  Why did the entity choose her if she never really did anything bad before she died of the sickness? She never killed anyone. She even sacrificed her own limb to try and save someone. Billy was abused so he killed his parents and that's why the entity came. The wraith was tricked into killing people, so he went crazy and killed his boss (I think). The nurse went literally crazy and killed a bunch
