And when you do well but not good enough to win they t bag at the end to rub it in and yh it’s easy to say ignore but it’s just annoying when ik for a fact they’re just stronger and I can’t do nothing about it except take the l even when I played well.
-
No matter how good you’re there will be a 4man survivors who will just be better. Because it’s near impossible to win against them with any killer. It is a 4v1 after all so you’re already at a disadvantage ya know. It’s like they’re the bosses the power roll and it shouldn’t be.

I'd agree with upside on this. 'Sweating' is fine, but if you have to tunnel and camp to do well, you're in an MMR that's too high for your skill level. It's the same with lower skill survivors who constantly hide and don't develop their skill in chase.
Don't get me wrong, my feeling is that most killers available aren't fit for top level DBD matches.
I see your point, but whenever I try to not tunnel I don’t get a 4 man because hooking chasing and whatnot takes too long while the gens are being worked on. I need to apply pressure and the only way I can get that early game is tunnel. It’s not like I enjoy it but that’s the games incentive is to get kills not hooks.

Killers win most of their games in low mmr.
Killers win most of their games at mid mmr.
Killers win most of their games at high mmr.
Killers win most of there games againsr 4-swf at iri 1.
According to data, games killers dont “win” are more likely to be ties rather than losses
Please note hatch doesnt count as a win during these statistics.
Also, as killer I noticed at the beginning of the game is when surviviors have the most resources and i have zero pressure, so instead of being surprised surviviors do literally the only objective available at the moment, i began applying pressure, dont focus on generators and force them to do the other objectives
Yeah it’s just annoying I spawn in and by the time I find one or couple on a gen across the map it’s 70% then the chase and by that time that gen is already done so you start with 4 gens. And the most annoying thing is totem spawns on gens so there goes one of ur perks before you can even stop it.

Gen times just need to be increased more.
And there need to be stronger measures to deter camping and tunneling.
Literally that I feel like gens just fly too fast for how long chances can last and it’s just a lose lose situation. All gen speed perks need to be removed from the game as they go fast enough as it is.

skill issue. I play high MMR all the time it’s no problem for me. In fact I believe killers need nerfs and I’m a killer main. Do you know how easy it is for me to tunnel someone out? Extremely easy. You just need to get better tbh
Fact you say skill issue shows it’s not that and you clearly don’t have constant high level swf because 0 killer can go against a good swf and win sometimes you might but not all. Extremely easy when they have off the record or ds then body blocking the gens will fly. This is personal experience and watching high level players. You cannot get better against an impossible win against a swf or high level survivors who make 0 mistake.

Every kind of evidence we have states the complete opposite. Based on actual statistics, not just personal experiences. You can have any kind of opinion you want, but until the evidence supports your opinions, it's bound to be rather unpopular and frequently challenged.
That evidence is for everyone not specified high level surv swfs and that’s all I go against and it’s not fun like.

I think the bigger problem is, killers ending up in high MMR and getting their rear handed to them repeatedly only to keep matching against strong survivors.
The game is NOT this unbalanced if your matchmaking fits your skill level, when matched against people that match your capabilities I have found most systems work as intended.
Against weaker survs I can get 4ks, against coordinated teams I get 1-3k. But in the past I have been to MMR hell where the survivors always know what to do and, wow that is a nightmare, I agree.
Yeah I agree 100% with you I lose 2 games against a swf go against bots the next get a 4k and its back to ultra sweats like I just played as Vecna there and they just held forward I have a fly ability but it’s just not enough to catch me up. It’s just really really stressful when you know the gens are being worked on at a rapid pace and you can’t really do much about it.
-
Problem is the game isn’t fun when 3 gens pop at once or 2 when ur having a chase there’s just too much pressure for how quick the gens fly it’s not hard to sit on a gen for over a minute and complete it and with the perks survivors have to quicken the gen speed it’s just so much on the killer and is just not fun I shouldn’t feel weak and powerless and I do.
-
true I agree
-
You can’t change anything up expect abuse gen slow down because they fly to quickly and because I don’t use high tier killers I have a harder time to keep up at high mmr.

That doesnt explain tunneling at 5 gens and it goes back to what I said, you sweat, tunnel and camp to get the win, your MMR goes up then you cant handle that MMR because youre not actually good at the game.
tunnelling and sweating is also high skill as survivors have so much to counter that so I don’t know what ur saying tbh. If I want to tunnel at 5 gens I can there’s no rule behind it and the most effective way of getting 4 mans is tunneling Litt most high level killers say this.

High MMR should be tough. It's the best players up there. If you're unable to compete at that level then perhaps you don't belong in high MMR?
tough yes not near impossible cuz that’s what it is.

Once people realise sitting on a gen holding 1 button sometimes 2 and having chases isn’t exactly HIGH HIGH level skill gameplay. Killer has constant pressure 24 7 surv is a breeze I love when I play it I can sit back relax and chill no stress ik what loops are busted how to loop them it’s great and the killer feels helpless but I don’t t bag cuz ik exactly how they feel. I escape more as surv then I do get a 4k as killer because it’s just easier to do and it all depends on the killer. I main Vecna atm and he’s ass b tier killer so I’ve got no chance against a swf or high level survivors no matter how good I play. Fingers crossed he gets a decent buff this month.
-
Or maybe the killers are slowly starting to become the powerroll as you know they’re the killer after all and it is a 4v1 it’s crazy how people think that surv aren’t when it’s a 4v1 situation. Survivors for the past 6 years have been broken beyond belief to being strong and they still got a long way to go as to killer getting stronger cuz they’re the powerroll and should be feared but r not you just t bag cuz you know ur in control on surv.
-
Reworked eye of the crow and it’s still just as broken what about Freddys map absolute joke n don’t get me started on meat plant pallet heaven.
-
you bring a totem in the game oh guess what surv spawn on it right next to a gen goodbye perk 10 seconds in the game and goodbye gen since they spawned on that 2.
-
He says while they nerfed gen defence and nothing for surv so gens fly even faster

