  • Two matches in a row... somehow I was the first Survivor to get tunneled while getting unhooked in the Killer's face repeatedly. Before anyone says it, I'm not annoyed by the fact that the Survivor's might have been very new to DBD. My issue is that not only do you lose all of your items, but DCing two matches in a row also stacks in terms of time penalties. Why exactly would I stay in a match wh

  • Hey, so I needed to Google this because it's a very strange occurrence and it looks like I'm not the only one experiencing this. Let me start from the beginning... at certain times (more specifically when I'm chasing a Survivor or running from a Killer) my character will drastically slow down to where instead of running, they will start taking wide-open steps. Now, I wanted to make sure that it w

  • Matchmaking has been total garbage for awhile. I often go on rants about how terrible it is in SoloQ but today itself has been match after match of me being the 4th "Random" and being left to die after carrying the team. I'm not understanding the purpose of a "Block" and "Report" function if neither does anything. Blocking someone will only prevent them from messaging/ adding you on the same plat

  • I had a chill Nurse recently who I basically just stuck with for the entire match. It was SoloQ so as expected, the other Survivors weren't having anything to do with cooperation. Towards the end, I let her hook me as the other three Survivors watched... and then they ran off. She just looked back and forth shaking "No" and then messaged me. She felt so bad that my teammates left me on first hook

  • I like variety in my games so I don't always play with my friends... but lately, I have no idea what's going on with matchmaking. People were definitely hiding in corners and what not before, but now it's gotten so bad that not only aren't gens being touched but I'm more likely to die on 1st hook simply because other Survivors don't seem to care. Now when I go to play as Killer, it's the complete

  • I mentioned this awhile ago but oh my God.... out of my 20 matches today, 12 of them were on variations of Autohaven/ Bloodlodge and the other 8 matches were in the Swamp. I'm curious if this is happening to anyone else. I know that loopers seem to like the Autohaven variations but it gets very old after awhile. Aside from bringing a map offering, does anyone else feel that they are getting these

  • I switched off Crossplay thinking it would help... I ended up running into a duo (one Killer and one Survivor) that are now pretty much stalking me. The Survivor didn't like that I was hiding and trying to do the last gen (how dumb is that?) and from my understanding, the Killer initiated contact with this person and it went back and forth from that point. The Survivor could see my aura and kept

  • Unless it's a glitch, I just confirmed it. If you bring anything other than flan, the invitation won't spawn.

  • I was really looking forward to this event and all level 1 has are things for Haddie and Dredge? Please tell me that there are more costumes, etc. because that seems a bit... lame. When it was only Mikaela during the Grove event, it made sense because she is a witch and it was around Halloween. I'm hoping that more variety is added to the Masquerade event.

  • Out of my six matches so far, four of the Killers were Bots and the other two were outright running through walls and insta-downing all of the Survivors. I've had issues with cheaters in the past but to have this many matches in a row is very concerning. I thought this issue had been addressed but it seems to be worse than ever.

  • Hey, so I'm seeing a lot of videos and critiquing regarding totems (boons and hexes alike.) Both Survivors and Killers seem to be equally annoyed regarding spawning locations and how predictable they've become. One of the ideas that I came up with is to have active boons/ hexes teleport to different locations around the map (maybe every 60-180 seconds or so.) This would prevent Survivors from bre

  • I've had a few but one, in particular, takes the cake. I was so sure that I was going to die too. Killer was an Oni and nobody even bothered doing gens or helping one another. He started off by slugging everyone (some Survivors had a boon set up so they were reviving themselves). Eventually, it was down to me and another Survivor. Quick recap, my build was: Tenacity, Power Struggle, Flip-Flop,

  • Tunneling is just a different word for chasing. Seriously, let's break this down... The Killer's job is to chase, down, hook, and kill survivors. The survivor's job is to do gens and escape. If a Killer/ Attacker is chasing you in real life, what are you going to do? Turn around, wag your finger and say, "Hey! Quit tunneling me, you trash Killer!" Really... be sure to detail how that goes for y

  • I just happened to be streaming when it happened so I'm waiting for my stream to end before I clip the occurrence. It was an SWF but only one of them was low-key hacking. First I noticed that they were extremely fast which I chalked up to perks, but then two gens popped simultaneously when three Survivors were being chased (another red flag). Finally, the one survivor walked right behind a very t

  • I whole-heartedly enjoy playing on both sides. The problem I'm noticing (mostly on the survivor side) is that some of them really don't play Killer and therefore don't understand why Killers do certain things. I was the same way until I started spending more time as a Killer. I've been pretty bored lately so I started camping more and more... and some Survivors are cool with it, others... not so

  • So this has only happened with two of my Killers... I'll go to charge up attacks and my basic swings won't register (the arm goes up and then down as if I canceled it). Same with charged attacks (the bar will only fill halfway and nothing will happen). This has happened with my Doctor and for the first time today with my Bubba. It hasn't happened in months and this was the first time it ever happ

  • I don't know what buff was given to Legion but the game is virtually unplayable now. Clearly, people are having a good laugh too because out of my 28 matches tonight, 26 of them were Legions. People complained about Boil Over and CoH... I'm a Bubba Main and I'm telling you this Legion buff has gone way too far. It reminds me of when Boil Over got its original rework and Survivors were abusing it.

