I'd love to be at 53. I just barely scraped 40 today and I've been playing almost daily. It feels like homework now. I will be taking a long break if not parting ways entirely. I don't think the devs will scrap the tome and it affects play, at least on the survivor side, too negatively for me to keep up. Even if I don't buy the rift, I'll be in games where people are only trying to do objectives. I'm very done with that.
Believe me, it wasn't easy for me to reach Tier 53 it was exhausting and not so fun after a while! lol
I agree what you are saying!...I think this Rift was a good idea but I think the way it's implemented is too much work/grind. Something needs changing like maybe offer less cosmetics/Tier's? and tone down the grind a little. At my age the Challenges are a little easier from Level 1 but gets harder and frustrating at higher Levels trying to repeat them if you fail the first time.
I am getting a little tired of playing the game and the thrill is gone and the fun is not there anymore like it use to be when I first got the game back in 2017. Now I am playing everyday with really no care or excitement just to try and catch up just to finish at Tier 70 before the Rift expires.
I'll be done for a few months or more once I finish it until I get the itch again to play but no more grinding....can't do it anymore even though I have the time since I am a retired old man (59 years old) that wants to play other games before I can't anymore!!.lol

Too Grindy. I am at Tier 53 at the moment. This is the last one I will buy. I love the game but this Rift grind makes me not want to play DBD for at least a few months once I'm done. DBD is starting to get stale and tiring.

Tome 1 refers to the currently active tome: Tome I: Awakening. Are you talking about the levels? Because all the levels and their challenges will no longer give fragments once Tome II is released, only BP.
I am referring to the current active TOME 1: Awakening with the four levels: I, II III IV. Sorry I am not too familiar how they are currently described. I am still on Level III

Wrong, Tome 1 challenges will no longer offer rift fragments once the next rift opens.
Really?....I have completed Tome's One and Two but Three I still need to complete. I have to do two more Survivor and most of the Killer. Will Tome 3 still be active by the time the second Rift becomes available?

Yes.
For both yes, you can see when the new Rift will be available in the current Rifts section on the top right or left of the screen (It'll tell you how many days you have left to complete that Rift).

Quick question. I have reached Tier 70 but still need to complete some Survivor challenges and Killer challenges. Do the Fragments of the challenges carry over onto the next Rift Tier when it becomes available?

Shoot!, you even get toxicity from your own team as survivor if you make a little mistake. Telling me how to play the game and cursing me out like a boss! lol This was my first one so far after about a month playing this game with non-toxic, don't take it serious mature players and having a great time. Hey, I am a 60 year old retired gamer from way back and of course my motor reflexes are not what they used to be but I try and have fun, that's all I want to do.....lol
I now cut out the chat on occasion just to get some relax playing time. But if I didn't, I don't give a rats ass what these toxic players say to me! I paid my $$$ and all their trash talk is not going to stop me from enjoying this game which I like! If they don't like that I'm not as good as they are then go ahead and do something about it, or move on along and GTF out of my face!
This was in rank 16 by the way where there is no need to whine to me on how to play the freaking game, people are just staring out at this stage.... SMH

Well, I was having fun when I got the game a month ago on sale but now I am seeing the toxicity that a lot of players talk about. Jesus people take this game too serious! This is a game people!..it's not "Real" Life and Death. If you want to compete with the big boys and girls go join a ESPORTS type of league for christ sake and this is in Rank 16 by the way, nowhere near the top player ranks! Maybe they got their feelings hurt because a rookie had a higher score than them. When I looked at the score I was on top and these so call "experts" players were down the scoreboard.
I am not too sure but I think I was playing with 3 SWF and there was a lot of lag too. After the game they sure let me have it!...all three of them blaming me of bumping into them while I was running from the killer and what not. I told them to go cry me a river and stop acting like immature babies. If they don't like the way I play too bad, they have no control of what I do.
It's not going to make me not play anymore because I couldn't give a ######### what these toxic brats say. I am going to continue playing and have fun! FK em!
