One of the reasons people sweat so much playing killer is cause they know, if they can’t secure at least one single kill before the gates open they’re gonna get hit with that AWFUL noise followed by that insulting results screen. It’s like a middle finger for even attempting to play killer. If killer (and dbd as a whole) is meant to be fun and people shouldn’t care so much then why does this r9 comments 301 views last activity

Good survivors understand pallet value. They know which pallets are expendable and which ones absolutely need to be preserved. They know when they can mindlessly drop a weak pallet just to waste the killer’s time, and when they need to play tight and save the strong ones. That’s why you’ll sometimes see survivors “run” a killer by throwing down a dozen mediocre pallets and still be completely fin5 comments 261 views last activity

the street has two god level pallets at the cars or the variant with the wood. The park next to the house also has two insanely safe pallets with little room to mindgame besides force a pallet break. House being right next to the street, park and tool shed means survivors can juice those pallets for as long as possible then run to house and get further distance. Sorry for the long title, but it’s basically the thesis of my statement: Balancing the game solely around S-tier killers and SWF bully squads ruins the experience for anyone trying to play a basic M1 killer or solo-queue survivors. The top-tier killers Behavior keeps releasing are so oppressive in their base kits—map traversal, passive debuffs, projectiles, stealth—combined with meta perks, that34 comments 542 views last activity

topic. Are the survivors really just outplaying you or are there just 42 pallets for the survivor to run to and pre drop along with Jungle Gyms, Houses, shack, vault and exhaustion perks. Unless your playing a top tier killer with meta perks your going to lose. There is no fun to be had for half a decade old M1 killers with no map traversal, projectiles, built in survivor debuffs, or meta9 comments 151 views last activity

like, is there any reason the killer shouldn’t just tunnel out the first person he sees? I mean it’s not like Survivors can just end themselves on hook anymore, nor can they do anything about being slugged unless EVERY SINGLE player is downed. Honestly if killers wanna tunnel and slug so be it just remove the DC penalty. Why would any survivor wanna stay in a game where they’re immediately bei17 comments 331 views last activity

Just finished a match. we all spawned in. First guy immediately saw it was a Keneki and noped out DC’ing immediately. From there everyone mentally just gave up. Me and this Ada were eventually the last two standing. Kaneki catches me but refuses to hook before getting Ada. Ada gives up but Kaneki isn’t satisfied and starts meming it up with her. All while I’m on the floor begging for death.35 comments 531 views last activity

I like to use Pop, Eruption and scourge hook but I’ve noticed that I can’t use Pop or scourge on the same gen more than twice before the entity blocks it for some reason making it just a normal gen hit. Why? Just why? Survivors get to run from pallet to pallet mindlessly holding W the whole time, yet I the killer can’t hold some pressure on the generators without the game going “no no, that’d7 comments 221 views last activity

I’m running Pop and Scourge hook. I’ve noticed that after two times of use on the same generator the entity will then block any further use of those perks and make my gens hits basic. Is this correct or am I missing something? If that’s the case then that’s so friggin stupid like how much more help do survivors need in this game?2 comments 151 views last activity

It’s hands down the worst killer map, and everyone knows it—yet Behavior still hasn’t touched it in the six years it’s been out. It’s straight-up Pallet Town. No survivor counterplay to speak of—just hold W and pre-drop every pallet for three minutes. God help you if you’re just a basic M1 killer. I queued for a killer game for like 20 minutes in this current ghoul meta, and I had to physically15 comments 451 views last activity

That’s it. That’s the topic. This game works on the same methods casinos use.2 comments 101 views last activity

They couldn’t wait to ruin a fun idea by throwing in the sweatiest killers to immediately suck the fun out. This was the perfect game mode to have basic M1 killers who are too slow for the base game have some fun against vanilla survivors with vanilla perks and vice versa, but no. Now every game is another sweat fest with nothing but Nurse, Wesker, Spirit and Legion. Whats next Skull Merch12 comments 301 views last activity

And that’s saying something considering he’s not as overpowered as Nurse, Skull Merchant etc and there are other arguably more obnoxious killers like Wesker or trickster, but it’s something about wraith players that take him to a whole new level of insufferableness that’s simply amazing. Wraiths know only a few things… find one player and tunnel him off hook immediately then go on and do the s23 comments 471 views last activity

I don't even know what to say that hasn’t been said 1.3 billion times before but almost EVERYONE is tunneling and I’m sick of dealing with it. combine that with this current insufferable killer meta of Scourge Hook, Deal lock, dead man’s switch etc and this has become one of the most unbearable era’s of this game ever. it’s so bad that the first 2-3 minutes of matches now are just survivors c114 comments 2,824 views last activity

For context Im an American living in Japan, playing on an American PS5 and PSN and I cannot find any killer matches. Survivor matches on the other hand come 30 seconds after I ready up. its been like this for a month.2 comments 51 views last activity

