Not really. With a key you need to be able to find the hatch, which the killer may have already closed, so you just go and open. With a mori, you need to win two chases.
The main point is, both complete the goal of the team early. For the killer it's to kill survivors and for the survivors it's to escape. Both should be nerfed in some way, but not in a way in which they become useless.
Erm the gens still need to be done for key to even be used unless its the last survivor in which it doesnt matter how many gens are done for all to leave every gen has to be done which is basically the end of the game and for three you. Need 4 gens and two you need three where killers have to get that first chase and mostly stay around the hook and tunnel the person off hook to mori in most cases but not all some killers not you get your second hook in then mori and in that case i dint really mind being moried

Brown key on brown background.
I miss seeing the key at the lobby sometimes. No probs I see it in game I D/c, ill take the 5.
I d/c again against a "hidden" key get 15 mins I'll just stop playing killer.
1 gen to go, 3 survivors down the hatch, no thanks.
So how about they make it alot easier to see keys coming in, like you can see medkits, boxes, so I can dodge that #########.
Yours Sincerely
Another killer who is about to just walk away.
Lol thats sad you duck and dc lobbies. Then you get mad about it but uk what happens lmao you make no sense plus Its not that deep because you see a key. The key cant even be used till either the gane is about over or is over most times when i bring a key the killers see mines just fine and i tend to get tunneled and face camped hard and then get a nice msg from the killer after words saying thats what i get for bringing a key -sighs- but we dont have that luxury to lobby duck when killers bring moris or have a good totem spit for davour hope and they start to mori everyone because its a bypass for moris x.x if you cant find it in time. Soon as we see that last offering not turn over we're like welppp this killer is gonna be sweaty for the moris because most killers i come across mori on first hook and tunnel that person so next time you complain and be such a crybaby think like really think about does this go both ways and am i just being a (bad word) because you want the easy way and would you just sound dumb all together.

Try to play as killer rank 6. Three SWF all rank one, one random. Genrushed - one kill - three escaped in hatch key from chest. "Balanced"
Eh they still had to put work into using that key its not like its "oh i found a key guys lets go" they have to still do 4 or all of the gens to use that key since one person died. Killers will complain about keys but not how bringing devour hope is a bypass to moris after 3-4 hooks if the totem isnt found ๐คข ew "balanced" huh

You ######### kidding me?
A killer has to hook each survivor 3 times. For a total of 12 hooks.
Green Mori bypasses two of these hooks. Requiring, if used, only a mere 10 hooks for a 4k 'win'. That bypasses 1/6 of their objective.
A key to unlock a hatch, while also bypassing 1/6 of their objective, is not nearly as fair, because unlike the Green Mori, *it activates for EVERYONE in the match, not just for the single survivor*.
Meaning, a Mori'd survivor can mean the other three can still recover, or do objectives. The Killer has one OFFERING that gives him the chance to do this to all survivors.
The Survivors have not one, but TWO ITEMS that can open the hatch and instantly win matches for all survivors.
Don't you even DARE compare a Green Mori to a Purple or Pink Key.
Eh but then its not like you can just instantly use a key you have to have a certain amount of gens done and people alive to use it. if everyone is still alive ALL gens must be done to even use the key and 4 for three survivors and 3 for two and any for the last so its not as if its a easy win here. with moris killers only need one hook and they can mori that survivor and most times when killers bring moris we expect them to tunnel off first hook and mori us because thats whaf happens 85% of the time unless they are a respectable and good killer who knows what they're doing will get two hooks and then mori on death hook so to even compare moris to keys is bull. Lol its like gen rushing some killers say their matches last 5 minutes right because of gen rushing same goes for killers that bring moris and auto tunnels to use them mostly pink ones for green ones i mostly see killers use it on the survivor they dont like the most from that match lol or the one that gave them a run for their money i dont see yellow ones much when it comes to moris so i cant really speak in that but if someone has a key i dont think killers should complain about it since work still has to go into using that key to start with so this thread is highkey pointless so what if you dont get your 3k-4k and half the times we dont even get to use that key we brought lmao for the killers that really pay attention before the match starts will see the key and 50% of the time we get tunneled like heck just because we brought the key. Its not that big of a deal ๐คท๐ฝ

In all fairness with the sabo changes... All the new sabo really did there was remove the requirement to presabo hooks. Hooks can be saboed fast enough for the action to be done before a killer can finish a hit cooldown animation.
Yea true but then again me personally from the games i play i rarely see anyone saboing hooks

So im supposed to have 5 minute games where all gens pop and i can't do anything about it oh wait i downed someone ill go hook them oh no a survivor has the new sabotage and runs in front of me and instabreaks the hook what am i supposed to do? just drop the survivor so i do that and go chase the other guy surprise surprise right when i leave the survivor gets back up by unbreakable or is healed. Such a fun game to play when my job is to kill people but the game basically is against me doing that exact thing. (Also i see a lot more surivor threads like the occasional camping and this killer needs nerfed) but feedback is good because the devs need to realize what a mistake sabotaging and gen speeds are right now.
Killers: complains about survivors pre-sabotaging hooks
Devs: changes that so they cant
Killers: still complains about the new sabotage changes
Survivors: well whatever
---------------------------------
I dont see alot of sabotaging hooks going on much honestly (from the games i play) most of the time i play against killers that camp, tunnel, dc, or they slug the last two because they want their 4k badly i guess. And if your a good player which i feel somewhat confident in being and you run a killer 3-4 gens sometimes 5 and they are committed on getting you when they finally get you they face camp you and hit you till you die and if your team gets you off hook your just tunneled because they are upset that you ran them for so long or they bring a mori and they go after you for your cheeks lol and wont mori anyone else. Look i will get out of about 70% of my matches but half the time ill just break even or ill pip sometimes depip even though ive done half the gens got chased for 1-2 gens saved maybe one or two times and then and did a few totems it doesn't bother me if i lose or win i only get mad if my teammates are some potatoes or if the killer is a complete jerk sometimes but its funny then i move on to my next game and get over it and thats that. You dont need a 4k every game and us as survivors dont need to escape every game it just all depends on skill, maps, perks, and the person or people your going against

