Why did the entity choose the Plague?

Why did the entity choose her if she never really did anything bad before she died of the sickness? She never killed anyone. She even sacrificed her own limb to try and save someone. Billy was abused so he killed his parents and that's why the entity came. The wraith was tricked into killing people, so he went crazy and killed his boss (I think). The nurse went literally crazy and killed a bunch of patients. And so on. What did the plague do other than take a few followers with her when she left? Is her "Abandonment of her people" count as something worth the entity coming and claiming her?

    Adiris is a priestess, devoted to serving gods. The Entity could easily pose as a god and take her, knowing she would do Her bidding no matter what.

    Could be a Spirit situation where her misery/desparation/potential rage at the gods caught the Entity's attention in the same way Rin's rage towards her father caused the Entity to choose her over her father.

    Considering her capacity to commune with Divine entities, it may have been less that the Entity chose her and that she screamed out into the void herself and the entity listened.

    Yea this probably. If Adiris sees The Entity as a God (which is kinda is) then she would want to serve it. She might see survivors as "needing to be saved" and kills them as a means to save their soul. IIRC, Nurse is in a similar situation. She kills because she believes it ends suffering, not because she is malicious.

    She was tortured and forced to. Her mori is her trying to show some mercy.

    However the Nurse shows some signs of being tortured. Especially after the devs have said the killers are not responsible for the terrible things that happen to them.

    That she might show mercy to survivors could show that some part of her is still there though.

    I'm kinda taking it the same way that the Azshara Warbring video in WoW did, except Plague wasn't as cunning as Azshara and instead of being made an equal was made a pawn.
