Due respect, if you don't know what any kind of visible proof in the form of vods would prove, then I have no idea what the point of this post is. That said, good luck to you. This is where I exit stage left.
Bless.
Why harass someone for proof on what is an informative and, not only believable, but also pretty mundane post.
To others, this is an informative post by someone with clear knowledge and effort put into it. This is perceptible to other knowledgeable and impartial players. For example, Michi, who is in this thread and is also a very knowledgeable hag main.

No! 😃Thanks for asking.
Maybe this attempt will work out. 😃

Did you even read the developer update? The whole purpose of SBMM is to match of similar skill levels so actual balance can't be done. The actual system isn't reliable for data because you can have someone with 150 hours who is still learning the basics of the game as the same rank of someone with 4k hours who breathes DBD.
They can test it however many times they want (as they will, and an alternative is not provided 😃.) I'll believe it when I see it actually work for once.
When again have developers given meaningful communication on implemented changes? So, as it goes, I'll believe it when I see it.

Yeah, the survivor mains saying their teammates are awful in skill based matchmaking kind of make me cringe. It is like, bro... Whatever you are doing, its wrong. Fix it and your teammates will also fix their mistakes.
You can't win a game solo... can you explain to me the self-contradictory logic of, "play better despite your awful teammates, who you need to rely on in order to be considered 'a good player,' according to the (undisclosed) MMR formula."
How so, and to what degree, does someone "fix it" in order to fulfill the requirement for my teammates to also "fix their mistakes." 🤔😐️

Numerous people have commented something to the effect of "SBMM is a way of balancing the game by giving weaker/stronger killers fairer matches by matching them with weaker/stronger survivors." This is nonsense and not a solution.

SBMM is the best thing that will happen to the game for years.
If you feel like some killers need buffs, it means your are playing with survivors that are stronger than you.
As you can't play against SWF that often (it's like 3% of the trials), it means you can't get kills in higher ranks while most of survivors there are total potatoes atm.
Everyone will play at his/her rank and everything will be better for the game.
I also completely disagree with the first point you made. Some killers objectively perform better against higher skilled survivors. It's not a valid solution to simply try to give the poorly balanced killers better/worse survivors with their nonsense MMR formula. To top it off, BHVR seems allergic to transparency towards the community these days.
Simply, the game's fundamental design isn't suited to a SBMM system due to the overall casual player-base, the impossibilité of balancing an asymetric game, and randomly seeded maps.

Sheesh, good luck with that one.

Well, i had a game yesterday where i played vs huntress, and he was quite good, but the game was very balanced. I was in a chase with him several times, but could always escape, while he hooked everyone else 1 time. 1 gen was left, and he downed 2, hooked them, downed the next that tried to rescue one (mind you, he wasnt even camping, they just rushed to the hooks), and hooked him. Meanwhile, i unhooked the other one, then hide to go for the next save when the killer leaves.
But then the survivor i just unhooked trapped me next to a wall for no reason. There was a vault but i couldn´t use it because the other guy was kind of standing there as well, i could not leave because he had trapped me, and i couldnt even heal him. And he just let the guys on hook die and waited for the killer to come over to us.
The killer downed me, killed the other guy, and gave me the hatch. It was quite clear that the game was fair up to that point, and he had seen what the other survior did. So, there are both kinds of killers, those who just take advantage, and those that don´t.
The thing you experienced seems to me like a toxic swf, that just beat on their random teammates. take a video and report them.
Thanks, I reported all involved in the end match screen but no idea if that does anything.

This. No sympathy for a rat. Surprised killers actually go along with it, pretty beta of them, but hey, that is why I mostly play killer, I don't need to be one of those types myself!
For sure, I play about 80/20 survivor and killer and I'm new. Most of my experiences with other players have been positive but this 'purposely killing another survivor' thing has happened before to me already.
On the opposite I've had a lot of really good sport teammates and killers.