And all of those are countered easy too
All the hexes are killed in 5 seconds, BBQ is countered by perks, lockers, and being in the range
EGC is not strong, One hit down killers are powerful, but not op, by the start of Infinite tier 3 pops, it literally will have a few gens done, no heal meta, and we also can only watch you guys jump in hatch. I can't tell if this entire post is a bait or not, also I never say entitled whatever
My point was made in my post as i asked so killers dont have it easy? And killers can close the hatch when its open only time you watch us jump in is when one when find it before you do but your right there or two you let us jump in and not be a [BADWORD] and snatch us out instead

Man, lets kill every strong killer so survivors have it easy
So killers dont have it easy? You have ruin, devour hope, blood Warden, BBQ, NOED, end game, one-hit killers, infinite tier 3 Myers, sloppy butcher, you can close the hatch, haunted grounds, you can open at the gates, you can kill us and hook us mean while we can stun you with a pallet or flashlight for what 3 to 4 seconds, dont get me started on how many pallets they have taken from maps, to make it easy for you guys, you get speed boosts and are already faster then us to begin with, and so much more lolll. You took our insta-heals, nerfed any perk that we have to get a bit of distance durning chase, nerfed ds and bt, complained about MOM got that nerfed because we instead of leaving tried to help others escape too instead of letting them get tunneled to death, hmmm idk everytime we get a op perk or thing its nerfed or changed completely because killers think its overpowered because they cant handle it. But the killer is overpowered its self most of the killer perks I named is what i see killers builds to look like 80% of time killers are ensured kills with endgame if you dont get out before the time thats a free kill for the killer they can close the hatch and often times the gates spawn close to each other another kill for the killer if its a last man alive thing other then that its slugging the last two survivors because you want your 4k so badly. Dont even get me started on tunneling and camping. When i say camping i mean face camping and proxy camping. But look killers have so much to ensure they can get kills and to help them out overall. And for triggered killer mains that reply to this really think lmao before you call me a "entitled survivor" because thats what yall like to cry when we call you out. What do you think you are when your crying to the devs to nerf survivors when you dont even think about all the advantages you already have? ๐ thats all i have to say tho.
-
Well I run BT at all times these days because alot of the killers seem to either have NOED, BW, or just camp and tunnel that one person after the last gen is popped. So it doesn't really matter to me if im playing alone or swf. I'll try to find the totem or just save if possible even if i died doing it or not because I don't really care as long as im having fun. There are sometimes when playing swf where you or your friends just say leave them and everyone just leaves if the killer is really just annoying the whole game and uk you won't be able to unhook them. So eh...

The description of them is based on their teachables. Meg's teachables are the ones that can give you tons of distance against many killers.
True but i mean using them only 60% work because ill use sprint or balanced and its like i never used it because they are the same before i used it because of how fast they are but with me its only good on some loops and not so much good for distance from my experiences ive had
-
I personally see this alot not sure about pc players so i cant speak for them but on ps4 and xbox they play like this 75% of the time if not they just use his speed boost like a legion with no mending effect and dont even use their stalking power and just teabag, another one is tunneling and bring a mori and killing everyone first hook and they would also use the first method of this whole thread so help with that and they love to teabag like they did something amazing for some reason. That normally what happens when i get a Gf it makes me not wanna play that match and makes me ready for the next one lolll but its the game people are gonna play like that when they really want a 4k badly or just to be a [BADWORD]. We kinda have to get over it even tho it sucks.

Here's the thing, Killers have their insurance Perk in the form of NOED and maybe Blood Warden (but that's a stretch). While Survivors have Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Sprint Burst, Balanced Landing, Lithe, Borrowed Time, Mettle of Man, and Decisive Strike all as insurance Perks, and they also have the Purple Insta-Heal add-on that gives a free hit too. So does it make Survivors noobs for using Perks that are super useful? No. But then it somehow makes Killers noobs for using their single super-powerful Perk. And as a reminder, NOED can be destroyed and can only be used at the end game. While all the Survivor perks (and add-on) I listed can be used throughout the entire trial and CAN'T be disabled in any way that will last the rest of the trial (with the exception of Adrenaline).
True but most of those perks you named for survivors have been nerfed but killers are just as bad as survivors some play for fun yea ok true, but some are also super sweaty and some just dont care. You guys have NOED, Blood Warden, and even End Game and i do agree Blood warden can be used as a insurance perk and can be very over powered with Blood Warden. Think of it like this killers get op perks and 80% of the time only use those as their builds. Survivors get a few op perks and they end up nerffing them because the killer main community will complain so much about it. Killers can have insta downs but we can't have insta heals, and don't say we do have insta heals because we don't anymore. We have to wait a whole 16 seconds for it to even work that's not an insta heals that's a heal over time and if we get hit at all in those 16 seconds its just gone a takes your medkit with it. we also have bottle bottle time which is ok sometimes if you use it at the right moments. We can loop a killer for 3-4 gens get face camped because of it. And they will sit there till the gens pop and run off with NOED and get 1 to 2 downs with it if theres totems in the game or they will bring a mori and hook you once and tunnel you right off the hook just to mori you. But what im saying it it goes both ways. So its not like we complain for no reason when killers have it easier at most times not all the time but most. So if you get called a noob for using NOED then ok? That's just how it is viewed to us because of how it works.