  • The more I ping-pong between Killer and Survivor, the more I have questions about things like looping. For example, As a Killer, I can encounter Survivors that just endlessly loop and no matter what, they seem to speed up when going around corners (and I mean visibly speed up). Then I switch back to Survivor to try the same play and it's like, "Okay this isn't possible. Clearly, I'm not grasping

  • I've wanted to see something like this for awhile... I have this idea for a Killer Bride. Similar to Nurse and Huntress but more human. She can hum the Bridal March while hunting her victims. After finding them, she can either laugh or say something like, "Till death do us part." As for the lore, it could be a story of betrayal which gave form to a seething rage that caused her to murder her form

  • Hey does anyone have news about the update that was confirmed for 11am today? I don't see anything happening.

  • I like to play a balance between Killer and Survivor because I like variety. I started to play Killer more and more due to my frustration with really terrible luck in terms of matchmaking. This past week however was unbelievable. I couldn't tell if the other Survivors were just new or really didn't care. It got to the point where I was taking keys into each match simply because I got tired of bei

  • Seriously... I can't even fathom. 1.) No looping 2.) No camping 3.) Stop breaking pallets 4.) No proxying 5.) Stop snuffing my boon 6.) Why did you ignore my flashlight? 7.) Why did you bring Franklins? I lost my flashlight! 8.) She was injured and you hooked her! 9.) You can't down me at the gate! 10.) You can't do anything! But we can stand here clicking and teabagging! I've gott

  • The build is Ace in the hole, Plunderers, and Appraisal. Bring 4 shiny coins and you'll have some fun pulling around a dozen items all with add-ons. Fun fact, even if you die, you'll get to keep the item and its add-ons (whichever one you decide to hold). I love doing this build around the holidays.

  • I shut off crossplay just because at this point. Most of my games have been much better without constant cheating every few games, but I also had a few experiences with people that are on console, openly cheating/ using hacks. I know there's a way for some PC hackers to disguise themselves as console gamers but that isn't the case here. It was an SWF four-man squad. First, it was the subtle speed

  • I'm sure many people have this question so I'm throwing it out there. Whenever I play Survivor this never occurs but in a noticeable amount of my Killer matches, gens sometimes pop unusually quickly. What is the standard amount of time for a gen to pop from the onset of the match? I just had a team of four Meg's pop a single gen in under 30 seconds. Thankfully it was shack and I brought the basem

  • Some people (not including survivor mains) seem to think that Lightborn is a waste of a perk. I beg to differ. I just had two matches in a row, one with four flashlights and the other with four flashbangs. Both groups tried to bombard me while body-blocking and both groups ultimately lost their composure and lost after realizing that they had no alternatives to blinding me (sabbing hooks). I ju

  • So I was never a fan of Bubba... until today. He has to be one of the strongest (if not the strongest) in terms of securing kills while getting a few laughs (and ALOT of salt). I'm more or less talking about Insidious Basement Bubba. It seems like a lot of SWF's don't like dealing with this type of Bubba because they tend to pile into the basement which results in maybe one getting out alive. As

  • Hey all, so I've been playing for around two years and I'm still not too sure how to go about creating gen. pressure. When I play as a Killer, my gens seem to pop unusually (and very SUS) quickly for lack of a better term. Last night, three matches in a row, all of my gens popped somewhere between 2-3 minutes and with Doctor on a map like Ormond, that shouldn't be happening. Specifically, with

  • Hey so looking at all of the perks (survivor and killer), it seems like a lot of survivors hate NOED and killers seem to equally dislike Boil Over (as well as Boons). I feel that I always need to point this out but I'm a 50/50 (killer/survivor). Personally, I don't care if a survivor is using BO or even DS for that matter because dropping/ not picking up is always an option that still allows you

  • Hey all, so before I get started, I want to say that I play an even amount of Killer and Survivor. With that being said, both sides can engage in SUS behavior and it's also becoming prevalent on consoles. I play via PS4 and I know that there have been new perks added and others modified, but I'm noticing a common theme with some 4-man teams and speed during chases. Sometimes it's more obvious tha

  • Hey all, I don't usually post anything but I think after my last game (Killer) it warrants an actual conversation about whether cheating is going to be addressed or not. I play a decent amount of both Killer and Survivor so I've had my share of questionable activities occurring on both sides of the aisle. Anyway, I just finished a match playing as Doctor and a number of odd things occurred during
