It's not meant to completely prevent gen repairs, just would add some extra time before repairs could start. Have survivors hold the cans in the hand they don't hold their item in.
It's not a perfect solution, but it would slow repairs down just a little bit so killers could have less pressure during their first chase/hook.

my first idea would be to double the time to make a generator. i don't know if it's good idea but i think it wouldn't be bad and not too hard for developers
