Wait, what? Jill is fat?
This is fat ?
Look at her face... come on... she's a freakin' balloon.
-
Thanato, Pentimento, Call of Brine... yet, you don't need a brain to play killer because of the massive increase of time needed in order to repair all the gens: if you put some regressing perks, got buffed too... i don't even need to continue...
-
Did you see how fat is Jill Valentine? Probably the entity's realm is cursed enough to change people inside and even outside.

Why not? Welp, if you're starting playing killer or you can't play DBD without losing a game because you can only have fun when winning, just play Nurse now.
She's OP asf, needs poor practice and with 6.1.0 patch came out, you have all the time you want... you can also afford to camp so...
-
Don't worry: I got so many entitled SWF in my team not caring 'bout that and now that 6.1.0 came out It's absolutely impossible to win a 3-gen game when they are close each other.
But they didn't understand it yet.

Adjusting trap's hit-box and that's it.
Change my mind.

Every game I lose as survivor, I see multiple teammates running bad perks. We don't live in the era of DBD where survivors can run whatever perks they want and still do alright anymore, and killers who aren't high tier have to stack slowdowns to win.
The roles have reversed. If you are not running strong perks, you will lose. If you are fine with that, keep running whatever you want. But if you actually want to win, you have to run the good perks.
Removing Prove Thyself from the list, all the other perks and builds are fine.. the main problem is to manage all the gens quickly.
More time you're in the trial, more easier the killer can achieve a 4K and more perks you need in order to get time for your teammates.

Killers that keep letting survivors win are doing nothing but messing with the numbers. When killers do this they just pad the metric that the devs are looking at to decide how to buff or nerf things. I personally will waste a killers time instead of them allowing me to escape.
If they're looking for numbers in their game in order to balance the game, I'm looking to chocolate in an hardware store.

before any of you say "oh you need to learn to loop without dead hard. thats all"... i have 3k hours in this game. i didnt use dead hard that often either. i LIKED looping without it. or any exhaustion because it felt that much satisfying to know i had a long chase WITHOUT any help. so now that we have that all cleared up:
i miss facing good killers!! killers with good mind games, who knew how to pressure gens, and when you lost to them you could say "he played really well. ggs" all i get are a bunch of boosted baby killers who don't know how to mind game and now they don't have to learn because the game just hands them the win. You cant simultaneously make gen times longer as well as make chases shorter. survivors dont have enough time to get anything done before the killer comes to interrupt. every game feels too exhausting.
i used to play killer and survivor equally, im red ranked in both, but since the patch i have been playing killer a lot more because its wayyyy easier and less stressful. yesterday, i got adept on 6 killers i had never even tried before... do you know how many games it took me? 6....... ITS TOO EASY. THERES NOT EVEN A CHALLENGE.
BHVR, I think you went WAY overboard with these killer buffs. a lot of the perk changes were nice. good job. no complaints (except maybe thana. thats miserable).. but the amount of base kit changes in the killers favor is ruining the survivor experience.
Just don't listen at them, who says that you're a baby survivor if you can't loop killer better than before is brainless and unable to reason putting himself in the shoes of both sides.
(I'm talking as a red-rank survivor and killer) Killers are incredibly easy now, because of the new update on gens repairing duration.
If you do some calculations, you'll get that no one is so stupid to not understand that camping is worth now.
You got 50 seconds more to do whatever you want, and if you get a survivor in the early game and you camp it, It's a free kill.
Even with 2 gens left, a killer can manage the rest of the game, and the new little buffs on kicking, Thanato, etc. helps who had a bit more difficult in chasing.
It's no pleasant at all to play in SoloQ now, that's why I stop to play DBD.
If you want to have some fun, just go in SWF, that's the only way.

I saw that aswell very frequent like you described. Still most didnt use it correctly. A lot of bots were doing Dh for distance but were so focused to get to the pallet that they stop looking behind. They get to pallet, drop it and boom here I am at their side smacking them down. Yes, doesnt work against really good survivors. But you are capping hardcore if you want to tell me that majority of survivor population is that good. 80% were failing with DH.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3086244#Comment_3086244
You dont need a brain to understand that doing multiple balance decisions at once will be bad and its going to be hard to determin the main factor why a game became off balance. Was the DH nerf survivors were crutching on? The new meta slow down perks? The additonal 10 seconds? The general Perk nerfs? That tunneling and camping got stronger? Were are we going to start rebalancing? You cant. Its a failure patch. BHVR should have never done so many things at once
Hard to determine? Are you serious? The main problems are so evident, because players are complaining about them.. if they tried to test those elements on their own, surely we couldn't get nothing useful to balance the game.
The Dead Hard nerf opened a big new choice of exhaustion perks, the nerf to the sprint after being hit is a bit too much for survivors but, for example, makes Overcome a worth perk than before.
Increasing and removing some numbers surely will improve the gameplay.. they just need time to test.
They can't get the target at first attempt, It's impossible even for bigger game companies.

