Just make it so that if I press E, Dead Hard actives, remove the artificial delay.

If team mates don't run Bond they will do this and like others say it is usually by accident.
The thing random team mates do that really grinds my gears is running the killer to where a team mate or myself is on a hook. This is one of the stupidest things you can possibly do to your team and can lose you the match from that one misplay
That's the other thing I don't understand, why don't more people use Bond?

a tiny bit of logic and Occom's razer is all it takes.
Well you're wrong. Maybe it's a regional thing but I literally do see face camping every match. If you have nothing to add to the discussion of fixing face camping, get out.

It doesnt happen "literally every match"
Does blatantly lying make you feel good?
It does to me. How would you know, do you what every match I'm in?
-
@Crowman said:
Honestly I highly doubt actual facecamping is happening every match. You might be encounter normal camping where a killer is near the hook ready to defend against unhooks, but I doubt it's facecamping every match.
Not to mention hard camping strats can be dealt with hook trades close to the next hook state.
EVERY match, it literally just happened again after you posted that. I have a screenshot to prove it. He was just facecamping and punching me on hook early game.

Youre welcome to feel that way, but the devs (and most of us) do not.
What perks then?

There are perks that counter it.
Sorry but nope.

Just make it so if the killer is too close to a hooked survivor, their death timer goes slower. That will make camping a much more unviable strategy.
-
They would never let us see the true data, they're afraid to admit how strong SWF and frankly I'm not sure why.

Sweaty PC killers are ruining the solo Q experience, I'm absolute casual trash at this game and it still matches me against the sweatiest killers it can find. Not fun at all.
Solo Q desperately needs buffs.
Why don't you just get better at the game? (That sounds more mean than I intended it) The only thing worth complaining about is when they tunnel and facecamp, and in my experience that's almost always console killers. I'm able to predict the platform just by the how they camp lol
-
As I'm looking through the forums, I'm seeing you're more likely to get banned for complaining about hackers than if you were to ACTUALLY hack. This is disgusting behaviour.
-
The devs are survivor mains and want easy matches, that's why survivor in general is OP.
-
I'd rather a kind of reverse BBQ be baseline. Show the aura of survivors who are too close to the hook. Then maybe NPC survivoids will finally stop crouching nearby doing nothing, maybe they can do a gen instead.

Because that stuff can be a pain to code and with dbd’s already spaghettified code it probably won’t go to well either (not alot of people know this, but voice chat in CoD Bo3 actually lagged the game in multiplayer, idk why it did it but it did) its simply easier to just have stuff like discord, playstation voice chat, and xbox party chat instead
Plus like I said, bhvr stated it isn’t an exploit, its like saying people using xbox party’s to play swf are cheating or ps4 voice chat are cheating
Every other multiplayer game manages to have voice coms. "It's too hard :(" is a pretty poor excuse from a big studio.

BHVR has a discord server that has channels for people who want to SWF I am 100% sure its not an exploit, which devs have also stated is not an exploit, you might see it as an exploit but its not
Then why don't they add voice coms in-game?
-
They made Borrowed Time (One of the strongest and most used perks in the game) baseline while giving killers nothing to compensate for that. It's pretty clear.

Turn off cross play if camping offend you.
Yeah great idea just split the community up so we don't get any matches. The game is already dying enough as is because people are sick of being forced to play with hackers and abusive toxic maniacs.
-
@AnneBonny said:
you know you can turn off crossplay right
Yeah and then get no matches because I only get paired with other people who turned that on. It should just filter out the console players.
-
It's genuinely disgusting how toxic console killers are. Now I'm watching one just slug the last guy at the exit gate and leaving him to bleed out for fun.

The killer is outnumbered so whatever.
If they took away the ability for killers to see survivor profiles it wouldn't change much and I don't care either way.
I've suggested and would like to see them remove being able to see prestiges in pregame lobbies since it causes so much dodging too.
I just want to play DbD, not spend my time waiting in lobbies because people keep dodging for frivolous reasons.
Better than wasting an entire match against a laggy killer from China or a killer with a dozen bans on record who can noclip.

If all people did was dodge hackers from seeing their profile then it would still be in the game.
But people dodge for all sorts of stupid reasons. Stuff like "that player likes to play Clown and I hate playing against Clowns." Truly stupid reasons.
That feature is long gone never coming back.
And yet killers are allowed to see survivor profiles? Explain that.
-
@ByeByeQ said:
I could agree with a killer ping indicator in the lobby that like we used to have in the good old days.
But being able to view the killer's profile before the game is a big fat hell no. If it was a good thing back in the day they would have kept it in the game but all it did was lead to excessive dodging which was bad for the game. It leads to more people using private profiles and is pointless for cross-players anyway.
As it is now players are still given too much information in lobbies. Some survivors see my P56 Jeff and instantly dodge assuming I am a cheater without even glancing at my profile which is nowhere near level 1 or private.
I'd much rather be playing in matches of DbD rather than sitting in lobbies. As it is now any player who spends their bloodpoints is already using more than half their playtime in DbD not actually in matches.
I should be allowed to know if the killer is laggy, has a history of hacking, has bullied and harassed me in the past, and what platform they're on. Scared I'm going to dodge? Yeah I am, because I want to have fun, I don't want to vs a laggy hacker who facecamps and threatens me. That makes me the bad guy? The devs seem to think so..
-
@YOURFRIEND said:
How did this used to work, precisely? I don't know what you're asking for.
You used to be able to check the killer's Steam profile while in lobby.
-
@Thr_ust said:
I kinda agree in terms of the toxicity and stuff, but doesn’t the lobby have a little bar in the bottom corner that lets you know if the ping/connection is ass?
Only for yourself, not for the killer. Even if your connection is fine, a laggy killer will still be hitting you from across the map and teleporting around and there's no way to avoid it.

Nerf? Deadhard was buffed, that's why it's even more popular than ever.

What the heck. That's a long Time for one heal.
Exactly, it's an awful perk and no one should take it.
