Ok, so my suggestion:
Remove all 3 of the negative status effects and replace them with this:
• Your aura is revealed to the killer for 20 seconds.
This makes 0 sense brother. Invocations can be started by 1 person and finished by another. If you remove the negative effects it loses the essence of invocation perks.

First me and my 4 man know how to loop so sharing hook states is nothing and stb exist which we do not need either. Second being perm broken is one of the most garbage thing to exist. 2% speed haste is nothing and at the same time killers qq about mft 3%. Third innovations once more wastes time when that 60 seconds wasted was more valuable on a gen. Fourth sure its only one killer but oni will benefit from this. Fifth if a person cant loop to begin with what is the point?
Innovations are killer perks and once I as a killer see that innovation sign and loud queue I confess am going for you or no mither users first because thats easier picking for me. As survivor I see you with either of these perks I stand correct your throwing the game and dont be mad if your being tunnel cause that is the one time rare even I side with tunneling and youn can't expect me to body block for you. Also those who talk about rat behavior, the funny thing is innovation users tend to hide and do nothing after doing their rituals.
First of all, it's not innovation, it's invocation. It's a perk that gives you a great advantage in exchange of a greater disadvantage. Not all perks need to be give me speed, give me 2nd chance, give me more time in the hook etc. There are more than 140 survivor perks yet everyone use the same meta all the time. When you say "me and my 4 man know how to loop" I can imagine what perks you use all the time. If you know how to loop why are you scared of being broken?

how exactly would this be a "killer" perk? Because it would give the possibility to best player in the team to be on death hook, while giving everyone else additional hook state, which is literally a win-win for survivors
Yes, well as a killer don't let survivors complete an invocation. If you see someone became broken due to an invocation tunnel that person out.

It would be extremely hit or miss. If the killer has no scourge hook perk, you get nothing and if he does, it is extremely overpowered.
Exactly, it wouldn't be overpowered just by the fact that it can't be used every game like off the record/decisive strike. It's a perk that only works if the killer puts you on a scourge hook. The 12% repair speed helps to kinda counter pain resonance and pain gift (pain gift gets you a penalty of 12% to repair gens if you heal). The 7% speed bonus (which is for only 1 minute) helps if you're getting tunneled off the hook, see how the haste is only while you're in chase. So you wouldn't be using the 2 effects at the same time.
@jesterkind said:
The Haste and repair speed is definitely overpowered, even one of those would probably be too much without being toned down significantly, but I do kinda like the idea. Nix both effects or put it strictly on a timer and keep one, I'd say.
The issue you'd run into is the same as something like Shattered Hope - there's no actual guarantee you'd ever get to use this perk. Granted, Pain Res is very common so you're more likely to use this than Shattered Hope specifically, but the same principle applies.
Not against perks like that existing in theory, but it definitely wouldn't be popular, I don't think.
As an aside, how are you making these images? They look very good.
Exactly, it's a strong perk but it would be situational. If the killer doesn't bring any scourge hook, you're wasting a perk slot. If the killer does bring a scourge hook, you have a bit of a counter.
I did the images using canva dot com (I don't know if I can post links in the forum). I have very little knowledge about editing xD -

No terror radius would be so cool
Don't get me wrong, I love the game but the horror theme is almost non existent. It's more of a mouse and cat game. I can only feel it's a horror game when I go against stealth killers.

Everyone saying lights out was bad… I don't understand why.
I wish DBD was like the lights out modifier but with lights on. What I mean is I would like to play DBD without terror radius, red stains, auras or scratch marks. Call me crazy.
I think DBD would really be a horror game if it was like that.

I consider myself a killer main (Wraith) but I play a lot of solo queue, mainly until I reach Iri 1 and complete all challenges. Playing solo queue feels like you're a firefighter in a burning building with a team of strangers who all have different priorities and none of you can talk to each other. I'm trying to put out the fire, someone else is running around, possibly making the fire worse, someone hiding in a corner hoping the fire magically goes away, and another person who goes directly into the flames and expects you to save them. Meanwhile, the fire is hunting you down and you have no idea what your team is doing until it's too late.
4k does even mean anything to me. Yes, most people consider 4k a win, or even 3k. I consider a win when I'm Iri 1 and I would pip (seeing the progress bar over the pip). Imo if you wouldn't have pip up while on Iri 1 (which requires more progress than any other rank) you didn't do well enough in game. That's why it bothers me when someone gives up on 1st hook. that's 2 hooks that I wouldn't be able to get points for. -
Personally I don't play anon mode but most people in Asian servers (where I play) are anon mode. The few that aren't anon got multiple bans and VAC bans on record lmao.
I play mostly killer… when I win 99% of the time no one stays in the endgame chat. When I lose I mostly get gg ez from anons.It doesn't bother me play with anonymous people, but I've made friends with people from DBD that I played against.

