Don't get me wrong - balance-wise, the game's in a significantly better spot than it was, say, 3 or 4 years ago. It's the core gameplay that's the problem. I don't know when or how it happened, but it's gotten so much worse than it used to be. On both sides, I find myself (and the other players in the match) getting stuck on seemingly invisible obstacles. It's most noticeable on corners. A ki0 comments 91 views last activity

Instead of trying to "fix" camping with perks or changes to the survivors' base kit, why not remove it entirely? Here's a relatively simple solution, based on the concept of Pyramid Head's cages (I think there's other games with this concept, but that's beside the point): When a survivor is hooked, they go through the normal "screaming" animation, then are teleported out of the map and th13 comments 221 views last activity

As killer, you can be stunned while blocking one side and be pushed through the pallet from a stun on the other side. As survivor, killers can hit through pallet stuns and end up on the same side as you. Happens almost every game when I try to get a stun or body block one side of a pallet. This was fixed several patches ago, why is it all suddenly back AGAIN?2 comments 41 views last activity

Eryie of Crows, killer can't hear footsteps, but some of the ambient sounds on the map sound exactly like healing sounds and footstep sounds. As if tracking survivors wasn't difficult enough with Shadowstep and Iron Will. Coupled with the one hook killers can camp for a free kill, the map should be disabled until these issues are fixed.1 comments 41 views last activity

Long story short, I main Hag and Demo, and as anyone who plays at the high end will tell you, they don't do so great at the top unless you are playing anything but the sweatiest build and playstyle. It's reached a point where I can't have fun as these killers any more. I can 4K and it bores me, because it's the same survivors with the same builds spewing the same nonsense post-game (and often out0 comments 11 views last activity

So instead of disabling the new killer, who is the only one causing problems, the disconnect penalty is removed, and thus more people will just disconnect for the sake of it when they go against a killer they don't like, or who does something they don't like, or the killer will disconnect when they're not doing well or they lose a totem at the start, etc... The last time the penalty was off, 99%12 comments 291 views last activity

Platform: PC, Steam Description of the issues: Since the Resident Evil DLC was released, Hag phantasms have stopped emitting a terror radius when triggered. Since the RE mid-chapter, the phantasm spawn animation has a much lower framerate. The front entrance to Disturbed Ward's main building (opposite the basement) has a spot where survivors can run over traps without triggering them. The Mi0 comments 31 views last activity

Platform: PC Description: Going near a hook that a survivor has previously been on as killer (not tested as survivor yet) makes you hear a loud crackling sound. Steps to reproduce: Hook a survivor, return to the hook when they're gone. How often does this occur: Every match.1 comments 31 views last activity

First of all, I'm not a fan of the term "gen rushing". Survivors splitting up and doing separate generators is the optimal way to play. However, when the game spawns the survivors on (or very close to) 4 separate generators at the start of a match, the killer is almost always immediately in a losing position. I've been running Lethal Pursuer since the RE chapter came out, and it's been driving4 comments 41 views last activity

Platform: PC (and I'm assuming others) Description: When the hatch is in the middle of the main building on the Father Campbell's Chapel map, it cannot be opened with a key. I hear this is a common issue when the hatch spawns next to an obstacle, which begs the question of why the hatch can spawn next to obstacles to begin with. Steps to reproduce: Bring an offering to spawn the hatch in the ma0 comments 12 views last activity

I cannot play the game because the new HUD induces headaches. I tried different scaling options, and nothing helps. The game is unplayable in this state. For the record, I play on PC at 1080p. Here's a list of everything wrong with the new HUD, in my opinion: Having to look at every corner of the screen for information is a huge strain on the eyes, and probably what's causing me to have h4 comments 131 views last activity

I think the majority of players can agree that breakable walls, while a neat concept, have been implemented poorly, and given that keys are a hot topic for reworks (especially after the mori change), how about we kill two birds with one stone? Breakable walls Doors: In place of all (or at least most) current breakable walls are now closed doors. Survivors can open/close them either slowl0 comments 11 views last activity

Platform: PC, but I assume all. Description: The entire exit gate tile on Ormond and Autohaven cannot be trapped as Trapper, Hag, and Freddy. The Twins can't switch when one is there, either. This bug existed on the Macmillan rework and was not in the PTB. Steps to reproduce: Try to trap in front of the exit gates on Ormond/Autohaven. How often does this occur: Every match on those maps. The small raised building tile on both Family Residence and Sanctum of Wrath cannot be trapped at all as Hag. Happens on PC in every match on those maps. I assume it's the same on console. You can't place traps, nor is there a prompt, and it's a large area.0 comments 1 views last activity

This bug has been around for a while, but basically if a survivor is downed near a hooked survivor (for example, if the killer chased them to the hook while they were running in for the save), they can crawl under that hooked survivor and the killer is unable to pick them up. This can happen in any match, on any map, and has existed in the game for as long as I can remember. A simple solution0 comments 21 views last activity

Platform: PC (though I assume it's the same across platforms) Description: Since 4.3.0's release, I've been hearing the idle crow chirp coming from normal crows around the map. As killer, this is distracting, as you'd hear that sound and assume someone is AFK (or recently AFK) nearby. I've also run past normal crows as a survivor and heard them make the same sound, despite no other survivors1 comments 61 views last activity

Platform is PC, and I have a Ryzen 7 1700, GTX 1080Ti, and 16GB RAM. I also have the game installed on an SSD, if that matters here. In the vast majority of maps, since the latest patch, I've been experiencing a lot of framerate trouble when the game used to run (almost) perfectly before: Lerys is <40FPS with constant stuttering on low settings as killer, but I hit 60FPS as survivor. That's it. That's the suggestion. Why do killers get quitter bonuses in brutality? Survivors get altruism if their teammates quit, because that's the category they'd miss out on the most. Killers should get sacrifice points, because those are the points the killer is missing out on the most. And as for emblem progress, all players should get a bonus towards the appropriate emblem - if three surv2 comments 21 views last activity