If you tunnel to win, your MMR will go up. If you then cant handle that higher MMR you don't deserve to be there and should learn to play without those styles because yes you will get the anti tunnel perks and the survivors that can counter that playstyle.
I watch plenty of killer mains' streams that win on high MMR without tunneling. Its possible if you have the skill for it.
But most importantly, it's a game. Stop being so competitive and make it fun. This is a "party" game after all (according to the devs). If you're not having fun, or intentionally trying to ruin the other team's fun, you're doing the video gaming wrong (this statement works both ways).
it don’t work both ways when you have 4 man sef gen rushing you and you got no chance of winning its that simple survivors are jist too strong and need an overall nerf I shouldn’t have to tunnel but the game for a win you have to i watch high mmr killers and they tunnel to win so I don’t know who you be watching

Agreed! But depending on maps it decides a win / loss and swf or not. But I’m saying killer should not be as stressful as it is because gen speed is crazy and survivors are extremely strong when organised.

48.3% escape rate is not "most of the time"
high mmr doesn’t mean swf tho. You can be high mmr solo queue. A full comp swf is pretty much a loss, only cuz gens fly and them stats are before gen slowdown nerfs.
-
I disagree with everything you said. I’ve got 6 years under my belt I’ve seen survivors and how they were really broken so they have come along way from before but they still need alot of work. Holding W is a very strong form of time wasting, every second holding forward is a second on gens you clearly don’t understand how every second counts on a killer. Playing perfect is literally how high level surv swf will wipe the floor with the best of killer fact. that’s how the game works and they play perfectly. Once you know the loops by the back of your hand and maps it’s very difficult for the killer to zone. And Tunnelling is used because of gen speed which they nerfed for killer and buffed for surv which obvs applies insane amounts of pressure for the killer because you’ll get gen rushed. I personally think yes I do have high mmr when they’re prestige 100 4 man swf most of my games or high level solo queue surv who know every mind game and map an also put map offerings on with flashlight , sabotage kits. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions I wanted to share mine on how unbalanced the game truely is.

Survivors in high mmr die more frequently than the average & I rarely see teabagging in high mmr killer streams
maybe you're not as high mmr as you think, or maybe your mmr is boosted from where it would be from your current skill level
Depends on who you watch on stream i personally watch true talent , otz and a fair few 100 mains. Survivors in high mmr especially if they’re a swf will easily escape most of the time. 100% communication is insanely strong.
-
but the issue is the killer should be a threat and they’re not high level surv just are toxic t bag cuz they know they’re the power roll I don’t expect to win every game but when I’m struggling to get 1 even 2 and depending on the map it’s just bs I don’t feel powerful and that’s the issue
-
that’s the problem I shouldn’t lose by playing “nice” it should be hook counts not kills then killers have more incentive to actually go for chaces and not tunnel for kills but I play to win I’m competitive but I like to play both sides so I’m not biased. And I think that killers atm are just weak survivors imo especially when they know every loop every map are far far far too strong in chases and gens.

But if my personal criteria for "winning" is aggressively going for 8 Hooks then playing "nice Killer" until Mori'ing the Obsession with Rancor, I am skewing the data for killrate being an absolute measure of skill for MMR.
Unfortunately we don't really know how many other players play in such a manner. But as far as I'm aware, I've created an outlier in the data if only kills are looked at as a measure of "skill".
unfortunately that’s how the devs see skill is getting kills not hooks so playing “nice” will most likely lose you the game as too much pressure and gens fly you have to tunnel to even get close to winning or playing “unfun”

I agree with you about the gem issue. Survivors keep pulling out the Chaos Emerald and sending me into the Shadow Realm. It's making games borderline unplayable, to be honest.
it’s crazy i just played a game there and spawned on a totem Litt right in front of my face and guess what was next to it a gen so that was easy while the killer lost 1 of his perks 2 seconds in and lost a gen
-
you can easily counter by dropping ur item in the corner of the map that’s what I do.
-
when you play perfectly as killer and I mean perfect you still lose you only win by survivors making a mistake and it shouldn’t be like that at all
-
@turksmall236 said:
While we're at it, let's make survivors start on hooks at beginning of trials and immediately die
you clearly don’t know what it’s like to be a high mmr killer then with that reply cuz I play both and ik for a fact survivors are beyond strong then they need to be.
-
movement speed needs a nerf imo holding forward is broken asf, like surv just have an answer for everything. Pallets and windows in chase , after down pallet drop save or flashlight save or body blocking, then when on the hook 4% and end game hatch and obvs borrowed time off hook longer hook times like what does the killer get in this regard and it’s nothing they took away hook grabs so now when you goy a surv on hook end game and there’s 2 or more left then you’ve lost essentially I just can’t fathom on how strong survivors are compared to killer and how easy it is compared to killer.
-
mmr works off kills not hooks so you have to tunnel to get mmr but now the devs put so much anti tunnel it makes it near impossible and if you don’t tunnel you lose
