  • Every day the challenge that gives me synthite (the only one I care about) asks me either to headshot guards or snipe guards. This means that: I need to carry around the plasmabolt almost all the time, which I actually don't really like to do. I need to play outposts with lots of guards, when I usually prefer outposts with more traps and a few guards. (Although in Expeditions, I don't really

  • I saw a builder on Reddit complaining (understandably) how few kills they get, because raiders are using: Shield Phoenix pod, and Inch-worming to avoid getting killed. I sympathise with the builder, but I also understand that raiders might not like to retry a tough raid 20 times. (Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, depending on the outpost.) So raiders should have the choice. My suggestio

  • I believe it's supposed to show approximate length, but it doesn't show anything. There is a section called "Harvester Path Length" or something like that, but there is no actual information displayed there. Please fix it. I like to use the middle intel boost, to force myself to occasionally leave my comfort zone, whilst still avoiding outposts I really don't like. (Also, why is the number of

  • https://steamcharts.com/app/1194810#1m My suggestion to BHV: When someone eXits the game, THIS is the moment to offer the player a survey. (Not when the game opens.) Surveys are especially important for new players, or players who haven't played in a while, and have come back but only played a short session (this might indicate frustration). We need to find out what bothers them about the

  • I keep raiding Prosarmogi outposts, because they are the first in the list. If the first thumbnail looks interesting, I will immediately raid it, instead of scrolling down, because FOMO and I'm only human. Doesn't this mean Prosarmogi outposts are the ones which get the most raids? Suggestion: Just shuffle the 5 outposts listed in each difficulty tier, so Prosarmogi isn't always first.

  • Since the last update, I have noticed that FPS is quite low when I'm outside the base. It only picks up when I am a few blocks inside the tunnel. So at least it's not a problem for the entire raid. I can live with it, but reporting anyway. The outpost editor has the same behaviour. Also worth noting that I'm using Intel Iris Xe (on as Asus UX425EA laptop), which is often getting driver updates

  • Don't completely retire them. Reasons: If someone builds a really great outpost, then it should be played by as many players as possible. Builders want their maps to be played. And the players will enjoy playing beautiful and clever outposts! Builders spend a lot of time working on great outposts. But when they really perfect and finalise them, at level 10, suddenly the outpost is retired. Un

  • My friend, who was excited to dive in, skipped the intro and also skipped some parts of the tutorial. As a result, he didn't really know that he had limited ammo, and that he needed to use the grapple to retrieve it. I also sort of zoned out during some parts of the tutorial, and missed some info. Here are two possible ways to resolve this: Simple way: Give us some buttons somewhere in the San

  • I didn't do much social raiding. Mainly because I didn't know whose name I should type in. So please make it easier for us to find other players to social raid: After a raid, display if the creator has social raid maps. If players enjoyed their outpost, then they may want to remember the name of the creator, so they can social raid them. On the social raid screen, as well as remembering our p

  • When I boot the game, I feel a bit isolated from other players. I would like to see some activity information from other players, to feel greater immersion into the world. A lot of games do that with a lobby where you can see other players running around. And games like Eve Online and Elite Dangerous have news bulletins, so we can hear about the actions of other players. Here are a bunch of ide

  • I know it's unlikely that BHVR will even try this, but I am really curious what this game would be like (or might have been) without the grapple, or with a limited grapple. Pros: We could have outposts with open-sky roofs (no ceiling). A 2-block surrounding wall would be enough to keep the player inside an open-topped room. (Currently almost all outposts are closed corridors or caverns, but th

  • The warning about graphics driver version might be redundant (the windows dialog that pops up before you start the game). I have the latest (beta) version of my (Intel Iris Xe) driver, which works fine, but this popup appears whenever I start the game. And my friend, with a different card, has the same experience. But on my old laptop which has rendering glitches (NVIDIA GeForce MX150), it does

  • It would be great to reduce the loading times. Altneratively, reduce how often we need to get a loading screen. Some ways this might be possible: Let us prestige our outposts from the sanctuary, so we don't need to load in to an outpost to prestige it. Also suggested here: https://forums.bhvr.com/Meet-Your-Maker/discussion/364368/various-ways-to-reduce-player-friction-ingame/p1?new=1 Let us

  • Recently I quit a couple of outposts because: I'm pretty sure I played it already (maybe as a duo) so I don't want to raid it again It wasn't a style I enjoy, and I didn't really have the equipment unlocked for it Unfortunately, the next day I tried to go raiding, and without noticing, I ended up raiding these exact same outposts again! Bit of a waste of loading times. Suggestion 1: Indicat

  • The early game grind for upgrades is damn slow. I wanted to unlock a couple of traps or upgrades for my first outpost, but I had to play for many hours before I could afford just one little upgrade. Sure, make a long late-game grind, but please make the early a game a bit gentler. (Get players hooked first!) A simple suggestion for how to fix this: Discount the first 3 unlocks by 75% That w

  • When I enter the Sanctuary and I am told to press the button, I go straight to the button and press it. But this always interrupts the Chimera's welcoming speech! Which just feels yucky. Suggestions to fix this, either: 1. (Easiest?) When the button needs to be pressed, keep the Chimera silent until it is pressed, so there is no welcoming speech to interrupt, or 2. When I press the button, let

  • So the outpost was apparently fine. I had set it to active and people had been raiding it. But then I went in to collect some materials and also make a test run myself. Then I tried to leave but I got a warning message (your base will be deactivated because it is over capacity and also some other problem). So I thought I would do an early prestige, to see if that fixed it. I paid my 425, but t

  • When I am watching a replay, and press E to skip to the next event: It takes a while to get there (depends on how far forwards the event is), ok expected. When it does start "playing" often the visuals freeze up. I can hear things happening but I can't see them. I think 1. is just expected behaviour. But 2. is quite annoying. It's likely that 2. is just standard for Unreal Engine, i.e. not M

  • I want to unlock more traps. So it seems I can get Prota-specific genmat by raiding certain outposts, or by building an outpost on a "Traps" burial site. However, this doesn't actually help me to unlock Prota's traps. Because all Prota needs to unlock traps is general genmat, and synthite. So the only point in levelling up Prota is to improve her boost? I mean that's fine, it's just a bit uni

  • This is just a thought, but once I have spent synthite on a burial site, I kinda feel the need to rush to build and publish it, so I can start earning back some of my investment. Perhaps if burial sites were cheaper to buy, and you only paid the remaining cost later, when you publish it, then we would have more incentive to make the outpost beautiful before publishing.

  • When we are building and we copy something (using middle-click) please also copy its orientation. This is mainly important for blocks, but would also be useful for decals/attachments. And (less important) when copying a trap or guard, copy their selected upgrades too.

  • I experienced this bug on Champaign by TrashBen. Trying to walk up a ramp and over the top, my character got stuck on the lip, and would not walk over it. In the end I had to jump over it. https://youtu.be/HTJQdEeM6Lc Curiously, I have only experienced this bug once. Not in any other raids. Maybe it's Unreal Engine's BSP and nothing to do with Meet Your Maker. ;-)

  • Motivation: My friend is a new player, and he is struggling to get through even Normal outposts. Problem: The game estimates whether a base is Normal, Dangerous or Brutal, but the reality can only be found out when it is raided. As a builder, I want to maximize kills. So I add as many traps as I can, until the outpost turns Dangerous, then I remove one trap, to make it Normal. (OLD) Suggested s

  • In what situation should I prestige early, and in what situation is it better to wait? Thank you, raiders. May your suits be free of sand.
