No,you can even report them with ticket and they still wont get banned.
That is what I heard from some too, and you need video proof as well. Makes me wonder how efficient EAC is.

When you play as a solo queue survivor there really are more negative experience than positive one - because you have to bear with both bad killer and bad teammate. Where else I think when you play as killer there are a fair amount of negative experience as well, but at least you get to narrate part of it.
It become pretty normal for me to take a break from the game because of the negative experience, and when I come back to the game yet again I am being reminded of why I leave the game in the first place.

It's another weird case of "Survivors/killer always did this or that most of the time and it is such a big issue" when most of the people have never seen or heard about it at all. It might happen in your region, but making a ranting post while making it sounds like a common and serious issue when it is not, is quite an eye-roll moment.

I been getting DCs a lot more often lately, It's mostly SWFs though DCing for their teammate to get hatch. Somewhat sucks because I can't get my BP for all hook states, I don't care that much but I hope people don't start relying on DCing when they play against killers they don't like or DC for hatch.
Whenever I play killer I never slug to prevent the hatch because it's so boring when I can just move on to the next match.
When a survivor is lucky and found the hatch first, then it is what it is. If you think it's only fun by getting 4k then do not complain when survivor DC, because survivors have no obligation to cater to your 4k play style either. Does it suck for the others when a survivor or killer DC? Absolutely. But you can't control someone just because they don't enjoy the experience and want to quit. There are players who will always DC regardless of the kind of penalty. Sometimes you just have to realize that this is just a game and move on.

I have the same frustration as you, and I did the same thing few times because it is just MISERABLE being slugged on the ground, having my time wasted when i just want to move on to the next game. When I play killer I never slug survivors just so hatch won't spawn or to get a 4k, because it's so boring! I never get why any of these killer enjoy wasting time trying to find the last survivor and prolong the game. If the last survivor is lucky, he get the hatch, or else I can try to find the hatch before survivor and have fun. A lot of times I still let survivor escape through gate after I found the hatch, as if I won a treasure hunting and wouldn't mind them escape.
I don't get the 4k mentality but each to their own I guess. It's the same as those killers who merely camp or trolling just to annoy the survivors (same thing apply to bad behaviour survivor as well).

Interesting enough I was more concerning about the game health at the beginning when they didn't sell much stuff beside occasional chapters. I know how much of an expense it is to run a game studio so I was wondering why they don't sell things like cosmetics. I don't really get why people think they are greedy. Cosmetics is something optional that doesn't break the game.
Like what dugman said DBD has it's up and down periodically. Players come and go from time to time and from what I can see the game is doing fine - it's not the first time players threaten to boycott or leave the game like when they feel killer/survivor need a buff. Some people think it's not enough, but the fact that the dev did listen and try to improve the game while constantly interact with the players is what keep the community strong and loyal. So for now I would say there isn't much to worry about.

It kind of doesn't make sense that killer can kick the event gen or camp them but survivors cannot do vice versa.

I tend to play mobile game or watch some videos while waiting for queue. But once in a while I will forget about the game since it's on a diff PC.

It's achievable but very luck based. Definitely shouldn't be in Tome 1. It's so much harder when you are solo queue when others won't leave the gen at 99.