I was thinking it was too weak lol, it really doesnt do much on its own and its only good on indoor maps that have good totem locations. killers could just track blood anyway and its not hard to stay inchase
Someone finally gets it :)

I also use boons as well, specifically on my Alan and Elodie builds. I wouldn't consider Exponential overpowered (I actually don't use it due to how situational it is like you've mentioned).
The only reason why I said it would be too OP is due to the fact that killers rely on sound a lot in the game. When you couple that with the numerous additions to the boon, such as muting gen progression and footsteps - it becomes a bit harder and obviously people would be able to shift the boon around.
Imagine me, a person who runs Deja Vu a lot in my builds —with your Shroud Boon, I'd probably combine it with Circle of Healing or Shadowstep, I could keep shifting it from one end of the map to the other where the three gen is and the killer wouldn't be any wiser to recognize what I'm doing.
I agree that obviously boons are easily broken, but it comes to a point where you have to be strategic on where you place them. Usually, I like to do a gen and then place my boon where I popped my gen as a sort of "safe haven", sure the radius could be bigger on boons.
Exponential to me isn't broken or OP because it is too situational. Most killers pick up the survivor, rendering Exponential useless. Sort of like Unbreakable - it's all dependent on what the killer does and from my experience not many killers slug until 2 people are left or they're losing a lot of gen progress, hence why I do not use Exponential (I do use Unbreakable, however).
You probably think exponential is not OP because you play solo mostly. For teams is OP, you fall on a pallet within the boon's area and your friend is there to save you if the killer tries to pick up, if the killer doesn't you can get yourself up.
I may have not made myself really clear when I wrote the perk, English is my 3rd language after all. What I meant is that you do not make sounds while your'e repairing the gen, not that the gen progression would be muted.
In the end is not like bhvr will check this out and think about it or anyhting like that haha. They probably have mapped their perks for the next 3 years and all we write here is irrelevant and just keeps us busy hahaMaybe check out my latest perk suggestion?: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/437818/new-perk-suggestion-boon-symbiotic-light/p1?new=1

Yes, this perk would be broken as it provides too much utility for a given radius.
It's combining Lightfooted, Technician (lol), Iron Will, Quick and Quiet, and Calm Spirit all in a single boon. If they were separated sure, but I don't think tying an Iron Will to a boon would be something I would implement in the game — I even say this as a person who used to run Iron Will in the past. The perk would be too OP as it provides too much to one boon perk.
Thanks for the feedback, truly appreciated. What many people seem to fail to understand is that boons are perks that take away slots for perks more poweful/important. Boons are situational, easily countered and the killer can simply destroy it. The more boons you equip the less value you get when the killer step on it.
What do you say about exponential? isn't it too "OP"? allowing survivors to recover from the dying state infinite amount of times? boon + survivor falling on pallet + teammate staying around. But as much value that the boon provides, the killer can simply step on it. -
@A_T_E said:
Too OP.
Something has to be reduced, either:
- it's effective range
- The reduction in sound to not be "completely suppressed", but instead "reduced by X%"
- The interaction sound suppression entirely scrapped.
Considering 'Boon: Shadow Step' exists, and boon totems take on all boon perks you have, you'd essentially create a ridiculous zone of anti-chase, if you indeed combine the "no run sound", "no pain sound", and "no scratch marks".
I appreciate your feedback. Killers can always snuff the boon and notice who's the booner in the team to potentially tunnel out that person.

Another killer perk for the survivors which that is what innovations already is how lovely.
How's that a killer perk? It makes the killer having to go to a total of 13 hooks instead of 12. And no one really forces you to equip a perk just like 99% of people don't equip No Mither. I appreciate your feedback and respect your opinion :)

@SoGo said:
I feel like you don't need to include every debuff possible in this perk.
The instant fall from 0 to 2 hook states seems like enough of a price.
Thank you for your feedback. At least I didn't include oblivious hehehe

@WolfePhD said:
I love your idea and I think it should be included in the game.
I know it's going to be an uphill battle getting this in the game.
But I really hope it does. This would be so fun to play with.
The issue is that someone is going to be suicidal and use it to leave the game at 5 generators.
Thank you! Vote Up if you liked it so it gets more attention. It's kind of suicidal but with the right strategy it could end up giving a great advantage to the survivors
