I think you mean call of brine. When a survivor completes a good skill check on a gen affected by that perk, the killer will receive a loud noise notification. Also, please aware that in my opinion, you can't always rely on that. When you're in the middle of chasing a survivor on the other side of the map, you may hear the notification but you might not see where it's coming from. Therefore, I believe the perks should be two different colors for the auras of the gens they're affecting. I like the idea of the call of brine aura color being a ghostly green.

This is true but it won't tell you which gen is which. In my opinion, you can't rely on that.
I also realized that a killer could run into same problem using discordance and/or call of brine with surveillance. I believe that perk should have a different aura color too.

Thank you for your response, Nicholas. It doesn't seem like I have access. I am missing the following survivors: Steve, Nancy, Kate, and Adam. I am missing the following killers: the spirit, the clown and the demigorgon. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

Has this ever been resolved? I have the Dead by Daylight Nightmare Edition disk for PS4. The PS4 version works fine on the PS5 console but when I try to play the PS5 version, the Stranger Things content like Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington are grayed out and I can't access them. Also, Adam Francis is grayed out too. I don't understand why since he's not part of the Stranger Things DLC. I looked through all the posts here but I couldn't find a viable solution. Does anybody have any suggestions?

For some clarification, this means that the remaining DLCs that you won't have are:
- Halloween (Michael + Laurie)*
- Leatherface (Leatherface)*
- A Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy + Quentin), rather ironically*
- Saw (Pig + Tapp)*
- Darkness Among Us (Legion + Jeff)✝
- Demise of the Faithful (Plague + Jeff)✝
- Ash vs Evil Dead (Ashley J. WIlliams)*
- Ghost Face (Ghostface)*
- Cursed Legacy (Oni + Yui)✝
- Chains of Hate (Deathslinger + Zarina)✝
*This means that the chapter/paragraph is liscened, and subsequently you must use money or Auric Cells to purchase them.
✝This means that the chapter/paragrath is original, and can be bought using money, Auric Cells, or Iridescent Shards (collected through playing the game) to purchase these characters.

So, here's how it works.
The Nightmare Edition of Dead By Daylight includes the base game, plus the DLCs of the base game.
The base game, being the same "award-winning" game you're on about, is just "Dead By Daylight". That's it. That's all it's called.
As far as I can tell, this is for the PS4. This means that the base game also includes the DLCs of:
- The Last Breath (Nurse + Nea; free)
- Left Behind (Bill; free)
- A Lullaby for the Dark (Huntress + David; free)
- Of Flesh and Mud (Hag + Ace)
- A Spark of Madness (Doctor + Feng)
Furthermore, it comes with the following DLCs as part of the Nightmare Edition (not included with the purchase of the base game). These DLCs are:
- Curtain Call (Clown + Kate)
- Shattered Bloodline (Spirit + Adam)
- Headcase cosmetics pack (Cosmetics)
- Stranger Things (Demogorgon, Steve, Nancy)
Effectively, this make it the same as the Switch version plus Stranger Things.

The tagline says it features the original award-winning game. Would that be the The Last Breath?
