I think that that would be awesome, since it would be togglable it wouldn’t affect balance

oh yeah and lets just make more cosmetics and for halloween lets make so called "event"
cosmetics are made by a different team, they have different people working on bugs so luckily cosmetics don’t really slow bug fixes and optimization.
bright side of the event, tons of blood points, free shards, and slightly different aesthetics, hopefully next year will be more halloweeny but it’s not all bad at least

you should definitely try and get the perk lightborn off of billy, that way flashlights won’t do that screen thing because flashlights won’t be effective, unless it’s the actual light flash from the flashlight itself then yeah I hope it doesn’t set one off, flashlight clickers can be really jerky players

just got a game as hag where i cant put trap at all
report it, that’s all you can really do :/ i’ve had that glitch with demogorgon and it’s just gross.
try to turn matches like that into just for fun rounds, do stupid silly stuff like pause to look at the survivor after a pallet is dropped or just start whiffing at windows, it helps it not sting as much when you lose your killer powers
-
camping is annoying when the killer is just doing it to BE annoying, otherwise if the killer is doing it because they legitimately think it’s the best play then I’m not going to berate them for it, also camping will happen a whole lot less in red ranks because it’s really just a bad strategy most of the time, especially if the survivors do gens and the survivor on the hook doesn’t suicide.
and no. Killers do not have it too easy right now, I die most matches as survivor(i’m always solo que) but I know the killers who played straight up are just very good with their selected killer, I struggle with basically every killer when trying to play that side and can’t get out of the yellow ranks despite being a red rank survivor, but I still think this is the best balance the game has had.

Sorry we wanted a decent way to slow the game down besides Pop Goes the Weasel or stacking perks like CI and Surge, also Ruin Undying is nowhere near as bad as the old ruin was. The current ruin can be countered by just not getting off the gen.
old ruin was crap compared to current ruin and only worked on new players because most of the time you could hit great skill checks and it was rng if the skill checks even went off, new ruin lets you skip hitting a gen that’s almost done and lets you just initiate a chase or search around the gen area as well as pairing amazingly with surveillance.
that being said as a solo player Idc about the undying build because it gets hard countered by Distortion+Detectives hunch or a map.
and with THAT being said, you guys saying just bring a map are completely ignoring a huge strongpoint of undying which is that it tells the killer you’re on that totem unless you bring distortion. it’s a good perk made great by having a weaker version of TOTH, it doesn’t matter if you know where the totem is if the killer knows when you get on the totem, especially if it’s a high mobility killer.

or make an option that every player can choose 2 or 3 maps before the round begin they don't want to play on. the map with the most votes will be erased from the pool. if there is a tie, than it picks one randomsly from the selected maps
that would be an amazing feature but I don’t think it’d work without removing map offerings :/
-
I think a really good idea to reduce toxicity is to implement a perk that exposes and lets you mori a survivor who crouches repeatedly in front of you, and that number changes randomly between 3-7 times so people can’t counter it. if they implemented that perk killers who get ultra frustrated could bring it so they can be done with toxic players.
-
dude it’s better graphics, why wouldn’t you want a better looking game?
it helps immersion and will probably make things a lot more spooky, i absolutely hate maps like mothers dwelling and the junkyard maps because everything has such an ugly blue-green wash over it.
as long as it doesn’t majorly affect fps(i’m on console) then yeah I totally want new better graphics like the ones in the ptb rn.
it’ll also help bring in more players because the better design wise looking game the more eye catching it’ll be to wandering eyes.

You can still do the skill check while running away, tho.
I’m on PS4 and the gens just explode when I tapp them, no chance for a skill check unless I stay on it, idk what’s happening if you’re supposed to still be able to get it

If it does that, it's bugged or they missed the check. The Devs literally said it is an intentional design feature to allow survivors to make the check after tapping and running away, but that Overcharge is the anti-tapping perk. Go figure.
My game must be bugged then, I was against a doc and the gen kept exploding when I tapped it, I can’t remember how long it’s been since I’ve gotten the skill check while running away

I’ve been playing for two years and still have problems with clown, he’s the only killer who I go “Dang it” against when I know it’s him, don’t feel too bad about it, some killers are just hard counters to you as a player

Not quite: Overcharge lets you hit the skill check when you run away. For a perk that's supposed to fix gen tapping it's not really that fair about it.
Actually not anymore, now it just explodes when you try that, idk when they fixed it.

