Killers like Trapper, Hag and Cannibal can easily get use out of the basement..
There are 4 lockers (2 at exit, 2 in back) and a chest for survivors..
Late game, its often effective at luring survivors for an unhook which has potential to be more than one kill..
There's also Monstrous Shrine to consider as well..
-
I imagine the amount of killers running PWYF, Fired Up or NOED to compensate the loss of BL to be quite high as well..
(Not a complaint, a simple observation upon circumstances)
-
I do the same thing.. Smack me with a pallet then proceed to aggressively t-bag me? That's a paddlin..
-
Ah, Detectives Hunch.. You will never NOT be useful..
-
Same, quite frankly..
My most recent match, I had a Nancy lead the killer to me mid chase after slapping them with a pallet.. After not having any distance or reliable loops nearby, I was put in the basement..
After my friend unhooks me when I reach 2nd stage from 1st, which already has me fuming, guess who leads the killer STRAIGHT to me again..
I never DC'd so fast in my life.. XD

Rank 5+ on Xbox One
I dont normally run in to much toxicity, MUCH.. I'll have the occasional TBagMcGee or the "I'm Over Here" flashlight clicker but nothing really over the top..
As Killer, TBaggers are dealt with.. Promptly.. By a face/proxy camp.. and a HARD tunnel..
As Survivor, its a common form of communication.. "Hello" "I see you" or my favorite "Hatch is here".. I don't make it a point to tbag killers unless I'm at the exit gate and they deserve it..
-
Killers seem to do that with hatch as well..
It's most common with GhostFace in my experience but they'll drop you near hatch, close it, teabag then hook you..
Why waste my time?
-
I mean, I can see where you're coming from, but its really no cause for complaining.. There's plenty of ways survivors can outmatch Killers and vice versa.. I havent played Killer seriously enough in the passed few days (been trying to farm up BP for teachables) so I wouldn't know about the game being "Killer sided".
Anywho, good luck in the coming matches..
-
Wraith was also a favorite of mine in the beginning and I genuinely never had any issues with him..
Sure, you get the occasional string of bad games but everyone has their definition of a "bad game"..
I do agree, Wraith needs a bit of a touch up as far as visibility on some well lit maps goes, but nothing completely overbearing..
-
I play both sides and all I can add to this conversation is NOED can eat lemons.. There are FAR better perks to use than a totem that can be ripped..
-
When I'm Killer, if someone DCs, I'll give the survivors the win, no matter the add-ons I'm running.. It always brightens my mood..
I've also got like 50+ 4th Anni wedges so I also try to farm with people with I throw them on..
I was playing Legion last night and I was doing fairly well, had 2 sacrificed and was chasing a Dwight on his last hook..
When I got within distance of a lunge near a hook, Dwight stopped.. I stopped.. He comes toward me and points at me then the hook.. I said no and guided him to a gen.. I let him go.. The meg that was still alive was not so fortunate..
I played Demo last night as well.. All the survivors came to me and booped me.. I couldn't help but want to let them go..
-
The amount of constant complaining in the community is disgusting.
I do believe that Skarkio made a valid argument and all of the boohoo-ing and wah-ing is really just a desperate cry for attention.

To answer the question;
No, looping is not as bad as camping. As killer, you have a constant variable known commonly as "Bloodlust" o help counter act it, as well as your power, depending on who you choose.
As a survivor, camping is usually dealt with in one of 3 ways: 1 - Left alone to do gens. 2 - Someone with borrowed time and mettle of man or decisive strike helps out. 3 - Survivor pulls themselves off the hook.
From the survivors perspective, have a 1 use perk to counter an assuming match long plan isnt as bad as the killer perspective dealing with a nuisance for 60-90 seconds.

Leatherface
People that use him tend to solely rely on his power to get downs then camp the absolute hell out of that person when they hook him..
It's extremely annoying to the point where I will straight up DC at match start if I hear his chainsaw rev..
-
I think the only thing that makes me salty about Bubba (from a Survivor PoV) is the fact that a majority (not all) strictly use his power to get downs and kills..
I'm sure having that 1 shot potential is awesome (I don't own Bubba yet) but having a Bubba constantly relying on a free moving 1 tap is annoying..
It's already hard enough trying to get away from killers, now I have to worry about getting 1 tapped just because someone can't basic properly?
Anywho, on topic, when I encounter a "Bubbas Basement" strategist, my simple answer is: "Dont go into the f**king basement"
"What if your team gets caught and hooked there?" Well, shouldn't have gotten caught.. Imma do this gen and get the rest of us outta here..
"What if you get caught and hooked?" Easiest decision to DC of my life.. I'm never getting off the hook with a 1 tap killer so close to the hook.. I'd much rather DC and find another game than sit on a hook, wasting both my and my teams time..

Survivor: Jeff - I think it's because after reading his bio, I relate to him very well.. Claudette used to be my main for the same reason..
Killer: Legion - They were the first killer I actually became interested in learning mechanics for.. I get messages constantly about "Why do you play Legion?" and "They're such a low tier killer"..
Honestly, I don't see the purpose of tier lists.. I mean, I do just fine with Legion.. Sometimes I wipe whole teams and sometimes I end up with 1-2 kills.. Either way, I have a lot of fun playing them.. So much so that I even bought Joey and Susies outfits for them..
-
I think its fair.. It gives survivors time to unhook anyone that is and help them escape..
Survivors shouldn't be condemned to death just because their first hook just happened to be at the end game..
It also allows survivors to deal with any potential problems, I.E. NOED should the need arise..
