quitting a game is never a viable solution im sorry. I feel like im taking crazy pills.

What about the crazy amount of hackers lately? You cant even DC to not give them any satisfaction and get penalized. Maybe start controlling the hackers better, then think about the DC timers

Some people are mad thirsty for that external validation. The same people who stand on the hatch or at the gate until they are seen.

I think people are just asking for what was promised from the anniversary stream. Or at the very least, heavily implied. That something unique, and would giving bragging rights would be rewarded to those prestige 3 before the update. Some people, like myself, are more upset that it felt like a bait and switch.

  • I like these ideas. I'll contribute, and maybe this had already been suggested before. 1 vs 8, but the maps are connected. If you manage to escape the first map then you load into the next one and so on, until all the survivors or killed, or reach the last map ( maybe 3 or 4 max), Maybe each subsequent map has more/less generator depending on how many survivors are left?

I just like the idea of the exit's somehow leading into another trial. The idea that everything is somehow connected together. Not sure how lore friendly that is

It wouldn't be a big deal, if they presented it like this from start.

Which they simply didn't, they even talked about "deserved bragging rights" and because there wasn't said any reason why reward was changed, it seems like they just wanted to get more players to grind during anniversary.

Bragging rights is something interesting that made at least me waste tons of time and cakes, if they stated it's personal reward, then I wouldn't give a #########.

I think this is really important to note. Since it wasn't clear what the reward was, other then it would be unique and give bragging rights, a lot of people wouldn't have have spent so much time farming. Personally as someone who spent a lot of time P3'ing for that unique reward, it feels like a bait and switch. Maybe being much more clear would elimate the confusion and frustration in the future

  • Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought thats what they specifically said, the reward would have "bragging rights" attached to it during the 6th anniversary stream?

  • Not only is it ugly, but isn't it client only, as in no one else can see that you put in the hard work but you?

We've all heard by now that the reward for Prestige 3ing your survivors and killers before the new system is pushed is going to be a "sparkly" character portrait only the player can see. That's STUUUUUPIIIIIIIIID. It should at least be something all other players can see AND something you can bring into each match if you want. I'm proposing that for those characters you prestiged, the devs unlock LEGACY cosmetics for those characters. They're in the game anyway.. unlock for those who have pumped in the hours. It would be AMAZING and much appreciate! I've been playing since 2018 and main survivor. I've only managed to prestige a handful of survivors. The impact AGAINST those who have played since 2016 would be negligible, but for those individuals who have poured their blood, sweat, and literal tears into their character, it would be unexpected and a great reward for player loyalty and devotion.

Hol'up, I knew the p3 reward was a golden shower portrait, but now its something that cant be seen by anyone else? Lol, how is this even a reward? Im surprised more people aren't outraged if this is true.

Honestly, being sick of swf is like being sick of tunneling.

If you can't get used to it, better find a new game.

If you read my original comment, im sick of SWF toxicity when it's paired against brand new killers who haven't had a chance to learn. All Im suggesting is that low level killers (pre 4 slots unlocked) should not be subjected to them. I can deal with them (mostly) on the killers I have leveled and had a chance to understand.

  • In my limited experience, its not just about skill but level of fun. Going against tougher opponents CAN be fun, its the toxicity that swf brings. Just had another game against 3 bills macroing flashlight clicks all game. SWF toxicity is definately driving me away from playing killer even more than it has.

  • Fair enough, but doesn't a coordinated team perpetuate the issue of t hem being "good"?

You should not be frustrated by getting owned, there will be ups and downs, if you keep that up it will literally eat you alive in this game.

Know that you can learn from them, Know that it dont matter if they have easy game vs you, dont take bloated egos to heart in endgame chat.

Kill the best you can, have fun applying the hammer to Survivors, even if you dont managed to hit them at all.

With time comes skill, comes mastery. Chill and have fun is my best advice.

The frustration lies in the fact that its very difficult to learn or improve when your just getting stomped by a coordinated team. New players should be given time to learn the killer and their nuances first, imho. Why cant there be two queues? Give bonus BP or something to the killers that join SWF queues? Again new to the game so I'm sure this has been discussesd to death before.

I hope there would never be an option for that

Just curious, why would that be?

There is not and it will almost certainly never happen. While there are a handful that would, the vast majority of killers would just uncheck SWF. Why risk a 4 man bully squad when you could just check the box that makes it so it's a 0% chance?

Perhaps SWF gives *less" of an advantage to experienced killers who know how to play around it, but to new players, we just get bullied, and learn nothing. How about a filter for new players. Cant be placed with SWF until after XX amount of playtime or something.