It’s better than old Franklin’s, I usually try to avoid it by stashing my item somewhere and collecting it later or hopping in a locker, the most annoying part of Franklin’s is and always has been that a lot of players just use it upset people.
I use broken keys and I understand that some people think that’s a hatch key but it’s just for the auras, but like seriously you saw a map so you brought Franklin’s? That’s straight up just to be annoying.

I was walking to gens long before I knew sprint burst was a thing. I find blending in and not showing scratch marks to be more beneficial than running round and having the killer find you. And before you say blendette, I'm a dwight main.
You’ve got to have Nancy’s fixated perk then right? Because it sounds super useful for your play style, if not spring for it if it shows up in the shrine
-
Imo it’s perfectly fair because both sides can open it, as killer I like when it’s just 99ed because I like using Blood Warden, ofc when I’m survivor I just open it because it’s fun

As a survivor when killer is farming, I do the gens and leave. Not sure what the complain is, no one is forcing you to farm. Did 4 of the 5 gens two nights ago on a farming killer.
I play both sides and can see it from both angles as I have almost 1000 hours just on surv side.
I tried to do gens but then everyone just started chasing me down, I hid for a while but the survivors found the locker I was in, I really didn’t want to get hook farmed and that was the first time I had DCed in a long time. It’s fine imo to farm but don’t force it on others like a jerk.

If we get barrels to hide in, we need a rodeo clown outfit for Clown.
If I got to hide in barrels my enjoyment would instantly raise even more when playing this game

Yeah matchmaking started to go downhill after the Stranger Things DLC. That was the beginning, and since then it has steadily gotten worse, and now it's actually completely broken. The first problem is the matchmaking system itself having technical issues. The second problem is the fact that a lot of killers have quit playing killer, or just quit DBD in general, so there's not enough high rank killers to go around so then it forces lower ranked killers to go against the Red Rank survivors.
So there's a couple of major fundamental issues going on with this game right now, and the worst part is RADIO SILENCE from the Devs. There's a least 2 or 3 threads like this DAILY and the Devs haven't said anything except that they are "aware" of the problems. But hey! We got a new Plague cosmetic! And we're getting another new average killer to add to the roster of killers hardly anybody plays anymore.
Devs are actually aware and that’s why they’re making a new matchmaking system without the rank system because they know the ranking is all wazzy, I just hope it works because It’s been going both ways for me because I’ve been facing killers out of my league and newbie killers, And yeah the I play killer so I know how bad it is for them too, I’ve dealt with newbie survivors who I basically try and train by intentionally making mistakes when they make a good play and vet survivors who destroyed me.
I’m just really hoping the new system works well!

They didn't nerf anything. Doctor, Plague, and Trapper got buffed.
- Plague will now start will one corrupted fountain
- Trapper can reset traps on the ground
- Doctor got a good amount of add-on buffs and his shocks are more consistent so he can see how close a Survivor is to tiering up. The add-on buffs are:
- All electrodes will lose their charge speed penalty.
- Interview Tape's (sniper Doctor) range is increased to 24 meters from 20 meters.
- Iridescent King will now apply all of its afflictions when the Survivor reaches any level of Madness.
- The Obedience - Class III add-on and Iridescent Obedience effect have been removed. The counterclockwise skill checks are now a part of his base kit. Scrapped Tape will return to replace the Obedience add-on.
- Calm's affliction numbers are the same across all rarities (intermittent/constant distant heartbeat).
- All Restraint add-ons increase the duration of illusions for the same amount of time. The ability to see the illusions' auras is also active when the Survivor reaches any level of Madness.
- Discipline now reduces the shock delay by 0.1/0.2/0.3 seconds. Its affliction numbers are the same across all rarities (fake red stain).
- Order now reduces the Static Blast cooldown by 2/4/6 seconds. Its affliction numbers are the same across all rarities (illusionary pallets).
I’m so glad with the plague buff that people will stop calling me an idiot for cleansing against her, also trappers reset buff is going to be really nice I think

If they actually start pulling things from the maps and seeing if anyone notices that would actually be pretty cool. I would love to see how long it would take people to notice that Maurice the horse is missing.
Shortly for me because I pat him everytime I'm on that map

you cannot nerf SWF without harming solos. That's why i'm against nerfing killer (Except some unfair add-ons)
IMO devs need to buff solos to SWF level, and then buff all killers
So how would you buff them? Would making empathy a base mechanic and adding a totem count be enough?