testing? This is going to stay. you dont know bhvr long enough eh. The only time they actually did a test and reverted it was the Bloodlust removal weekend.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3085658#Comment_3085658
DH was strong in the strong hands of survivors. It was usend 80% of the matches, but how often did we see a really powerful, succesful and impactful DH play? I saw it once a week if I dont count myself. Yes, chasing a survivor like myself who is already super annoying to deal with and also had the DH in the pocket was in some circumstanced game losing for the Killer. BUT:
1) Why are Killers overcommiting on a survivor like myself who clearly is playing since 2016, preserves pallets, chains loops etc? Long before even DH was needed he should have left me alone
2) Im top 1%, most survivors are garbo with DH and make no use of it. They would have been running the Killer with sprint burst longer because even a moron can use Sprint Burst
You don't need a brain to understand that balancing a game requires time and feedbacks, especially if you put so many new features into.. not the first time they have to deal with it and they're trying a new approach (if you started playing since 2016, you should have a good knowledge of patch history).
Aaaand... yeah, you're so strong and self-entitled man, congrats. Here's a cookie. 🍪
No one cares about how many survivors waste Dead Hard uselessly because that's the normality with all genre of perks and actions... most of the time, Dead Hard made killers lose so much more time without using more than 2 braincells.
As a main Killer I was fine with that, but I got many situations in which I loss even 40 seconds for a dash and I'm not the only one who said that.. even a noobie like some friends I recenty took on DBD understand that pressing a button and gain a good amount of time for your team It's extremely handy.
-
The hook feature I think It's interesting; also adding another gen with less repair duration is not a bad idea but the game needs some new features to be funnier and innovative (something like totems or similar, but strongly required in order to escape).
I just contest the last point, the doors: 65 seconds to open a gate can be actually good, but they can't close after just 20 seconds, It's terribly annoying, even if there's another door in the trial.
I know survivors need some coordination but this motivates them to play in SWF and that's not so good.
-
A pretty fun strategy, I didn't try it yet but I think It's balanced enough with this new build.
Just a bit annoying, but that's part of the game.
-
It's a goddamn mid-chapter patch.. they're just testing a new meta.
With the PTB they put too much at once and they didn't have time enough to solve the new issues.
That's why this new patch has been called as a mid-chapter, because they are trying to get some feedbacks in order to solve those issues.
They just need some time.. now SoloQ survivor is completely unplayable, I'm giving my opinion on the Forum and I'll wait patiently an update.
-
As a main killer, I had a very bad experience with new long time queues and I'm not playing that role anymore.
I played several matches as survivors and now I play DBD just for boredom.
Killer role is unbalanced now for just a simple reason: 90 seconds for each gen means that your team needs 50 seconds more to complete all the gens in the trial.
Now killers can afford to camper the first survivor they get and can even manage the rest of the game. They know that they won't be punished for that, because they have so much time to waste.
Just a good SWF team can match against this kind of situation.
Playing in SoloQ is completely impossible: tunneling is not really an huge problem but obviously with new buffs is a little harder to get away from a chase; camping is no more bearable in the mid-match, maybe using Kinship and if the hooked one got Kindred you can gain more time.
Also survivors don't do gens because is boring to wait 10 seconds more to complete one, so many DCs, the new base-kit BT is completely useless and there's a lot of Nurses that don't even need to learn how to use the power.
Luckily, that's a mid-chapter so they are just testing a new-meta... I think It's a "good" starting but they need to keep it up, absolutely.

Lofl. I dont even mind the arrogant vitriol. Enjoy your long ass load time because theres no survivors.
Ops, they ruined your awesome meta, right? Feels bad to actually need to learn the game in order to win?
Was very annoying to play survivor in the evening because there weren't enough killers that liked to be bullied?
Arrogance is another thing, but I don't think people like you ever opened a vocabulary iin their life.. enjoy your endless streak of loss because you're not good enough at the game to get a win. Good luck in the trial. <3
-
Bloodlust is not a "must" in chase.
A good killer doesn't even need it.
A good idea to avoid tunneling and, in particular, camping is to debuff the killer if he's in a range of TOT meters, like: increased duration of entity progress on hook, revealing aura of the killer (a stupid one but that's an idea), etc.
If a killer decides to tunnel a survivor and his team is a little bit productive on gens, it goes backfire for him.. I honestly think that camping is the main problem, the tunneling is just an horrible choice.
-
I mean, we played killers for so long, adapting to Dead Hards, Circles of Healing with 100% healing power, 3 vaults on shack, DS available even if touching gens and so many awesome features.
Now stop complaining, go SWF, play and look how much is fair now.
Otherwise, uninstall and go do something else.. honestly, we don't need another survivor main unsatisfied of a meta not oriented on his side (for once).
-
Probably you got an huge coincidence or just played only a couple of games and noticed that.
Saves in the end-game are pretty fine in my opinion: NOED is no more a big problem, No one left behind and Hope are fine now (even if they're useless for the entire match), the new base kit BT gives you time enough to bodyblock (obviously depends to the type of killer).
They did a good choice disabling OTR and DS at the end of the match... it could be almost impossible to get a kill camping the last hooked person.
-
I think that's the same for killers.
The game is prettty hard to be balanced at this point with all the features that they had introduced.

