fantastic ideas

Thank you! I purposely created a forums account to to share them. The inventory in game drives me a little crazy lol

  • Negan is coming to the Fog but as a Survivor.

Considering Negan's story arc in TWD and Dead City, I highly doubt they ever considered bringing him into the Fog as a Killer.

I'd love my survivors inventories shared, I don't wanna hear "it stops you having a reason to play other survivors" when literally legendaries exist….

SO there isn't really a reason to keep items from each of them, heck I'd even go as far to say killer offerings should also be shared, like why the heck not.

People will play whichever Survivors they want to play so that argument ahs never held water for me. Also I feel like inventory only effects that so much because people will prioritize putting bp on their main(s).

I'm hundred percent on Killer Inventories being shared too! Outside of their addons, there is no reason for their inventories to be individualized.
