You are a curious beaver indeed, I have been 100% disconnecting from host either in lobby or 30 seconds into the game. Going to try loading the game without the fix and see if that works.

Have you ever seen "how to enable eac" tutorial? It's right there on official steam site.
And what kind of issue thar occurs only for dbd but not other games that already work on deck with eac?
What about few words from devs about current implementation status?
I don't need your answers but ask these questions for yourself
I think they are not going to do it, they are probably afraid of cheaters of something.

Guys, you need to calm down. As I said before, the DbD devs actually enabled the game for the Deck it just doesn't work because of a bug in Easyanticheat, which needs to be fixed by Epic. As soon as that's fixed, you can play the game, but you need to still be a bit patient.
There's no bug, the game fails to get EAC proton binaries meaning that devs haven't turned on proton support.

So tired of using virtual machines to play lol
