If you want the basement hooks to break, then I want survivors who can't recover. No hook meta was a thing pre-sabo nerf. You had 4 survs with toolboxes and all running sabo and you would have no hooks in 5 minutes, which meant you had only the basement hooks to use. Which then caused every killer to use IG (Iron Grasp) and Agitation just to simply get to a single hook. Which then prompted the nerf to sabo and IG, destroying both metas. We started slugging a lot because we had no hooks to use. Granted this was a while ago. But just painting a picture of why things happened. If you want to not be slugged - then we want hooks.

Do you really find that enjoyable though?Might as well play a single player game with godmode.
The fun lies within the interaction between killer and survivor, with franks mixtape you simply take away all of that and replace it with free hits.
It's boring AF.
yeah well i dont like spending 15 minutes chopping wood.

Just wanted to comment and say thanks to @TrueKn1ghtmar3 and @PigMainBigBrain I will save these for later when I get frustrated again. I really needed to read that because i've become sloppy, bad, and had gotten really upset and stressed and fallen into the survivors plays. Really good words of advice, thanks for the actual good thread.

This game will always and forever cater to survivors. And if you don't believe me then think upon this, why do survivors tbag at exit gates, behind pallets, behind a vault location, on top of hills, 2nd story houses, visibly across the map, while unhooking another survivor (if another is nearby), safely run out exit gate doing a conga-line (preventing hits).

Imagine a perk when every time you hook someone all gens that aren't being actively fixed start regressing, and all gens being fixed lose 6/8/10 percent of possible progress. My intent with the perk is to encourage killers to chase and hook as much as possible and dissuade camping. Additionally, there is counter play, you just have to stop fixing every time you see the killer pick someone up, so the gen will only regress, and you can start fixing again.
But, there is also synergy with knock out, so survivors can't see when you pick people up, so that specific mind game is more in the killers favor.
What do yall think?
To be honest, how is taht suppost to work?
Thats a perk that can COMPLETELY be nullified by survivors as you explained. Regression is really weak as the devs explained last Q&A and is not viable if thats the only effect. No killer would use such a perk.Knock out is a useles perk too. I tried in the last days to get a slugging build together and SWF makes that perk useless too.
Its amazing how much the game breaks due to SWF.

Here is my thoughts: No survivors should be able to stand in the face of a killer and feel safe.

It will always be survivor skewed in terms of balancing because they cry that a killer might be able to actually do it's job for once. (idk maybe, kill (or stop) the survivors?) I played tombstone + tuft myers the other night and it got to a "hatch standoff" (Which shouldnt exist in the first place) and surprise surprise, he didn't tbag or afk in front of the hatch, wonder why? I asked him after in chat but I got no response, huh funny how once the killer actually has power (like they should) they're actually a threat now instead of just toys for survivors.

I thought this was official while I was reading. Ties lore really well. Would love to see the iconic Vigo (surprised you painted the character female, I thought it would be a male, but I like your description better!) in the game. Along with this fast, trap like stealthy killer. Imagine being Vigo with a hooded cloak, then see the spider zoom by on all 4's like that one horror movie. After finishing reading I really hope they take some inspiration from this post this was well written. Seriously devs, add vigo... Also I lke her determination like she can save Phillip and that sets her to journey and try to find him and maybe he's still savable... oh but she hasn't seen what Phillip has become. Anyways this is getting long now, but I loved reading this post and had to come back and comment.

Okay, I have found where to report someone. After checking the rules, only hardcore things they absolutely need video for. (like cheating and such) but soft things like griefing or taking the game hostage, working with the killer, trolling, video is not required but you can submit it. Finally. After years of searching, I can now report my video evidence directly.

I had also found their rules on reporting someone. I am reading that now. Maybe something like that should be more, I don't know, more visible maybe?
Interesting though.
