I think I speak for all of us when I say,
######### corn.

I don’t understand how that balances SWF. What if someone’s playing killer because they have no friends to play with? That killer would have to have a buddy with them to be effective against SWFs. I get that sometimes you have to put out fire with fire, but this wouldn’t solve anything.
-
Here’s an idea: what if SWFs were limited to only 2 people?
-
There’s no way you only had 45 seconds to defuse your hat. Also, 2 of Pig’s add-ons (specifically the ones that increase the chance of a skill check while searching jigsaw boxes) are completely useless. Does that sound “unfair” to you?
-
Don’t try to reason with toxic survivor mains. Toxic people tend not to be logical, but instead prefer bias and personal opinion. It’s just a waste of time and energy to try to reason with them.

It's not the gen speeds! The problems are in the map design, tiles and certain perks that can prolong a chase.
That, too.
-
Nope, it’s definitely gen speeds.

The challenges are organized in such a way that you can always reach the end of the Tome without having those characters, not necessarily so you can complete every other challenge.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1064701#Comment_1064701
Neither of those characters are available for shards, so we will not be using them in Tomes. Only characters that can be purchased with shards are eligible.
With all due respect, killers take a sizable amount of shards to buy. And judging by how harsh the shard grind can be, I still think it’s unfair to make someone have to spend 9k shards just to read a few paragraphs and get a small reward. Maybe if you gave killers a shard/auric cell discount whenever they’re featured in a tome, it would be much more reasonable to have them in the tomes in the first place.
-
I have every killer except for Oni, but that’s only because I want to see them actually balance their game before I spend another cent on it.

Imho i tried out antigen build, but they simply don't work... it's just a placebo effect, the only close thing to old ruin is Pop, but it doesn't work on many killers.. wanna know what's my best way to get a ''fun'' and a decent lenght game? slug a lot with infectous fright.. but hey in the game there is a perk who counter slugging aka Unbreakable.. so my best way to win or get a chance is a mix with slugging, tunneling and proxy camping(to punish late saves).. So my conclusion? games are not fun anymore, with ruin i could play nice, have a fun game and get only 2k, but that doesn't matter, i care more about fun than winning, this is not a competitive game. The saddest thing is that you can get genrushed even by potatoes now... and no, adjusting toolboxes will not fix this issue. That's my conclusion.
I’m doing just fine. I never get Ruin in my bloodwebs, so everything’s been the same for me. I just run CI as per usual.

As far as I'm aware it's one of those "they won't hunt you down for it, but if you get banned by EAC they can't help you" greyzone/use at your own risk sort of things. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!
No, you’re right. The devs couldn’t care less if you use one, but can’t help you if the game thinks you’re cheating.

There is a gold tablet in the Temple of Purgation that has Akkandian symbols...I think she speaks it.
Modern Jews read the Torah, despite Hebrew being a dead language. Does that mean people speak Hebrew in regular conversation? No, it doesn’t. And it’s clear that, when she speaks, she’s not just reciting what the tablet says, as she speaks the same language when stunned. If someone stabbed you in the back or bashed your head with a hundred pounds of wood, would you shout a quote from some ancient text? No. You’d say something like “Ow, what the hell?” That’s essentially what she does when stunned.

She's a preistess so she could have dealt with some exorcism. She also speaks Sumerian and Akkandian.
I just explained how she couldn’t possibly be speaking Akkadian. It would have been a dead language by the time she lived. Also, is true that, as a priestess, she may have done exorcisms, but the plague has nothing to do with demons. It’s just a disease, and the people of Babylon, Adiris included, saw it as nothing more than a disease. There is no exorcism needed.

thanks to http://www.assyrianlanguages.org/akkadian/index_en.php I was able to translate what The Plague says during her mori.
Addanika- Your attention please!
Dingir-God
Asapu-to exorcise/ to cure (by exorcism)
me- produce of sea and rivers (she worships the sea goat god)
So, when she does her mori she says, "Attention God, exorcise/cure the sea!"
You do know that “produce of the sea” means fish, right? And other such aquatic creatures caught for food. Also, Adiris begging the sea goat god to exorcise people doesn’t make sense in her context, as her people are suffering from a plague. Not from an infestation of demons.
Also, I did some research, myself, and I found out that the Babylonians are polytheistic. In other words, they believed that there was more than one god. So addressing a single god as “god” wouldn’t be that appropriate in a polytheistic pantheon. And to make matters worse for this theory, Akkadian was only spoken by the Babylonians in the second millennium BC, so between 2000 and 1000 BC. Adiris came from Babylon somewhere between 600 BC and 500 BC. Therefore, she cannot possibly be speaking Akkadian.
-
Wait... what? You serious? Why would giving her a cool down prevent survivors from getting hit by a hatchet? Also, it’s hard enough to actually play her. We don’t need BHVR to give her a nerf like that.
-
It’s really good on Haddonfield and Hawkins. Other than that, I’m not sure if it’s worth it.
-
Sounds to me like you were underestimating them. Killer main, btw, so no bias here.

I get headaches when i listen to it. Its lazy in my opinion and exctreamly boring. I dont get how fan made ones are more creative than the actuall music team.
Maybe try turning the volume down. It could be giving you a headache because of your volume. As for thinking it’s boring, it could seem boring to you because your expectations were too specific.

With these changes, doctor becoming too OP. I don't wanna play this game until these changes reverted. This game becoming M1 simulator.
Just cleanse. It’s that simple. Don’t touch a gen until you cleanse.

They obviously wouldn’t say that they don’t care. It’s just a guess judging by how dismissive of criticism they have been so far.

We expected outrage when doing a fundamental change to a perk used in such a large percentage of games. However, after playing with the new version, we're much happier with how it functions in the game as part of the whole system.
This isn’t just outrage, friend. This change will permanently affect the player base. We’re all incredibly disappointed in this change. Do not dismiss our criticism on the basis of “we expect outrage”. We want the game to succeed just as much as you do, so please don’t ignore our genuine problems with this patch.

I'd hesitate to call the Doctor and Lery's updates nerfs, especially given you haven't had a chance to play them first. I would say give it a try once the PTB is live. That's the point of a PTB, after all.
You guys made him slow down when shooting electricity, and gave him a cool down. On top of that, you made Snap Out of It easier to do. With all due respect, that sounds like a nerf to me.

Of course this is true - after all there has been no recent changes that have affected killers positively have there? Oh wait, Freddy got a really large rework and is now pretty strong, Balanced Landing got altered and that was a huge Killer complaint and many many more things. Fact is the Developers are not killer or survivor sided, they make changes for the better health of the game!
Reworking Freddy was not doing killers a favor. We were entitled to that rework because, last time I checked, we’re the ones giving you money. If we’re gonna pay, you’re gonna give us decent content. As for Balanced Landing, that wasn’t buffing killers. That was attempting to remove a cheesy exploit, being infinite loops. So no, you really haven’t been doing killers any favors as of late. Only doing things you simply had to do. Apologies if that sounded rude or harsh in any way, but that’s just the truth.

I would definitely say give it a try first. Having played around with it, it can be pretty nasty once you get some pressure. Combine it with Surveillance and you also get some outrageous tracking (since generators automatically regress). You'll always know which generators are being worked on.
Here’s a question; have you been trying this Ruin rework with other devs/play testers, or with actual players? Because if the first is true, then you’d be surprised just how differently we’d play against it.

You try hitting greats on console.
Sounds like a you problem. The devs shouldn’t have to change the game because people like you can’t hit skill checks. That’s just pandering and the expense of everyone else.
