This is coming from a survivor struggling to stay in rank 1. Stop it. The new ruin changes are needed. Almost every game I play the killer gets 2 or more kills. But no, the killer mains are gonna complain because the devs are starting to realize the game shouldn't be balanced around the killer getting 4 kills every single game. Give us a competitive play, where one has a rank (like it is now in the game), and there are rewards given at the end of each rank reset (maybe a set amount of bloodpoints and iridescent shards based on your ending rank). Also, give us a casual play, where there are no ranks and people don't have to worry about depipping because of a bad round. I say we add another objective for the survivors instead of making gen speed slower, because that would make repairing gens even more boring than it already is. So my idea is that each dull and lit totem on the map slows base gen speed down by X%. This would give survivors another objective or they have to face agonizingly slow generator repair speeds.
