They are remastering Ormond. Ormond has a setting extremely similar to that of Until Dawn. Blackwood Mountain is Until Dawn's fictional mountain set in Alberta, Canada. Ormond is coincidentally also set in Alberta, Canada.
"Our past can sometimes be a burden" the burden of accidentally killing Hannah and Beth just to make a cruel joke, and thus now Hannah and Beth coming to kill the other characters.
"...that drives us to the most dangerous places in search of answers and hope..." signifying the new danger due to The Wendigo now lurking in the forested mountains. Samantha "Sam" Giddings, one of the characters in Until Dawn was seen in the beginning of the game listening to a podcast about the killing of Hannah and Beth up in Blackwood Mountain. Sam would be the most inquisitive and the most in search of answers. Remember that Sam was Hannah's best friend.
cutting to the actual teaser video, you can see a forested, snowy area. Perhaps thematically the trees in the distance* are all visually black? Regardless, when the "killer" pops up in the teaser, it is quite noticeably low profile, the lowest profile of all killers currently in the game. What also has an extremely low profile that is also in Until Dawn? The Wendigo. Notice the length and color of the arm and the distinct lack of a weapon in this image compared to the teaser, as well as the feminine growl/screeching.

Notice the timing of the chapter as well, this would be the winter chapter just as Darkness Among Us was also a winter chapter.
Hopefully this wasn't too lengthy of a read, I just had fun discussing the theory with my closest friends and regardless of what it turns out to be I can't wait to play it in the near future!
Who knows
Clues are definitely there. But they still have 1 original chapter, to keep their "2 licenced chapters/ 2 original chapters"

Isn't there already another anti tunnel perk called babysitter?
Nobody runs babysitter though. I love running it but they seem to always find the recently hooked survivor because they're proxy camping. I run BT with babysitter but I've never had a survivor actually survive when I saved them. So idk if you would call that an anti tunnel perk

Lmao, you've got me there. For every God tier Steve, there's an Urban Evasion blendette... Or two or three blendettes. Still, I'm big on altruism and never opposed to dying for my teammates, even if they don't always deserve it.
Exactimundo my friend

I would actually use the perk atleast I know I've got a little bit of a chance after being unhooked.
Only the savior can apply Bodyblock to the hooked survivor. Thus making it another teammate dependent perk

Stronger for killer but also strong for survivors because it lasts much longer, assuming your teammate is decent at looping. If the killer tunnels the survivor off hook for 45 seconds, only to hit them and find they have Bodyguard, then they have to decide whether or not to waste more time tunneling to try and down them, or they can stop tunneling and try to find the unhooker, since now they have incentive to because they're injured. Its a time waster for killers, and a big benefit for those getting tunnelled, but much less frustrating than a DS stun for killers.
I personally don't like DS that much, because it just makes killers that much more inclined to tunnel you once you use it in my experience.
If theres one thing I've learn from this "game" it's to never assume your teammates are good. Always assume they're potatoes in need of constant saving. Then when they do good thats when you apply praise to the potatoes

You have a DC button for those kinds of matches.
You should have posted your story to the feedback section instead.
Heres what your snarky little comment is missing, We get penalized for using it. It is highly frowned upon and Killer mains cry about it saying it "ruins" the game. Next time you want to put a snarky comment think about what your typing before you post it.
K Thanks
Bye

I'm hoping for a new chase perk. just something to help in chases. doesn't need to be that strong even, just something to mix up the main gameplay and i always have trouble slotting in a chase perk as the ones we have now are kinda meh
Hopefully something that makes the killer pay for camping/proxy camping. Hopefully BHVR takes this seriously and puts in good ######### perks for once

Its basically just a stronger version of Borrowed Time. One question why would the unhooking survivor take the damage? The survivors that get unhooked could just stand there and get hit to just give damage to other people. It's a good idea but I feel like it could be trolled

Where do I begin?
•Better FPS. No big lag spikes or frame drops when a gen gets completed, Sloppy Butcher connects, bloodlust kicks in, fog-even fog drops the fps bad for console players. Also have you played on PC, the skillchecks are as smooth as butter. You can hit them when they actually get the skill check, no need to time it like on console and where it’s a flimsy stuttering stick.
•The ability for PC survivors to see who the killer is in pre-game lobby through a 3rd party app. This was supposedly fixed, but it has been seen on Twitch streams again and again.
•Ability to brighten/lighten up maps to make it easier to find survivors or detect stealth killers. *If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, watch any popular streamer and see how much lighter in color their maps are than yours.
•Stretch resolution. Literally can see the killer from the other side of a “mindgameable” loop so that the mind game only exist for the killer.
•Higher sensitivity still for PC players only. Why? The devs have yet to explain. Also, this is a big deal, the extrapolation of a survivor or killer with higher sensitivity makes it more difficult for console players to dodge/connect a hit.
•Audio modifications. This is mostly rampant with people who main Spirit on PC, but they’re able to use audio mods to lower the bass/overall chase music and better pinpoint survivor breathing through this.
If I’m missing anything let me know. I’m sure I am. I just want console players to know ho much of a disadvantage you REALLY are at and that I don’t believe this was addressed before the implementation of crossplay and this was all at the console players expense.
They know all of these advantages and refuse to do anything about it. Shame because they're leading their game down a bad path. Just look at the Spirit "bug" even though 2 really big Dead by Daylight YouTuber/Streamer said it was a good thing. What're you going to do. Probably why so many people refuse to touch this #########
