The Knight's latest nerf wasn't necessary; he’s already not easy to play, though rewarding when you get it right. Now it’s even harder, and you don't even get anything out of it. Before, you actually had to do something to counter the Guards; now, you just have to hold down 'W' and drop pallets early. I think the Knight needs a small buff for his Guards. He isn't a great killer, and there is counterplay—like touching windows and pallets without vaulting them—but lately, I keep seeing survivors running in a straight line without using that tactic and still not getting caught. In the middle of the game, as a knight, I got a 50% slowdown effect for the rest of the game and I can't say if it was a cheat or a bug. It happened right after I used a guard. forgot to take a picture, it is my first time to report a bug. I was excited to test the changes on Knight during the PTB and found him to be a complete blast to play. Cycling guards, canceling guards to set up a different guard mid-patrol, the add-on updates; all welcome and enjoyable to use. The Knight is dead. Why did they removed the best parts of the ptb for him? When carnifex was on cooldown, you were able to use assassin or jailer while you wait. They removed that so now when one is on cooldown all of them are on cooldown. Also being able to cancel a guard mid chase is removed, I know it was a bug but it felt nice and right.