All you really need to say to get the value out of kindred in a SWF is "I am going for the unhook keep doing gens, or I am getting chased go for the unhook, or the killer is camping the hook just do generators" that is all kindred does you don't really need reference points.
Welp, okay. Those calls are pretty fine.
I was talking about more specific calls like "hey, the killer is at the mill in Dead Dawg", "hey, the killer is in the main building in the Red Forest, etc." (not chasing anyone).. obviously the most important calls are unhooks and gens and I totally agree with that.
-
Just uninstall.
As survivors you can't win all the games, because the gameplay focus on the teamwork and if your team decide to scratch their own balls then you can slowly wait for your death.
Ignoring that fact, learn to loop, to set last three gens and put Prove Thyself and Bond on your build.
Surely, your results will improve.
About the DC, I can't say anything. That's a fact and as I say everytime, this game doesn't give you an huge penalty if you quit a match.
-
Still not an incredibly good perk, but It's really worth on a low-mid tier killer or just in case you want to have fun with a perma-chase build.
Killers like Wraith, Clown, Myers can be very oppressive.

Firstly I agreed that only solo should have it secondly swf never run kindred anyways its useless to them.
I don't agree 100%.
Sometimes Kindred helped me a lot to communicate with my teammates.
Example: in Shelter Woods there aren't so many reference points so my dialogues are kinda "asdblafjaodòpaspoi".. in that case It's so comfy XD.
-
Surely, It can be base kit: It gives you so much informations and the slot it occupies is more than worth.
If SWF had this as base kit, they could run an additional perk that could come in handy.
-
I'm quite sure SWF are still better than killers.
Btw, for SoloQ survivors is really tough to get easily out of the match, so I'll say that the killer meta is a reality now.
-
Dude, seriously?
With the new add-ons and mechanics, are you really asking for more time on the power?
For me, the Legion is perfectly balanced right now: the bonus speed gained chaining multiple hits is enough.
-
The graphic is too old, the gameplay is not balanced and the developers don't want to touch it in order to not ruin it definitively.
So poor communication with developers and players, poor work and zero attempts to modernize the concept that characterizes the game.
They're also bad at advertising themself: this game is staying alive thanks to the little community that keeps thinking this game is funny even if there's a lot of problems (like me). New players are not involved to play it for a long time: the game is repetitive even if there are various characters, perks and maps (I recently took 3 more people to play DBD and they're already getting tired of it, even though they liked it).
-
Pain Resonance, No Way Out, Dead Man's Switch and Lethal Pursuer for Legion Build.
A good pressure early game and can save a bad match in late game.
Sometimes I go for Coulrophobia, Distressing, Sloppy Butcher, Jolt but with the nerf to the Iridiscent button, the new self-mend feature on the new add-on that applies "Broken" and the new Hemorrage, I think I'll go only for the first one.
-
Boon totems are perfectly fine.
They ruined the Hex Perks meta for obvious reasons and I don't really care about that.
But Circle of Healing is annoying, abused and an huge counter to most of killers in mid/low-tier.
A nerf on the healing power and the boon setting time would be very appreciated in my opinion.
-
Nurse: "Am I a joke to you?"
Jokes aside, do you really think Behaviour would let people earn Auric Cells for FREE? (pardon for the eventual bad English, I'm Italian)
Dude, do you understand how is this game going?
The only way they can get money to "improve" the quality of the game is with cosmetics, special characters, etc. They're in a bad situation where balancing the game is really hard and they are still adding more and more features, the community is very little and new people are not involved to play DBD because the gameplay is not simple, fun and for everyone. Also I think is good to mention that their marketing strategy is too weak.
Talking about the gameplay, personally I think that what you said is wrong: I play both killer and survivor (mostly killer) and I manage almost all the "free" characters available. Part of them doesn't even have good, or just, not-free perks and I still play, without so many problems.
Also there are so many killers in high-tier free to use or purchasable with Iri-shards too like Nurse, Huntress, Hag, Oni and perks like Nurse's Calling, Ruin, Pain Resonance, Bamboozle, Pop, etc.
Honestly, I think the Shrine of Secret is worth because sometimes gives you limited perks, that's the only positive thing. Iri-Shards are also quite easy to farm as long as you play the game.
So, I agree with the reroll on the Shrine, It's a cute feature they can add... but the gameplay doesn't depend on money at all, just bad balancing.
