did you know they broke the record for fastest escape in a random lobby recently? 2:57 seconds. I think that's neat. 3 people out by the 3 minute mark
Cool story, this has nothing to do with what k said.

he has some point tho - as a casual gamer who doesn't want to be on a gen every possible second dbd is hard rn ;p
If first chase is bad, your chance to win a game drops down signifacantly.
If we talking 4 good people as surviviors - you almost every time win.
It's miserable to play for casual survivors.
even 4 good players on comms easily lose to the killer. It’s insane

No terror radius add extra spook
This would add fear for sure, but if they do it the they need to eliminate any perk that allows the killer to see auras.

It’s not fun, it’s not scary
So it's fun when you get to escape for you...
But how would any buff for survivors make it scarier? Oh no, it's easy to escape, so scary....
Another pointless reply… they said they changed everything to make the game scarier. Do you even watch their town halls? My point is that making it easy for the killer with op perks and huge hit boxes does not equate to scarier. Please read whole post before replying.

Oh no! Anyways...
Moving on from your pointless reply. People like me make up the bulk of the player base. Ignore our feedback and the game goes belly up…. Anyways….

There is absolutely no excuse or reason you can give that slinger needs any of those current nerfs while Xeno is doing everything he did but better.
Slinger's TR got nerfed to a standard 32 meter radius because it was too low for a ranged killer without a lullaby. Xeno in crawler mode has a 24 meter radius and is effectively a ranged killer without a lullaby.
Slinger got a slight aiming delay because people felt his 1v1 was too strong with quickscope shots. Xeno has virtually no windup and no real punishment for missing multiple shots yet gets massively rewarded for hitting one by having virtually no cd on the tail attack and survivors make no distance.
Slinger is already a slow movement killer who has issues traversing the constantly large maps implemented Xeno has one of the quickest least strategical movement abilities in the game. Being able to constantly go in and out of tunnels AND get info while in them AND charge its power at an absurd rate even if it just lost it.
Other than sneaking up on people using M&A and his small TR slinger didn't actually do anything even remotely unfair and had a very high risk high reward kit that rewarded you for hitting shots and punished you for missing them with only addons to slightly alleviate that. (Which also got nerfed)
Xeno currently has mobility (and a stupid amount of it), ranged attack to hit over pallets and vaults, information (footsteps in tunnels), slowdown (since turrets are the only way to possibly counter the incredibly stupid crawler mode and you have to take time to set them up) the only thing it's missing to make it on par with Nurse and Blight is either incredibly stupid addons(Blight) or the ability to just ignore the basic counterplay mechanics put in the game for survivors (Nurse)
There is absolutely nothing slinger did pre-nerfs that Xeno can't do currently
So because Xeno is op you think DS should be too. No thanks

Just kidding. 50k concurrent players on steam during a random Monday. The verdict is in. People are playing the crap out of this game and the devs hard work on this last patch has not gone unappreciated. The forums are not the game. Want proof? Read the topics and comments then look at the viewership.
When you have no survivors left to play against then we’ll see how fun you think it is

There was literally a mod before the devs made a change that prevent the mod from working that would allow you to block players. And many high level players at the time did have long queues because surprise people will block people who beat them for easy games.
So everyone deals with toxic players because “good” players have long wait times? I’d still like to see the data on that lol I’d bet those “good” players are toxic af

do you know how many players there are on dbd? I don’t think anyone could block them all 😂 secondly the fact that being a toxic ######### could get you blocked from playing with others acts as a deterrent that lessens the act itself

thats terrible logic and false
You provide no counter evidence. I recently played against a literally flying Shape… but sure no abuse to worry about here.

Rip matchmaking completely then.
No-one would ever find a match because everyone would block eachother based on a tiny little thing they did in a match. Anyone will be too quick to block someone for a quick tbag, flashlight click, or even an endgame camp. It would get ridiculous.
I think you’d have to prove that out rather then just complain about a problem that Dosent exist. The problem of not having player choice to block is real and currently happening.

Ok, just telling you they’re not going to do it so don’t get your hopes up.
You don’t run dbd so I’ll keep saying the need is there along with everyone else. The only ones not wanting this are probably the toxic players
-
@Yatol said:
this can easily be abused and unhealthy for the game's health, only games that make blocklist work is fighting games.
Everything else in the game is already abused, at least this option gives the player power to prevent it
-
@dugman said:
The devs commented already they’re not going to implement block lists, they found it was too open to abuse.
I don’t care, the games abused a million other ways, at least this way I can block the abusers they haven’t figured out how to prevent yet.

I get the cons, but honestly, it shouldn't affect lobbies that badly. If 3 survivors CAN play against the killer but you blocked them, then you leave the lobby, not the killer.
In the end the people who suffer are
-the killers noone wants to play against
-the whiny survivors that block everyone.
-swfs would struggle if they all had huge block lists, but that would be their problem. And I say that as a largely swf player.
We would all benefit from getting less of either of them lol
I agree, in my mind a survivor who blocked would not match so the next in line would go in faster. If you group with friends then everyone deals with the combined block list. I by no means am a whinny survivor but seriously some killers and other survivors are just so bad and toxic lol

But what is toxic? You can say what you find toxic and would block for, but as so many others have said, the "jerk blocked for being toxic" miht not even be toxic, just they're good and someone got salty about it. Like when I down a Meg and she DCs just as I am about to pick her up... I'd say she's being toxic, but I'm sure she thought it was my downing her with a dire crow makes me toxic, hence why she DCed.
I mean I would love a block list, but so many others have made it clear why it would be detrimental in a game like this.
Why do you care what I consider toxic. Personally it’s my choice to his block or not. Again if I’m over zealous about block, I only punish myself with longer wait times.

Well i don't know if you speak for the whole community there. I have never seen a hacker in my 300 hours of playing on PC exclusively (playing since release and with/without X-Play).
Not that i deny that they are there but to go and rip the community apart just like that instead of taking care of the root of the problem isn't the solution.
He said he’d like the option to play only Council players, he did say force it on everyone. Personally I would turn the option on to not have computer players much more likely than trying to just get PlayStation players because I don’t mind playing other switch or Xbox players given the least likelihood to be cheating and similar play style in limitations
-
Banning a player from matching with you should be player choice. The only one waiting longer for games due to this policy would be the player who over uses block on others, or the jerk who got blocked for being toxic