She is competing hard right now for the “WORST killer to go up against” spot at the moment. a halfway competent SM and the match is guaranteed to be over before it even begins. places drones all around the map or loops that reveal your position or just take away a health slate. No reward for even disabling the drones as they pop back up after a short amount of time, meaning that she doesn’t e19 comments 371 views last activity

Because the killer will do everything in their power to tunnel you out, or camp you on hook in end game. Just played a game against Freddy with 3 other randoms. I ran him for gens but he finally caught me on the last one. My first hook turned into my last one, because he was hard proxy camping me and all of my teammates weren’t sure how to get the save. I did all the work but was the one who33 comments 662 views last activity

Wraith, Skull merchant, Nurse. Wraith, Skull merchant, Nurse. Wraith, Skull merchant, Nurse. every now and then it’ll be spiced up by a Wesker, Huntress, spirit or Onyro. But other then that it’s Wraith, Skull merchant, Nurse. im tired boss.16 comments 321 views last activity

Tonight I got three nurses, two spirits, two skull merchants, two dredges and a wraith. When does the sweat end? I just want one fun game against an actually fun killer who has some legitimate back and forth with survivors instead of “press ability to win” like can I get a clown, bubba, Myers, oni, alien, Chucky, trapper, blight, ghostface, etc?48 comments 1,363 views last activity

I understand that Trapper is often considered a bottom of the barrel killer on the tier list. However, his only saving grace lies in sending players to a maps where the ground is hard to see, making it likely for someone to step on a trap, then forcing survivors into the basement with Iron Grasp, setting up traps on the steps for a easy domino effect. While it makes sense to set traps at shack e2 comments 311 views last activity

Trickster A beyond infuriating killer to go against with his easy mode, machine gun knives that have no counter play whatsoever. legion a terrible killer whose only attribute is to make matches as much of a slog as possible, because apparently mending ever 5 seconds is riveting gameplay. *Skull Merchant* a killer whose damn near impossible to beat even with a full team on coms3 comments 121 views last activity

Particularly the ones that have no intention of actually playing the game and are just here to bully the killer relentlessly. They do everything but gens and god forbid you go down in end game cause they will just watch you on the floor//hook as they stand by the exit gates trying to teabag the killer after all the gens you did. holy #########.5 comments 91 views last activity

I dunno why more people don’t recognize this as a problem. Out of a roster of 32+ killers that only grows throughout the months, only 6 are generally played on average. Nurse, Doctor, Wraith, Blight, Wesker, Spirit honorable mentions would be Legion or Huntress. Sure you’ll come across a game or two with someone out of this bracket, but the above 6 or so commonly played you could literally62 comments 3,761 views last activity

More specifically the absurd amount of them on each map? here’s some recent footage from myself. https://youtu.be/KjmKTxAHJOQ I wasn’t playing terribly, there’s just only so much you can do when survivors have safe pallet next to safe pallet, next to Jungle gym, next to Shack. It’d be one thing if maps had 10-12 pallets or so. As killer you’re still kicking pallets bu93 comments 2,525 views last activity

Literally every single match. Either I or whoever else who’s unlucky enough to be seen first is immediately tunneled out of the match. I could bet money on it now. is this really the current state of DBD?59 comments 1,962 views last activity

How you gone pick a meta character and tunnel? Like, it’s more understandable if your some basic M1 killer, but your literally playing as spirit, at 5 gens already tunneling. it’s sickening.1 comments 81 views last activity

Solo Q survivor is practically impossible. Killer is practically impossible, unless your playing one of 6 meta killers with meta perks in game with 32+ killers to choose from. The game is so hard balanced towards SWF that literally nobody else has fun besides them. Killers are so op against randoms but still powerless against half decent Swf. ive played this game for three years straight and across two platforms, I have a total of 600+ hrs. The helplessness of playing basic M1 killers was so bad that I took an 8 month break. Last month I reinstalled and quickly remembered why I dropped it. Solo Q is beyond frustrating as you just get tunneled into oblivion by a helpless M1 killer, and the killer experience is so miserable for a11 comments 321 views last activity

Michael Myers, one of the most iconic slasher icons is so unbelievably low tier in dbd, that instead of reworking him into something better, behavior just gives him the most insufferable add on’s ever. really? is it really that fun to play against a killer who can one shot you the entire match?2 comments 101 views last activity

Not survivor/killer perks, Not reworks of entire killers but the insane number of pallets on every map. https://youtu.be/NSmigBSf39Y heres some footage of me playing earlier today. I didn’t make a single mistake but there’s basically nothing I can do when survivors have, safe pallet next to safe pallet, next to jungle gym, next to shack. you wanna make the killer pool23 comments 571 views last activity

Between Busted loops, Insane Number of pallets, Meta survivor perks, Boon totems, Skill based Matchmaking, Pallet Validation and now Deadhard validation Killer is absolutely a void where fun just goes to die. Unless your ready to bust out the most boring meta killer builds and sweat your ass off, Killer is just BEYOND unfun right now.
