Was actually thinking of a similar combo with Bubba. Using this perk with PWYF will let you turn any survivor your currently chasing into your obsession, thus...PWYF stacks on an instadown killer...yikes, lol.
Every non-basement Bubba will use this. One they stun you, if there are high walls you have a good chance of cutting them off and chainsawing them due to zero terror radius. If they get away, free stack. Win-win.
Not a problem, though, since I reckon Bubba needs buffs way more than Mikey.

I mean, unless you're suggesting that survivors should somehow just not be allowed to be stalked by Myers ever, I don't see how it's any different than a Myers who runs Spirit Fury, which is also pretty common.
This is beside the fact that dedicated servers are a thing and he can literally stalk through solid stone without even needing to directly look at you anyways.
Enduring spirit fury are two perks. It requires 3 pallets to be played before it's a lose-lose scenario for the survivor. Myers can stalk you with moderate bonus at best from one add-on.
Nemesis is one perk. It requires only 1 pallet to be played before it's a lose-lose scenario for the survivor. Myers gets to stalk you with considerable bonus from one add-on.
It's not "different", it's just stronger. Too strong in my estimation.

If I see the obsession switch without a DS or something, I'll just throw pallets down 1 second early.
Myers loves to respect pallets and stalk you, though. It's a lose-lose. Drop it early and get stalked, stun him and give him a stalking bonus.

It doesn't change the amount of stalk in a game though, you're still hard capped with how many tier 3s you can gain, so I don't have a problem.
They want obsession switching to be relevant? This is the sort of stuff that's going to happen because of it.
Super fast fragrant tuft of hair is still a thing. And if you let Myers stalk everyone completely, you've probably lost and he's farming you at this point.

It's going to make remember me and play with your food easier to stack, but I wouldn't see this as broken. At least no more than enduring/spirit fury. Just a decent perk combo.
I don't mind at all that dark devotion and furtive chase combo well with it, as these perks have not been super strong anyway.
As for rancor: Even if you could perhaps mori multiple survivors, I think the exposed effect would only happen once, and it doesn't seem too crazy. It's the very end game after all, and having multiple perks that are mainly useful for the endgame comes with opportunity cost.
On the add-on side, there aren't too many that depend on the obsession status. There's black box, but that's only at the start of the game so that doesn't matter.
The only thing I see as problematic is therefore Judith's journal.
They gave myers the yellow memorial flower with slightly and the green J. Myers memorial with moderately. They could have added a purple one with considerably, but didn't continue the set that far. Probably with good reason. And now, with nemesis, it's kind of like they did.
It could get pretty oppressive, especially comboed with the fragrant tuft of hair.

I'm not worried about the oblivious part. It's the fact that you can turn any survivor into a target that is worth 40% more stalk.
Until now, the addon has been balanced by the fact that you needed to find your obsession in order to get this great bonus, but now you can just turn the first survivor you find into your obsession rather easily (once you're out of T1, that is).

@Akiro this is exactly why Billy is so good. He often finishes games so fast he doesn't even get emblem. Its proof of strenght.
He also relies on risky plays on higher ranks as straight forward chasing wastes to much time.
This is what I mean when I say people define strength according to killing rather than pipping. Depends on how you see it. I feel that as long as emblems and not kills are the way you rank up, it ultimately means that emblems (rather than kills) are the point of the game.

This is exactly what I mean. People see strength as ability to end games fast but, technically, emblems are the point of the game; because that's how you rank up. So, shouldn't the ability to consistently pip be the most appropriate definition of strength?
Depends on how you see it. if you look at killing or at ranking up as the indicator of strength.

I agree with the majority of posters that Billy is overrated.
I believe people rate him according to his ability to down fast and get many kills in high ranks, and not according to his ability to consistently pip in high ranks.
The red-rank killers I watch on twitch might get 4k's with Billy almost as often as Nurse, but they blackpip 90% of the games because the chaser emblem is constructed in a way that punishes Billy, and they very rarely get over silver. If they 4k fast, with 4 or 5 gens left, they get bronze. Ending chases fast does not make up for the fact that you don't accrue many hits throughout the game. This means that Billy's pipping frequency is honestly probably in the lower half of the killers (if we are looking at the best players at higher ranks) even though he's definitely top 3 at getting kills at the same time.
It's quite paradoxical.

A Xenomorph is actually a humanoid (at least for the purposes of animations). They've got big ol' heads, but they walk upright on two legs and have two arms sticking out to the side. They might be a bit slouched, but so is the hag. Animations wouldn't really be a limiting factor for a Xenomorph.
The bigger issue would be how they fit thematically. So far all of the killers have been human. Regular people that were taken by the Entity. It's not too terribly out of place to see any of the current killers running around in the existing maps. Having an actual alien running around a hospital, a preschool, or the streets of Haddonfield is a different story. They might not look out of place on a spaceship, but it would be a little weird seeing them down here.
On the flip side, it would also look pretty weird to have the Trapper or the Nurse running around the USCSS Nostromo.
Basically it's possible to make it work, it's more a matter of fitting with the theme of the game.
They run on all fours, though.

If I were you I'd find room for make your choice in your Hag build as well.
-
Logically it shouldn't, no.
But then again not everything about pipping is logical, and based on the text it's not clear to me.
Anyone know for sure?

I'm only talking about benevolence emblem points. Not blood points. The quotes I've included in my first post are copied from the wiki under the benevolent emblem.
-
Combine it with perks and map offerings that synergize with it (e.g. the game map), otherwise don't run it on non-doctor killers imo.
-
I've been watching ryanpez69 a bit since the pipping changes.
He's a godlike hillbilly, so when he was moving through the purple ranks he was stomping most games. I'm talking 4k 5 gens or 4k 4 gens most games. He black pipped just as many as he pipped, if not more. And this is purple, not red!
EDIT: Never mind, I went over some of his vids looking for an example, and I realized at least one person dc's vs. him in most games, so that's probably why

I'm aware that I was more spitballing ideas than presenting solutions.
I don't know why I mentined all killers, as many of them do indeed have powers that make you not want to commit to looping; that's true.
The most useful ones would probably be:
Pig (learning when and how to use and how to vs her power in a loop).
Billy (when and how to curve with m2, and how to avoid it. When to settle for the m1).
Huntress (when you can crouch to avoid hatchets and when she can find an angle, the right timing to fake a vault etc).
And maybe Wraith for the generic m1 match-up.
I was thinking perkless and addon-less, and I suppose every tile variation doesn't have to be recorded either. As long as there are a few different scenarios available to practice, I think it would be a relief for those who don't have good KYF opportunities, though. A new Billy trying to learn how to curve around a car in public matches can be a dragged-out and humiliating experience (and possibly a personal experience of yours truly).
And let's be honest. It takes countless repetitions to learn how to consistently fast-vault in a confined space, I'm sure we've all encountered people who spend an entire public match just practising their moves (or indeed seen it on stream, no names).
Hmmm...Maybe what we really need is an obstacle course. Like the police academy, but with more blood. Or even just letting us solo-explore maps and run around might go a long way. I guess I'm still just spitballing...
PS. How do you know I don't possess a prototype futuristic 3D-printer assembly line which allows me to actually download a car? The gall of these preconceptions!
