That's a good perspective. I'm glad someone that just started out this year has been able to put their input out like this. I'm hoping they listen to your some of your input. I was curious as to someone's thoughts on the game now would perceive it. I haven't played since the release of pyramid head and don't plan to until crossplay is released. Which I'm sure will be a buggy mess on release as well

Ooh that sucks dudes. I'm surprised y'all haven't given up. Hopefully you'll get them back at some point

The life states are gone before you take control of your character, with no possible response or counterplay to the life states not existing. Self-Care -- or any other perk -- is something that you can respond to and push back against in-game. If you think someone has Decisive Strike, you can slug them. If someone has Borrowed Time, you can go after them instead of the unhooked. If someone has Dead Hard, you can bait it out.
There is no equivalent counterplay to a red mori being present in a game, other than "just don't make any mistakes, but way more than normal." I said this before, but this would be like starting a game with two generators already being finished. You wouldn't tell players "well, just find survivors faster and win more chases" if there were an offering that made this happen -- you would be rightly livid at how far it tilts the game onto one side.
(And, for purposes of this discussion, I think we have to reasonably assume that a killer who brings a red mori plans to use it on all survivors at the earliest possible opportunity.)
I'm surprised seeing people actually complain about moris at all. I hardly ever see anyone use them, why try to "balance" them. Once you see the first survivor die most people hide and they're bound to escape through the hatch

The reveal is on the 26th right? Just a few more days and we'll find out

It really is a problem trying to play killer now. I'm just rank 15 so it doesn't feel too bad but it would be incredibly demoralizing to new killers .

You said you increased brightness but what about contrast on your tv? That usually makes a way bigger difference. Your tv is crazy dark

My friend started playing as killer and its ridiculous watching all these high ranked survivors just messing with her because they know they can after playing with her a few minutes.

I always hate when this happens. I've lost offering this way too if they quit almost immediately after the match starts

I hate the change as well unless we get individual killer ranks soon for the reasons you've mentioned. All this is going to do is make a lot more high rank killers quit or start intentionally deranking again.
Dude individual killer rank would be so nice

I'd love it, I never see the justifications as to why people don't like it valid enough to not do it, I'd rather have a bigger player base than someone thinking mouse and keyboard is really that much better
